67Ordered lunch in bar with the table scanner.waited nearly an hour only to find out there was a problem connecting scanner to kitchen. No signage about this problem anywhere. Not happy.
Great service and food. They don't serve hot drinks but allowed us to bring coffees in.
I had the snapper tacos and popcorn chicken for lunch. Both were amazing. Serenade of live jazzy beats by a band in the balcony. It was awesome. Had a few dances here. People were super friendly here. What a positive atmosphere. Will definitely visit again and highly recommended.
Was a huge “piss off” right from the start
Rang to make booking & get a guy talking to staff member while I was on the phone, completely ignoring me
Booked a table for 15 people, mentioning it was for 3 birthdays,
Arrived to get a high bar table and a booth! In this huge establishment why give us 2 seperate tables that we had to squeeze around & be seperated, everyone was extremely disappointed & angry
Meals weren’t big enough …. Going home to snacks after is not a great sign
Saying that, the pub is really nice with a good atmosphere
Unfortunately no recommendations from any of us
Absolutely great staff, went above and beyond to make sure we got into our room after we were delayed past closing.
This is the place to go but not the place to stay. Staff all very friendly and helpful, food was good.
Room was small with a lumpy bed. Shared bathroom lacking towel rails. Music every night we stayed. Earplugs were provided, nice touch but did nothing to dull the vibrations and sound of music. Then last night was a bonus of a football game which finished at 5am. Left very tired
Was here for the Argentinian world cup game and was genuinely surprised how engaged they were with the crowd. Such a great night! Thanks heaps for hosting guys:)
$26 for a 9'' meat lovers pizza was disappointed to say the least.
Chip & Aioli dip failed to impress
Outdoor atea had very big screen to watch sports. Outside is the place to be.really worth a look.
A fabulous place for a quick lunch with great service, excellent prices and choices
The beer garden is our fave place to chill during our lunch break
Over 1 1/2 hr wait for food, without warning when ordering. Got parking ticket and late for work (was lunchtime with less than 10 % occupancy). Was not told when ordering that only 2 staff in kitchen. Meals in dribs and drabs. Quite salty lamb dish.
Supplement: after almost 2 hrs, got the pasta dish with prawns and pepperoni; delicious hot dish …quite recommendable.
Manager made amends by offering free round of drinks and a drinks voucher. Good amends.
Really bad people on this place.
They are so rude and If you ask for help they just gonna ignore you. The manager is such a bad guy
What an Amazing Pub We moved to Perth 201 days ago and this was our 50th pub to visit, our target before Christmas And definitely our favourite, what a wonderful pub, with just the best staff, Beautiful Cold Beer and the most amazing afternoon in the beer garden. This pub will definitely become our local
This heritage building was built in the year 1887, about 137 years old. It was well-maintained and retained beautiful architecture. It has a lovely interior decoration and a cozy outdoor dining area. The friendly and helpful staff recommended me a few popular Aussie foods for my next visit. Good ambiance. Enjoy! (2022-11)
A typical backpackers experience. Don't stay on weekend if you need to rest. We made the mistake of staying on the Sunday night - not knowing that there was a Sunday session that carried on til Midnight ; terrible after a long day of travelling. Then other guests were drunk talking in the hallway. The bathrooms and bedrooms were clean, the walls very thin could hear noise from other bedrooms and bathroom. Beds and pillows not comfortable. Basic communal kitchen with mini fridge and glassware, toaster and kettle. Food was great downstairs.
Possibly the worst night ever. Currently laying in my room listening to the most penetrative 'doof doof' music. My windows are literally rattling! Pretty pricey too for a shared bathroom and not as much as tea and coffee facilities available.
Used to be a very different venue back in the 1980s. This pub had an extra big event for a Saturday Freo Dockers finals game, it was crowded and drink service staff were under the pump. Queues for toilets and drinks may not be a typical experience on a normal trading day. They had other booked events on in downstairs and upstairs private function rooms. Staff were fighting through the crowd to serve food but everyone was well behaved. Worth trying out for a feed on another time and day?
Visited the Fed last night, have always loved this venue, however, not this time. The food was basically terrible, overcooked and nasty. Fish and chips were burnt and minuscule. The specials menu was just that… special… now a thing of the past. I’m told the new owners have changed the menu to make it more cost effective which is obvious, cheap, no quality. The wine price is also massively over priced, not good Fed, please return to your previous excellent all round performance.
The new autumn menu is terrible. Oven fried chips, tough steak and half serves, no salad. What happened? This place has great music and atmosphere, and the chips used to be the best in freo, but not now.
Fixings on stairway rail came out of wall as i was climbing stairs, key would not go in or come out of room door without considerable force: cut heel of my palm open doing so. Doof doof music until quite late. No hot water in shower.this hotel needs jesus: stay away
