Frankland River Retreat reviews
30 A little piece of peace
Clean & comfortable self contained accommodation with no distractions.
By far my favourite place to escape to and get my studying done
A great place to spend a week or a weekend! The host is super responsive and has made this a perfect place to have a getaway. Will be back!
Stars all aligned when we stayed at this amazing place. The energy from this place was highly spiritual and the view of the stars was cosmic.meditation at the weekend reached a high due to the peace.
Good place for Yoga & Meditation retreat would highly recommend it for anyone wanting to revitalise their soul. We were recommended this place from a friend and so glad we took them up on it.will defiantly be back, only Telstra works at the house but that's fine as its less distraction for us
Lovely comfortable house in a quiet location, thank you it was a well deserved rest at Frankland River Retreat, we would recommend this holiday place if you need some peace and quiet
>> So much peace & tranquility, so much beauty in nature.and so much potential for nature-based eco-tourism and wilderness adventure therapy! We also love the (less tame) section of the Frankland River from Mount Frankland downstream to Sappers Bridge (w/w rafting of course), then we swap our rafts for the canoes paddling down to the Walpole Inlet and up unto the Deep River.absolutely beautiful part of our magnificent wild country.by Jenny & Andrew
My husband and I stay at Frankland River Retreat for 2 nights and wish we could have stayed a week.
Having breakfast looking out over the lush green rolling hills was spectacular.
The retreat is very private and peaceful, we spent both nights in front of the fire place, sipping red wine and talking about life.
This is a perfect place for busy couples to reconnect without distractions from the world outside.
Thanks for everything Jade
Awesome location, feels like stepping back 50 years to more relaxed time. Stayed here with 9 mates, no one had to share a bed.
Worth booking if you have mates visiting internationally.
Will book again.
"A True Getaway". Play, Rest or Visit the winery's. Enjoy the quiet and don't forget to gaze at the night sky. The main house easily sleeps 8 people. Highly recommend.
A really nice wee cabin, with enough amenities to be comfortable, BUT better road signage would help plus once in the property even finding this "hidden gem" was a task! Shower water pressure wasn't great and I guess depending on 2 time of the year, mosquitoes were just rampant and no repellent!
Bed pillows were really thin but three up helped! Having to switch on the power and water wasn't too big a deal but this meant the large fridge took some time to function well so a smaller fridge would be better. There was no TV so beware though I'd imagine reception would be poor as even cell phone wasn't great.
Cute enough place but just lacking some touches and keep in mind the local IGA closes early.
Perfect hideaway, old but you'll get all you need. River less than half a kilometer ideal for kayaking, motor accessible closer to the river. Very helpful caretaker. Only Telstra works and no reception inside the house. Pretty remote and highly recommend to have a Telstra prepaid sim ready or a navigator. Good times and memories made.
