Fourseasons Holiday Park

We stayed 13 days during January 2021. Family of 4 - 2 boys aged 11 & 8.
We grabbed this on-site van accommodation with ensuitr as it was the only available accommodation when we booked - approx 3 weeks prior. We were lucky to get this. We then read reviews and admittedly were a little anxious, as many reviews were not favourable. We stayed in V26.
Based on reviews we read, we came prepared with our own sheets/ towels, as well as cleaning sprays. The sheets were no problem on the beds but we preferred to use our towels.
The caravan itself - we felt the desire to clean ourselves before we used it. There was an ant infestation (still many alive) in the cupboards (we could see dead ants everywhere so our guess is they had been sprayed before we arrived) - which we sorted ourselves after a trip to Bunnings and a purchase of Antrid. We had brought our own dustbuster so we cleaned up the ants that were already dead. We also wiped down all bench tops - especially due to the ants.
The annexe was nice and new with a good air con. Unfortuantely air con doesn't go around corners so the bedroom didn't receive much coolness.
Small things which need improving - a mirror in the bathroom would be handy! No powerpoint in the bathroom as well - so my husband couldnt shave. No hooks in the bathroom either so additional bath towels couldnt be hung to dry. One rail for a 6 berth van is not sufficient.
The main bedroom mattress in the annexe was uncomfortable - both adults and children (we gave up this bedroom after 2 nights and we slept on the single bunks). There is a dip in the middle and both adults roll into the middle all night, so no-one got a decent sleep. Doesn't make for 'happy days' moods.
We didn't complain about these things as we were able to fix our situation to be comfortable enough for our stay.
Everything else was pretty great. Office staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Cleaning staff were friendly and obliging when I asked some questions. The park grounds were well kept.
Kids did complain about the wifi signal at times (or lack thereof).
Pool was great. Kids loved the gaming room. Laundry facilities were fine. Ablutions down near the entrance were good - with new toilets. I couldn't see any power points in there either though.
My hubby mentioned the lights in the mens toilets were often off or dimmed (not on properly?) which seems strange.
We had read many unsavoury reviews before attending, so we were a little anxious about our stay,  but overall a well situated pleasant park, that we'd most likely stay at again.
I hope this addresses some of the really negative reviews - it really is a nice park, just nothing overly fancy.

Very run down and in need of more than a little TLC, small shady sites for tents/vans and the road is very noisy. The number of permanent vans (more like shacks) put me off. On the plus side the showers were hot and they had last minute availability for school holidays. I would go back but only if its the only thing available.

We're very impressed! After reading reviews, we were a little unsure what to expect, but absolutely delightful! We were in the unpowered area and had tons of space under the trees. Broad range of facilities for families, and all kept clean and useable. Highly recommended)

Neat and clean campground.spots a bit tight for caravans.the dogs loved it, we liked it.great location, 60 meters from the beach

On Site Caravan: disappointed with the quality and cleanliness of the caravan. It is worn down badly. Check in for 2 nights but decided to check out after 1 night, we left 7am early next day. Can't stand to spend time over it.

Not sure about other cabin quality, it looks nice for others.

Asked for photo reference when doing booking but the Park PIC do not have any photos to show. After believing that the stay would be good and exciting, we booked to experience the Caravan stay.

Well where do I start first off we didn't get the site we booked 12 months in advance and they havent upgraded there sub stations to take on the busy load of power which is needed for a peak time like easter paid for a powered site and only got power for 50 % of the time, shower blocks weren't the best and when we went to inquire about power and why we didn't get the site we booked they couldnt give a F-k just said well that's the site we put you on and couldn't get anyone on after hours number lucky we didn't have a emergency, been to a lot of caravan parks and this is the worst I don't even want to rate it but it's hard to give a one star.

Spent the weekend at the park.love it great to see a park that is so well geared for furry friends. Highly recommend the park will be back soon. Amazing staff and very helpful

Great place to stay, clean facilities, good price, family and pet friendly, and good shower pressure and shower facilities

The park was horrible, especially the owner/care taker. We had booked two powered sites and was told we weren’t allowed to use half of the second one we paid for because of “new” grass or was told we would be kicked out if we had anything on it. He then came back a second time at 10: 10pm telling us we had gone over curfew and weren’t allowed to sit outside on our table or again he would kick us out. The next day he came back to our tent and told us he wanted to put us at the back of the camp site the no power section which we were fine with but then wouldn’t give us a refund for paying for a powered site for the second night and stayed in a non powered site. Will not be coming back again because of the service we received.
Very disappointed in the actions that were taken towards us and our group.
