Firehouse Restaurant

2021 - Now 5 stars! Waitress (or is that wait person) was excellent, food superb (calamari, beef checks, prawn & crab pasta and garlic bread) and in a relaxing comfortable environment.
2016 - Better than 4 stars but not quite 5. Outstanding service, excellent food. Looses marks for ambience. You MUST try the grilled snapper tortilla

I had the rib eye and you could cut it with a butter knife perfectly cooked amazing presentation portion wise a little bit small but at expensive restaurants you get what you pay for quality not quantity amazing the blackberry smash was tasty too

The Beer was good the meal was just ok. I don't know about the rest of the menu. Atmosphere at Firehouse isn't great but the staff are great and provide good service.

Didn't eat or use restaurant as such. Was there for a function. Parking is limited but customer service and place is friendly and nice.

Warm and inviting room with a bar. Good menu. Beautiful food. Generous portions. Drink prices really good. Friendly staff. An outdoor seating area with gas heaters and a fire. Definitely worth a visit.

Some Staff were rude and not professional. Food was good and presented well though. Have room for improvement and training

I really liked the fire house restaurant
So much choice and we all had different meals and we all enjoyed what we had
The staff were very good as well

Not bad rooms, skinniest saddest $44 "rib eye" I've ever set my eye on. Fire house draught is a tasty drop! Had the smashed avo for breakfast, very very nice and generous serve too!

We had a yummy meal. The barman was very friendly, accommodating & helpful, thanku. Beautiful, clean place. I'll be back

Extremely rude owner and waiters having us waited for over one hour in front of counter without offering a seat. Worst experience ever. Will tell friends and families to stay away from this restaurant.
Edit —-To respond to the owner or managers reply: we went to WA just not long ago and stayed in the hotel so instead of being negligence of your bad service there are better ways to resolve the problem.we know where we were at and what comments we left. We stood at the entrance of your restaurant where the QR code is literally looking at the waitress gone pass one after another one.

Staff were awesome. Friendly and bubbly and very accommodating. I'd rather be asked more than once for a drink than not at all, means the staff are doing their job
Would never complain about over service after experiencing no service at all from other establishments.
I have been served home made laksa soup from a traditional Singaporean lady I used to work with. Since then I have mad cravings for a good laksa soup. The chefs did not disappoint! Craving satisfied! If I had one critique though, I would have had it as hot as they do in Singapore. I like my chili though. For the average person who would eat it though it was a nice mild heat. Would definitely recommend it. If I lived local I would definitely be back.
We live in a time where people have strange perceptions and expectations on reality. So I like to pay credit when credit is due. Thank you to the staff and chefs. I'm not easily impressed so well done

We had a great night. Family get together, great fast service good menu choices and awesome tasty food.

Stayed at hotel 4 nights love the house keeping staff, great work beds them selves are not the best but are okay first night ate lamb shank down at the restaurant 4 hours later spent the next 2 days vomiting and more.
Gave it one more chance with the chicken curry was nice but a little disappointed with the amount of rice served with the dish still a nice place.

Part of Country Comfort Motel, Ascot/Belmont area. Good food in the restaurant, inexpensive. Had the steak sandwich with REAL steak.wow!
Highly recommended both for accommodation (get a balcony suite) and "Firehouse" restaurant, the "Bar' has great staff and ICE cold beer on tap.

The Firefox's Restaurant was great i had their MVP Steak Sandwich and a Full Buffet Breakfast which was delicious. The Venue is Beautiful.

Some good and some bad.

The good first.
I had the Lamb shank which was cooked to perfection, mash was great and the green beans good. Partner had the chicken is pastry - really good dish, well balanced flavours and a good salad.
Bar service was prompt and the Funk Cider is recommended.

Now the not so good.
Wait staff need to communicate a little better, we were asked by 3 different staff if we wanted more drinks, even though we had just ordered them. Then asked if we were ready to order even though we had just eaten.
I ordered Natural Oysters to start - they came with the main course! The Oysters were not good, I only ate one which was not nice at all, Oysters should be eaten fresh, these certainly were not. The oysters were not even separated from the muscle and had no liquor whatsoever. When the waitress cleared the plate of the remaining 5 uneaten Oysters from the table I explained that the oysters were not good. She did not apologise, offer another main course or offered a refund.

Such as shame

Stayed 2 nights, room was clean and had everything we needed. Had a lovely meal, food was delicious and wonderful service from bar and restaurant staff who were thoughtful and attentive

I ordered take away lunch from the firehouse restaurant as I was staying at the hotel and had to leave early and it was absolutely deplorable for $25 dollars. The quality of the fruit was fit for animal feed and the sandwich was a joke. I got better lunch in gaol. Disappointing as the dinner was ok.
