Dragon Village Chinese Restaurant reviews
53 A semi local restaurant for us, usually we get as take out if there is an occasion but the last two times my partner and I have dined it and it’s was a pleasant experience both times.
Food was delicious, fresh and flavourful. It was even better than when it’s taken out, (but also great reheated as they allow doggy bags, win, win, win!)
The service was prompt and polite, restaurant is very clean and well presented.
Please choose to support local business over fast food restaurants. The skill and time it takes to run a business and one that serves tasty, healthy food options to the public in comparison to fast food chains, it’s better for you and them. Plus it’s nice to get out from time to time!
Dragon Village, I think, is a place that is worth going out of the way for dinner to.
The Sar Sar Chicken and a beef Satay are our favourites so far, a large range to choose from on future visits
Rude man, food was 2 out of 5, rice was 1out of 5, too many broccoli, won't be going again, stick to China Garden
Been coming here with my parents for about 30 years. We always love the quiet and friendly atmosphere and the food is really yummy
Still the most delicious Chinese - especially my childhood favourite sweet & sour pork.
Unfortunately, the taste in what I ordered, wasn't up to the true flavours of a garlic seafood dish. I could taste tomato sauce.
Absolutely awesome Chinese. This place never misses a beat! Great value and always well prepared!
Been the family go to for Chinese food for decades and has never let us down good quality good portions, decent price not much more you can ask for really
Revolting food
Young women at reception has a attitude and is rude
Won't be back
We have eaten here for 10 years with the standard slowly declining and a menu that never changes. The sweet n sour is awful with small pieces of over cooked meat and so much greasy batter. I spotted 2 small prawn in the combination fried rice. Big portions bursting out of the container but such a low standard, most of it has been left to throw away.
This is not a one off aberration, and I wouldn't go there if it was'nt for my wife loves the chilli chicken. I want to enjoy this place but frankly it is hopeless compared with some other local Chinese restaurants
We had to wait almost good 50 minutes for our meals to arrive. Apart from that the meals were not tasty at all. The combination fried rice was burnt. It tasted like Charcoal.
Dragon Village is a wonderful and beautiful restaurant! It is one of my favourite restaurants. The food is delicious and wonderful value, especially if you go with a group of friends. The decor and ambiance will transport you to a dramatic yet tranquil, elegant world.
Dinner at Dragon Village is a wonderful night out!
Been the family go to for Chinese food for decades and has never let us good quality good portions decent price not much more you can ask for
Ordered chicken and sweet corn soup. No flavour; was like water flavoured with half a chicken stock cube crumbled in. Also ordered garlic chicken. Very disappointing - in the whole takeaway container, there were only 6 pieces.of chicken, the rest was vegetables - I might as well have ordered a vegetable dish. Not much flavour either, unsure of where the garlic is! Don't call it garlic chicken if it's 98% vegetables. Absolute let-down.
Satay chicken was way to hot for us to eat.
The Mongolian beef was lovely. The food wasn't very tasty at all.
You would think I could have got some prawn crackers with my $100+ order, but no!
Disgusting satay beef, so spicy they should call it spicy satay beef. Honey chicken also disgusting, why do you give the sauce separately? So you think the honey is an optional extra? I had to spend 5 minutes tossing it around in a large Pyrex bowl I have to clean.
I'm convinced there are no good Chinese restaurants in the Midland area. I've tried them all.
Don’t have the satay unless you only want onions, even though I asked for none, yes a few token bits of chicken great flavour and a piece of lettuce and onions onions onions
Been coming here for years just love this place also 500m down the road for me, I have never had a issue meals are large full of favour being vegetarian theres a big choice.the staff are friendly and polite
Nice venue, food could do with a bit more flavour. Catering to the famous Australian taste buds too much.
They serve a great variety of Chinese dishes, always plenty and if you prefer more sauce you need only specify and they will be happy to oblige. My favourite is combination fried rice with sweet and sour pork.very good.
Food was good (although the sweet and sour pork was mostly just crunchy fatty batter), however I explicitly specified a seafood allergy and my partner is now violently ill because of seafood contamination.
Have been a customer of dragon village for over 12 years. The food quality has gradually gone down hill during that time and this is the 2nd occurrence of seafood contamination in the last 2 times we have eaten here.
Will not be returning.
