Frankland River Retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay in the Homestead with our friends. The Homestead is very spacious, comfortable and very well equipped, beds very comfortable too. The fire was welcoming and the boys kept it well stacked. We didn’t empty your stack of wood, Jade but we sure tried!
We loved the peacefulness and tranquility of the surrounding rural area and the views from the verandah down to the river and the paddocks beyond were wonderful. We loved being out in the country away from the hustle and bustle of city living and being approx 15 kms from Frankland Village was an added bonus.
Can thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for a few days escape to the country.
We would love to revisit sometime in the future.

What a beautiful place to reset and unwind. We spent two nights at the homestead and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Jade was very welcoming and friendly, the house was very clean and had everything we needed. Loved it and would stay again

Frankland River Retreat is the perfect relaxing getaway located on a beautiful rural property. The cabin was very clean and well equipped. The host Jade provided clear instructions and responded quickly. Highly recommended if you are looking for a quite getaway in a picturesque location.

My partner & I came down and stayed in May 2018 and enjoyed our stay at the house in Frankland. The house has become more popular and we were unable to stay in 2019 as it was already booked. Managed to squeeze a few days this year just after the madness. The house has some new features and improvements, we still love having breakfast in the dinning room looking at the view. I give 10 stars

We had such a good time. Our family really enjoyed the warm and inviting house where everything had been thought of. The host is very helpful and provides excellent information on the house and surrounds. We found the whole experience so relaxing and enjoyable.

We stayed for 2 nights in the cabin, which is located just a stone's throw from the main house. The cabin features a queen bed (super comfy), reverse cycle air conditioner, ensuite and cooking facilities including hotplate, small oven, microwave, kettle and toaster. And. It's so cute! I only have one complaint and that is that the water pressure in the shower is quite low. However this is minor when you think about the awesome location, well thought out facilities and peaceful surroundings. It was great to stargaze at night and wake up to the sound of birds and sheep.

My husband, our daughter and I stayed in the main house, I must say everything was 10/10 the house, the view was just out of a movie. We loved having dinner and breakfast in the dinning area, the view was spectacular. House was clean and had everything we needed, definitely exceeded our expectations. We’re so grateful to the owners for booking us in at short notice. The information booklets in the house were super helpful. The best place we’ve stayed at so far. 10

This place is really beautiful went there a while ago and it was so peaceful.no traffic.fresh air and absolutely no where to be was amazing

Great place to stay and enjoy the beautiful countryside and nature nearby. Awesome getaway from it all. Host was great too. Very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

My wife and I spent a very enjoyable 3 nights in the cabin. It was small but had all the facilities we needed and was very comfortable. The night sky was awesome as we were well away from city lights.

Just back from a weekend in the cabin on the estate, we absolutely loved it! Waking up to the sounds of nature was bliss and we had everybody we needed within. Close to Alkoomi wines to stock us up for our evenings just watching the sunset was amazing, a beautiful part of the country, will defo be back!

This cute little cabin was an amazing stay. Quaint but comfy, extremely secluded and peaceful with loads of room to go off and wander the property and explore.
Highly recommended if you need to get away from it all.

Beautiful countryside, 5 minutes walk from the river, spacious house. Owner is a really nice guy

This is SUCH a lovely place to stay. Beautifully clean and really well equipped. Our visitors from the UK loved it and we’ve now taken them to stay there twice.
Jade is a great host and easy to communicate with.
I can’t wait for another occasion that we need accommodation in that area!

If u would like peace n quiet this is the place to go.
If u want to see the stars in the heavens above this is the place to go.

Fantastic place to get away and enjoy the country. So much to do especially for kids & teenagers, canoeing on the river is a favourite. Comfortable accommodation in the main house so snug and warm when the fire is going. Can't recommend this place highly enough!

Stayed at this pleasant cabin when the Frankland Retreat was booked up.
Simple set up with comfy bed, now i'm torn between the Cabin and the house retreat both sit on a great location, very peaceful

Stayed at this amazing place with my partner in June, the weather was very chilly but sitting in front of the fire kept us warm. Spent time walking along the property and enjoying moments together. Really good to get a break from work. Would love to come back, a hidden secret waiting to be found.

Peaceful and relaxing. Love the stars in the evening. Not far from Denmark. Great hiking around. House is ideal. Loved it.

Tranquil clean place with spacious rooms, a couple of dining and living rooms by memory when we went. Walking distance to river, great yards for outdoor activities.
