Flutes Restaurant

Had a beautiful lunch here while the sun came out for a bit. Fantastic views and service and the steak was absolutely spot on!

Good selection of wines, food quality is good and the view from the restaurant is good. Highly recommend if you are travelling on your wine expedition.

It was OK. I was going to order the Fettuccine Marinara. Then, I read that the dish is topped with the cheese, Grana Padano - OMG. This is sacrilege, YOU DO NOT top a marinara (seafood) with cheese! Any fish with cheese does not go!

Amazing lunch, had the set menu of beef carpaccio, seared tuna, seafood pasta, medium rare trout, pavlova and panna cotta.
All the food and service was excellent.

Randomly selected Flutes from the entertainment card and was soooo impressed. The gardens are lush and green and makes you reconsider your own garden. Excellent tucker! We ordered the fish trio and the steak. Service was great.

Would highly recommend Flutes Restaurant for service which was impeccable and the food selection delightful and delicious. The manicured gardens and view of the lake was a beautiful backdrop for our meal. For a party of 11 guests, we were all very satisfied. Thanks Rav

Took my wife, who is vegan, for lunch here because the chef seems to care about the food served to a variety of clients. We weren't disappointed, in fact positively impressed. Service was friendly and attentively delivered by genuinely caring people. Food was excellent, way above regular menus and the prices were fair considering the overall quality of food, service and setting. We were pleased and can recommend it to anyone who appreciates good value.

Had a great lunch here the other day. Beautiful sitting out on the deck and wasn’t too hot; we also had the option of dining inside. We had seafood & soba noodle salad / sesame crusted tuna loin for entrees, and both had ocean trout for mains. All dishes were fantastic and excellent service, gardens well kept and easy to get to. Would love to come back to this place to see what it’s like in the winter and to taste everything else on the menu. Highly recommend!

We have extremely bad experiences with flutes restaurant this Christmas eve lunch, strongly not recommend. The only waiter there has no customer service at all, when we dealing with the kid’s drama, he still urged to order with bad attitude, we ask him please wait and we compliant about his attitude, he ask we to leave the restaurant. The 3 course set menu, took more than 2 hours to serve (the whole restaurant just few table, not even 1/3 full.) and the food quality, especially the dessert is very poor. As you can see the picture, that’s the vanilla pannacottas when they served, all collapse like a tofu. We Definitely will no go again.

The service was very poor, we waited over 1 hour for our meals and again another 45 minutes for our desserts, there was also no apology or acknowledgement from the staff. I ordered the Flutes Signature Trio which were 3 small pieces of fish for $50. My gf ordered the steak which was also a tiny portion. After spending well over $100 we were left still hungry.

Rather disappointed with our experience here. We had been told good things but were sadly let down by the sub par food. The portions were small, bland and wildly overpriced.

The only redeeming qualities of this restaurant were the polite waitresses and lovely scenery. It would be more worthwhile to walk around this area instead.

Had lunch at this restaurant and must say that the service was excellent. The staff were very friendly and very attentive as well. Food was super quick. Tried the French Crepes which were good. Creme Brulee and Sticky date were both very good. Views were amazing.

We went to Flutes restaurant for Christmas lunch and were very pleased. It was full of energy with lots of Christmas carols and a festive menu to choose from.
The views over the water and grounds were beautiful. Friendly staff as well.

Took a while for the food to come. Lamb and fish was juicy and full of flavours. Good selection of drinks and good service. Very nice views from the outside seating area with decking overlooking the lake. The whole estate was breathtaking and stunningly green.

Amazing food, wonderful service and superb environment, we enjoyed our meals so much and definitely be back next time

Beautiful location and great food. I had my birthday lunch here, we didn't book a table in advance or tell anyone that it was my birthday but the waitress was so sweet, polite and just so attentive that I felt eternally grateful for her service as I was not having a great day before that. Our meals didn't take long to arrive and everything was cooked perfectly. This restaurant is a must try. It was a first visit for me and third for my mom and she said it has always been so nice and she picked it for my birthday lunch for a very good reason, perfect serene spot with the beautiful view. A few gorgeous fairywrens visited us as well when we were having desserts, can't wait to go back.
