I feel that the vibe and standards have declined since my last visit in February 2021. For lunch on Sunday, our mains came out before our entrees, even though we were asked if we wanted the entrees with the mains. The quality of the food that we were served did not meet our expectations of the venue. Disappointed

This venue was so utterly disappointing. Went for the markets, which were ok, tried to stay for a drink and snack. The service was just atrocious. After 45minutes of not receiving 2 bowls of chips, asked a waitress who said they were sitting on the pass, 15 more minutes went by, and still no chips. So weren't about to eat stone cold chips that took an hour so went up and finally got a refund. What a joke. Never again.

Three stars for the beer. The food oh well. 5 slices of chorizo deep fried for $12. The thing that I expected to be a signature dish, platter with pork knuckle, a schnitzel and chips was a bit odd as the pork knuckled is like a corned thing, very salty. The schnitzel is that reconstituted chicken stuff, not chicken breast. I'll go there for the beer but that particular choice of food wasn't great. I may try a Pizza next time.
The wheat beer was really nice.

Staff were extremely diligent about making sure you showed your vaccination status. So thank you. The staff were happy and cheerful and the food was amazing and we enjoyed every bite.

An unmissable introduction to Bavarian cuisine and brewery accompaniments. A wonderful representation of how far the valley has come in the ways of international food and as traditional as any beer hall in or outside of Munich itself. Also available is a rather elegant selection of cigars including a personal favourite Cuba's monte Cristo no. 2. The venue itself is simply picturesque and would meet the needs of any gathering or organised event. Amazing selection of beers brewed to German standard and incredible setting to enjoy them in. This is not a venue to miss.

I came with my 2- sisters couple years ago to "eat" in this Restaurant and THIS, i will NEVER Forget when I asked the waitresses for our tons of leftovers food orders AFTER I've mistakenly ordered a few Wrong dishes so ended up had tons of Leftovers so I went up to this waitress and asked Can I have Containers for takeaway and she just turned around and said Unfortunately, we don't allow takeaway! Then LEFT so This time, as an Event Organizer I've been chosen to organize a 15- 20 people Lunch or Dinner place but because I encountered such Grossly disgusting Waitress in this Restaurant, I decided to lead THIS Group of 15- 20 people to have their Lunch at another Place/ Restaurant in Swan Valley INSTEAD!

Beer was fine, food was fine, although the Schweinshaxe (pork knuckle) could have done with a little crackle, although I might be being a little harsh as I don't think crackle is traditional, maybe someone will correct me. What really makes this place is the people, the staff were all wonderful.

Takes a weird amount of time to get a cocktail to the table. Need to work this out with your bar staff. Drinks shouldn't take longer than food. Food was good and quick service with the food at least.

Fantastic food, great friendly staff, and always has a great atmosphere, we without a doubt will continue to return each year for our Christmas Parties! Thank you Elmars

Disappointing pork shank, dry and was clearly lacking the same standards as previous years. Burger buns not toasted. Music was so loud that conversations in the dining area was impossible. The overall experience and vibe has changed, I was very embarrassed to recommend this place for my fathers birthday.

Ordered Soup and Fish burger from the specials board. The soup was comparable to dishwater and the only flavour which could be extracted was of salt. The fish was overcooked and overpriced. Have tasted better fish at the corner fish and chips. Ambiance was good but tainted with disappointments.

The food was bare minimum, for $28 the steak sandwich was tiny. It seems they have cut a regular bread roll in half and served that to us. The meat lacked adequate seasoning and was cooked medium well by default. Will not return unfortunately

The family day for October Fest is insanely overpriced! Upwards of $30 ENTRY with food and drink starting at $10. Not to mention face painting, rides and side show alley is all from $6!
If you're happy to pay $80 for entry for a family of 4 plus an additional $20-$40 to have a decent time then you could definitely find cheaper places. We could have taken the kids to the movies, timezone AND out for lunch for what we spent here today. Never again and I will be warning other parents. I wasn't the only mother there shocked at the prices.

My 3rd visit to Elmar’s since the last one in 2019. Was very disappointed this time with their Signature Pork Shank. We were surprised it came out so fast, minutes after we ordered. The skin was not crispy and the meat tasted salty and stale. It made us wonder if it was an overnight leftover that’s reheated. The sauerkraut was so mushy that it’s like having puree. Overall, not satisfied with our meal. Service is still good which is why I give a 2 star instead of 1.

Absolutely beautiful Dutch brewery, amazing service beautiful atmosphere 100% recommend for anyone after that kind of experience

Ordered the steak well done came out as if the cow had been out in sun and got sunburn I’m not a vampire I don’t like a river of blood to come out when I cut it would never recommend or will ever go back very unhappy

Not guaranteed to be GF ordered caesar salad no dressing to GF only to find slices of bread roll amongst my lettuce. Restaurants seriously educate your staff on the dangers of cross contamination and putting allergens on allergens free food orders.

The service from Andra and Svea was very professional and friendly. Thank you very much for a great time in Elmar's. We are lookung forward to visit next time.

Amazing staff, super friendly and helpful. We had the Mac and cheese, burgermeister and kids nuggets. All meals beyond expectations so delicious and filling. Nice clean bathrooms. Kids eat free Friday super affordable. We will definitely be back cheers to all
