Dutch Trading Co reviews
47Recently had my 30th here, I had a group of 25 people and everyone had an awesome time. The staff are super friendly and went the extra mile. They suggested beers that I would like and were on point. The smash burger that they make is truly amazing.
Had my birthday there. Staff helped with providing options and making the process easy.
The food was served on time and provided plates, cutlery & napkins for serving cake.
Everything went smoothly, the beer and the food were great.
Thank you.
Though there are almost 20 beers or close about on the tap.however with a median price of $16-$18+ for 350ml its not cheap. Lot of IPA's and some stouts as well with high ABV%.
They do have retail shop as well where you do get some rare varieties.pretty impressive.
But be mindful if you happen to open up one that you pickup from the fridge, be ready to shell out 6$ + for corkage fee! (That is pretty ridiculous!)
For a couple of beers spending $50+ is pretty steep IMHO especially considering you get some nice ones at Blasta, Belgium beer cafe, Running with the thieves or the likes.
Its a shame.as if they price it around 12-14$ mark that's when they will become super popular and have a greater patronage.
Bottom line: Not a great value unless they reduce the markup on their beers. But if you are there just to have a few 100ml tastings for a variety of beers then probably a place to be.
Every changing selection of beers, both exotic and local. Friendly staff and decent food. Tad on the expensive side though.
Some good craft beers but $41 for 3 schooners is a joke. Food was also overpriced all the meat on the skewers were tough and chewy. Cant even supply vinegar for the chips. What kind of kitchen doesn't have vinegar on hand?
Very knowledgeable staff and funny as! We popped in for a quick one after a live show in the city! Perfect for the winter evening our with friends.
I love how the beers always change but there’s always something there I like. Not every place that rotates it’s beers can brag about that!
Great place for an afternoon beer. For those that have kids the back area is great for them to get immersed in video games or push toys. Impressive beer list with something new you haven’t tried drink their list. Staff with great too and friendly. Wish this was my local. Would move locally just To have them as a local….
Absolutely the best Craft Beer Venue in the world. Very knowledgeable staff, great vibe, and the Double Smash Cheeseburgers are a must!
Went down to the Dutch Trading Co on a Wednesday night for dinner and it was a great experience. We did not attend the quiz night but it was popular with plenty of people in attendance. The venue had a great aesthetic and the beer wall of fame was impressive. The range and quality of beers on offer was great although a few had run out. My burger was really tasty although it was expensive for the size.
Easily one of the best range of craft beers in Perth. Always rotating and friendly staff! Food is on point aswell.
Beverages are a little expensive but the food is great and the staff is nice with prompt service.
Love this joint. Funny thing is I'm a teetotaller BUT it is very cool and the Staff very welcoming. Great to see beer drinkers just kicking back and chatting.
They have a lots of boutique beers and you can taste a small sample but to bitter for my taste, haven't tried the food yet
IPA time! The staff were so knowledgeable on each beer (all 25+ of them). Vibrant and welcoming venue.
Overpriced for the food. Very poor quality. Bitterly disappointed. If the beverage you want isn't on tap you need to buy it takeaway from their fridges and then get charged corkage
Very very large selection of brews. Some of the staff could be more helpful in helping you choose one, especially when it's not that busy and you are in the mood for something similar but not too close to your usual go to's. Ladies, check out the toilet decor!
Big hype before going, had been wanting to go for a while but dissapointed. The tap list was not as good as other weeks and the Smash Burger was dry and lacking in flavour, although grumpy old man behind the bar was a downer the other 2 staff were more up for a chat and a joke.
Free pool on a Tuesday and board games were plus, enjoyed the lucky dip take away beers for 5 or 10 bucks.
Large selection of drinks available with over 20 beers on tap. The food was nice but not overly remarkable with the burger not as juicy as one would hope and the chicken burger a bit on the smaller size. Overall we would go back for the beverages and good atmosphere.
I’m somewhat of a regular for a while now and I’ve always found their beer selection great and the bar staff are friendly, kind and hard working. The reason I’m leaving this unfortunately negative review is the quality and pricing of the food has gone downhill to the extent that it’s put me off completely. The portion sizes and quality of the menu has dropped substantially but on top of that I feel like the prices have hiked up so much that I just feel like I’m getting ripped off. The beer is already a bit pricey, which is completely reasonable considering the quality and selection but the food certainly isn’t worth the price tag
