Duxton Hotel Perth reviews
64A fabulous weekend getaway with friends was made all the more special by the care and attention of the staff. The facilities in the Club Suites were exceptional. The club lounge offerings we're very good and it was also great too use the lounge for coffee and relaxing during the day. Breakfast offerings were delicious. Special mention to Alex at reception and Cameron at Concierge for their superb service. Will definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel.
Hotel is supposed to be 5 star, carpet in our premium club room was disgusting and grubby. Food in the restaurant was of really low quality. On Friday night many guests were complaining about the very poor quality food provided for those paying a premium in the club only access lounge which I would agree was that of motel only standard. Hotel asks for an additional 5 dollars for items brought to you room like room service meals or an ice bucket. This hotel has lost its class, will not be staying again.
Standard room, stains on carpet & only toiletries for one person when there was 2 adults & one child.
I’m disabled & not once was I offered assistance, in the lobby checking in or during breakfast, when they placed us furthest away from the door & no assistance what so ever, very disappointed with our experience & would probably never stay again. Common courtesy (there was none) also found staff rude.
I’d definitely not call this a 5 star hotel shame on you all for not helping a disabled lady out.
Husband booked this hotel our room number was 311. (Dean Webster) was not booked in my name.
I love the buffet lunch at the Duxton. Fantastic value and super tasty food. The prawns are always amazing
Everything was good except when I went to check out, I found that I had to pay for 3 coffees that we had at breakfast because coffee does not come with breakfast! Doesn't make sense.
We went to the Duxton, staying in a King Club room for my husband's birthday. The hospitality shown to us was amazing. Joy in the dining room made sure we celebrated over breakfast with sparkling wine and a cake with happy birthday and candles on. Tomusz made my husband's coffee perfectly. My husband's words. A bottle of sparkling was delivered to our room. The hotel staff manage the covid situation extremely well. We couldn't be more pleased. Thank you Duxton and all your fabulous staff. You made our two days very special indeed
I was truly happy with my mini vacation break at the Duxton hotel. Finally, found a place where customer relations and service exist. Valet, reception, housekeeping, restaurant all gave friendly, happy, real, easy, comfortable, fantastic communications.
The room is stock standard hotel. The bed was comfortable the pillows were spot on for me. All bathroom amenities were stocked up and enough towels. Bathrobes were also there. This was great, no need to call up for more. The room was at a comfortable temperature so no need to adjust the AC.
Note: We had a complementary upgrade to a club suite which are Not renovated rooms but still super comfortable and clean with that old school feel.
Food outstanding restaurant amd room.service all the staff excellent service and beautiful smiles
The best hotel in Perth absolutely very warm welcome and big smile from every staff from porter. Front house. Restaurant and house keeping if I could I give 10 rating. Very kind and polite staff. Thank you very much for the best hospitality
The club lounge was so nice and the buffet breakfast is great. The staff were impeccable. Highly recommend as this is my second time here in 3 months.
Unfortunately our stay was NOT good! Arrived to check in & had staff offer to park the car. Checked in & went out for the evening to dinner (as was there with family - part of the bridal party). Arrived back at the end of the night to no hot water in the shower! Same thing in the morning. Advised staff as we were checking out & they stated we should have reported it last night. We were then charged $48 for valet parking. Not impressed. Didn't have time to discuss it as was due at the Wedding. Phoned later in the day & duty manager refunded the parking charge. Not good enough! Have been there many times & had previously enjoyed it, but last night was terrible! Not to mention being harassed by a drug addict at the front steps wanting money & cigarettes.very dissapointing, given I recommended the Duxton to make the night special. Bride & Groom had the same issues, so we were not alone. Obviously our feedback is not taken on board & therefore will consider staying elsewhere in future!
This is the 3rd time i had my buffet lunch at Duxton ️ love the vibes of the restaurant and services
The staff here are very accommodating and go out of their way.
My partner and I stayed here recently after having returned from the Margaret River. We had a few bottles of wine and the hotel staff went out of their way to help us ship the bottles back home.
They even went across the road to the local post office as we had already left!
They have accommodated all requests.
Definitely one of the nicer hotels in Perth city (aesthetically also!).
Would highly recommend
Has a wonderful couple of nights here in a King Spa Suite. Couldn’t fault anything. Their service was impeccable and the location is very accessible to everything Perth has to offer!
The hotel is beautiful and the staff is very welcoming! If you go, use breakfast there, it is highly recommended to have a cappuccino, really super super delicious! The rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. Great location, walking distance to beautiful parks and shopping areas.
A very quiet and clean hotel to stay. Very comfortable beds and great amenities too.
Staff are kind and nice too.
Love the location too and eateries not too far away.
I had the buffet breakfast. It was very delicious. So many choices. I love the potatoes and the egg station. One of the best buffet breakfasts I have had.
Beautiful venue, great staff, unfortunately food is a disaster. If you are gluten intolerant avoid the food here. Salmon over cooked and tasteless. Felt like Manu asking where was the sauce? Was hoping for a come back with dessert and a chocolate brownie. Epic failure. Couldn't get my fork through the brownie it was so hard and dry.
Good weekend get away. A little older but very well kept and with character. Front desk were warm and friendly, and the extra mile in customer service is taken. Beds are super comfortable.
This hotel is overpriced it's old and the rooms are dated and stuffy. The place is handy as far as if you were here for a staple wanted to nights as you can access with a public bus from the airport in either direction but for what you pay it is not good value for money at all
