Eye Scream Café reviews
66Came here for breakfast today, the options are incredible and prices are so reasonable. On receiving our drinks, my husband's was a little too strong on coffee and not what he expected. We asked them if they could possibly remake it and they were so polite. The second drink was exactly what he was looking for. The food and service here has been exceptional. Highly recommend.
Love this place. The kids that work there are great. My daughter wasn’t going to have an icecream until she saw all the flavours. She loved it so much but got too full and gave me the last bite.
Smoothie and juices great varieties but everyone has to try their waffle breakfast it was the best
The ladies were helpful and I enjoyed my lemon meringue waffle dessert. Would recommend. Lemon curd is homemade
Awesome ice cream, good portion sizes on French toast, 1 easily feeds 2 people. Service has become very slow here. Waiting a long time for orders to come out.
This is the best ice cream shop around. Very rarely do I go to Rockingham and not go into Eye Scream Cafe for a double scoop cone. Yummm
Ordered Nutella pancakes, and a breakfast ham n cheese omelette.
Definitely was not prepared for the huge serving size or we would have just shared the pancakes!
3 pancakes, huge scoop of ice cream, lots of nuts n whipped cream. Definitely good value.
Omelette was cooked perfectly.
Had take-away containers available.
Omg! Ice cream to die for, so many gorgeous flavours and reasonable price too. You must try it
Delicious coffee was the best waffles Delicious huge serve place was so busy poor staff ran off their feet had a wait but seeing how busy they were they were doing a great job keeping up go back again
Friendly staff. Lovely greeting. Delicious strawberry pancake. Lots of real cream and ice-cream.
A classic greasy spoon diner. The family and I went in for cheese toasties which were great. It was a very busy summer holiday day and the efficient staff handled the orders perfectly. The icecreams that I saw being served were massive and looked delicious. I recommend this place.
Serve the best beverages, waffles, pancakes and ice-cream. Portion sizes are great, you get what you pay for!
This is my favourite Icecream cafe, staff are lovely and their servings are huge, my only disappointment is I can’t eat dairy and my only option is the 3 Sorbet flavours. I wish you could supply more flavours for me, dairy free and Vegan would be great
They have Simmos ice cream and it was yummy. They also have various types of waffles, shakes that were yummy too. I know that everyone is under staffed these days and it's hard to serve on very busy days. However, when there is clearly no system in place then service is so slow. It took 15 to 20 minutes to be served for ice cream, why? 4 stars for food but 2 for service.
Such beautiful and lovely staff. Extremely polite and friendly. Young ladies and are always on top of things and such great attitudes!
The food is amazing, drinks are great and everything is well priced. Been here numerous times and I’ve never had any sorts of issue whatsoever.
I tried the new ‘Biscoff Waffles’ - was amazing.
Definitely a great place for breakfast (or a naughty dinner or lunch)
I had a photo of the before photo, but… it wouldn’t upload.
So here’s proof that it was truly delish
Reluctant to even give 1 star… I ordered a choc mint thick shake which was absolutely revolting. Since when were thickshakes made with ice? It tasted like a mint slushie/ watered down ice cream and was undrinkable. A thickshake should be made with icecream and milk and if they aren’t made the standard way then the ingredients should be stated on the board. Thickshakes do not contain ice! Not only that, but I was rudely refused a refund.disgraceful customer service.
Popped in for a quick coffee on a busy public holiday and had a lovely experience. Despite being run off their feet the staff were kind and worked quickly to make sure everyone was served. Our coffee and caramel slices were delicious!
I had an extremely long wait and enquired about my food. The man I asked looked at me and ignored me. When my food came it tasted like lots of pepper had been put on it. It hurt my throat and I realized they had done something nasty to my food. Please stay clear of this cafe. It is such a low act to tamper with peoples food. I am wondering if the spat on it too as i was very ill a few hours later.
We were told there was a 45 minute wait which were happy with. After about 40 mins waiting for waffles and pancakes we started noticing people who had ordered a long time after us receive their waffles. When we approached staff we were told waffles were faster to make then what we ordered. When our meal came out (waffle madness, strawberry pancakes, egg benefit) the eggs Benedict was covered in a layer of what appeared and tasted like hot pepper. I guess the staff thought this was funny. I approached the staff to enquire what the substance was only to be completely ignored. As you can see from the attached picture it was a heavy 'dusting'. It is a meal we had regularly and it has never been hot like this before. Btw the 'junior' staff member was the elder man that all other staff seem to report to.
We love to come here for breakfast. Great location, there was quite a wait on the drinks but it was very busy for a beautiful Sunday morning!
