Drip Expresso reviews
55Love the coffee here. Took a while (a couple of years) for lady to remember who I am though. But it's ok. Coffee and crew are lovely.
Nice little cafe. Had a bacon and egg sandwich with hp sauce which was tasty. A nice large cappuccino with a raspberry coconut slice DELICIOUS!
Placed order at 9am. Order was ready by 930am. Didn't get handed my cold chorizo omelette until 10am.
Amazing service, amazing coffee and amazing food! Had plenty of laughs with the crew being the new gym manager around the corner can't wait to make it my new regular spot:)
Coffee was excellent. Service was good. And my steak sandwich was delicious. Shady parking at the library.
Lovely, busy little shop with friendly staff and great coffee. The only thing that disappointed me was the "x" in "Expresso".
Victim of their own success - Always busy which means there will most likely be a wait. Coffee is ok but food is amazing. Would still go back again. Would avoid peak times though
Food was good but not awesome. Service was a bit confronting, as when we were there, there was a heated argument behind the register between the employees while I was waiting to be served, which wasn't a good look, and was pretty uncomfortable to witness. One was sent home.
I had ordered a smashed avocado, which was supposed to have an egg on it, but unfortunately that was not served, which may have been a result of the lack of staff and not able to make sure the level of detail to each dish was up to standard.
Loved our first meal at this cafe. Awesome food and coffee, heaps of gluten options and huge range of menu options
Small and busy on a Saturday.
But you can tell it operates really well.
There are so many things to look at in
Drip Expersso is filled with art and antique with Moroccan/ Middle Eastern flavour.
It also has a funky courtyard out the back
Plus The coffee is good.
I love this place, it has a vintage/steampunk sort-of style. It's quite small but a lot of 'bang for its buck'.
We are regulars at the cafe as their coffee is delicious and they have delicious food and cakes. The atmosphere is busy but quiet and comfy, I don't know how they pull that off.
The staff know us and know our usual order, that makes us feel really special.
The other day, it was crowded when I went to meet my partner there and I couldn't see him in the corner, I was just about to walk out when one of the staff got my attention and said "he's over there! " With a big smile, I turned and there he was. That made me feel cared for and valued. Thankyou staff for many pleasant experiences! I love all your paintings on the walls too.:)
I really disappointed in the morning. I ordered takeaway 2coffee and babyccino. I wanted to small size for babycchino. I paid and wait. I didn’t check my money. Then I asked them how much is that small size babyccino? They said $4.00. I said that it is so expensive, small size just warm milk and on the top chocolate powder that’s it. They said that we are using milk and powder chocolate so of course I know how to make babycchino. I understand they can be charge extra maybe $3 or $3.50 it should not be the same price with small size coffee. I got them and check babyccino inside just half milk and show them this is not full of milk and cost $4.00. They did not say anything to me, neither apologized nor compensated. This is not fair to be honest.
I love this little place, it’s great for gf options but I would like to just recommend to staff to put them on a seperate shelf, possibly up high as it was next to a muesli slice today that wasn’t gf! But beautiful cakes and coffee. However today the barista on duty whilst working on the coffee machine never acknowledged I or another gentleman who came in, I know we get busy and complacent but it’s nice to say hi. Let them know you see them as she was the only staff member behind the service area. A gentleman who came in later, obviously a regular she chatted to. It’s nice to have that familiarity with people but she made his coffee first which I felt was disappointing. My coffee was nice but the girl needs to be a little more aware.
My coffee is creamy yummy and delicious. The staff are all very lovely and happy people who are clever and even funny at times, too.
I enjoy sharing my quirky personality and am known by first name.
Congratulations on your highly successful contribution to our community. May you bless us with many many years of cheerful service and yummy yummy food.and lots more! Cheers, R
Hey, I'd be bias to say 5 stars, when I WISH That there were ten to give. CHAMPION EFFORT TO ALL.
Honestly the best coffee in perth. Effortlessly
*UPDATE*
7 months later.
Still the best coffee in Perth.
Beautiful setting but a big big let down on its coffee. Both our coffee served were luked warm and tasted sour. Food was good with nice plating. Hope to see good coffee in the future.
Nice food unfortunately both my first and second coffees where only warm at best even after mentioning that the first one wasn't hot enough.
Brilliant little cafe. It's a tad tight for seating, but the food and coffee is worth it. An absolutely delightful little gem of a cafe.
We were walking and stopped for a little snack. We got a gluten free brownie and it was the best I have ever had! I was surprised it was that cheap, only $4! It looked so good we didn't even take a picture and we ate it in 2 seconds. After that we decided to get more things and we got eggs benedict on gluten free toast. The bread was amazing! We thought that they made a mistake, so we double checked with the waiter and he confirmed that it's GF. We couldn't believe how good it was for being a gluten free bread! We were very full but when we left we decided to get a coffee too. Everything was so yummy that we thought that the coffee will be too. Of course it was, we got a flat white lactose free take away and was very nice. We totally reccomend this place! We loved everything and we will come back for sure! We want to try the rest of the menu.
Quite small
Great coffee
Nice and cool during summer
Came in at just before 3pm, everyone must've been tired.customer service was lacking
The girl who served me barely wanted to make eye contact
