Funk Cider

Great place in valley, food was ok nothing to rave about but OMG THE DRINKS WHAT AN ALMIGHTY F-ING JOKE OR SHOULD I SAY RIPOFF, drinks come in large or small.
Think of the smallest wine glass youve ever seen with cider in it and that really is small, cost 9 bucks! The large is not much bigger than a coke glass at 11 bucks plus. Sadly its the norm in these trendy venues wont go back unless im bullied by my daughter lmao forgot to mention im a cider buff and all but one tasted like watered down fruit drinks absolutely no resemblance to a good cider anyone who says different doesnt have a a clue

Pretty large space with many outdoor tables and benches - we were there on a weekday early afternoon so it was empty but I’d imagine it would be packed on the weekends. We tried one of the cider paddles and everything was great, the passionfruit one stood out in particular!

Booked in for lunch for my 40th- we had forty people and arranged taco boards and drinks. Great food and plenty of it, large selection of drinks and wonderful staff. We had a great time and it made my day really wonderful. Can’t thank the staff enough!

Trendy wee place Great variety of different drinks a great way to waste your weekend away.

Even with the large turnover of people from party buses the food service is quick and the quality is great.

Funks always great. They let me park me scoot I side and staff ate always helpful and funny. Perfect in the spring and summer and winter you need to rug up a bit as the huge gum trees block all the warmth. No setback though. Cheers guys

Nice place in the Swan Valley. Cool vibes and nice and open. Can order everything from your table which saves time when the big groups show up.

Good food and drinks. The atmosphere was spoiled when a bus load of drunken 20 year Olds arrived though.

Stopped in for a quick drink. Had a Passion8 cider. It was first class, it'd be easy to make this too sweet, but the balance was very good. Staff are great and friendly. Pretty quick with a bit of humour too.

Absolutely awesome feed and great brews on tap. The place has a great vibe and the staff were fantastic. Definitely be going back again.

The staff were very accommodating in every way. Comfortable setting. Great food, a lovely variety of cider. Prices were on point. Will be back

We accidentally ended up at Funk Cider, and it was a nice experience. The staff were great to chat to. Good parking space and heaps of seating in the venue.

Heaps of different ciders, you can also do a tasting paddle. We think it would be a great atmosphere in the warmer months.

Only reason for 4 stars is that none of us loved any of the cider - but that’s not to say that might change in the future when new brews are released!

My partner and I ordered a couple of Funk ciders at one of the beer/cider fests a few years back. The girl pouring filled the cups above the rim with ice (no exaggeration) and we asked if we could maybe just have half a cup of ice. She apologised and said that she would “get into trouble” if she didn’t fill it to the top upon instructions from management. She said she’d been copping it all day and there was nothing she could do. No problem for us, we just got a drink from the stall next door but I feel you should respect your customers. I felt bad for the girl and we haven’t had a Funk cider since.
Shame as I try to support local breweries as much as possible.

Pizza was AMAZING! I am gluten intolerant and had the gluten free chicken pizza with a crispy, yummy base. The others were really good too. It was cold, so wanted a coffee, and they don't serve coffee! I was very disappointed, and can't believe a restaurant not having coffee? Seats were wet from rain earlier that morning, and not dried, so we all had wet bumbs, which was unpleasant. We tried getting the 2 heaters working that were nearby, but one was broken and the other was out of gas, so we froze instead I won't go back, but will definitely get a pizza to go

Presentation nice, staffs are friendly and very helpful. Vibe was amazing and view was awesome. But, the food wasn't great. Meats were bland af. My friends and I ordered different dishes but none of them tasted like anything. I enjoyed the sweet potato chips, BBQ corn and pineapple cider.

I really enjoyed the ciders and food at funk cider. Most of the seating is outdoors so rug up on a cold day. The meat platter for 2-3 people is very tasty and takes a bit of eating.

Come for the cider, but not the food. It was heavily overpriced and comparatively underwhelming. They used to have pizzas and burgers. Should probably go back to that.

The Gold Star goes to the Pineapple Cider which seemed to be the popular choice of the day!
Just a suggestion as the day was a little chilly, maybe the plastic covers to block out the wind but we still enjoyed our time there, thank you for having us!

Unfortunately wasn’t overly impressed with our experience today! Although the atmosphere and live music were lovely and the staff were friendly, I would recommend coming only for a drink and not for the food. Our food for two people took over 40 minutes to come out and the only vegan option was a very boring salad with only lettuce, beetroot, tomato and a tiny bit of pumpkin. Would have loved a pizza option with vegan cheese at the least.

Most beautiful and spacious beer garden, with gum trees and plenty of tables just make sure to book because it does get busy! Delicious cider and food and very friendly staff (my food was not showing up for 45 minutes and I asked a staff member and he not only followed up and brought me my food but gave me a free tasting paddle)! Very happy camper!
