Great pub. Lovely helpful staff. Awersome comfy mattress and Donna. Plus, great food open late.

Rooms were so nice and clean food was good toilets were clean and smelt good, also the beds were the best I probably had my best rest there but my opinion bring your own pillow because they are just those cheep pillows

But every thing else was definitely worth 5 star just half a star until

Went here for lunch, Had encounters with 4 different people 3 of which were very rude, had a coffee that was burnt and didn’t end up drinking it, ordered a fire engine which tasted like creaming soda, when our food was brought out, I asked the waiter what our drinks were he said they were fire engines, I said to him it taste like creaming soda to which he replied “oh” and then just walked away, I orders the ocean and earth meal which consisted of chicken breast and prawns the chicken tasted like it had been microwaved and then thrown on the grill to sear, my prawns were slightly undercooked but were edible, we also ordered the steak sandwich which was soggy, we had just travelled from Perth so ate it anyway, would not recommend and highly doubt I would ever return for almost $80 for 2 meals and 3 drinks I would have expects better but unfortunately it was bad service along with bad food. Stopped for a cup of tea. People outside drinking and eating. Told not open for another hour. I was going to leave. "What do you want"? Unfriendly small Australian town. I even thought about staying but, NO! It looked pleasant enough. I'll give Dongara a huge miss in future.

Visited for a meal only. Service was exceptionally fast - had all our drinks, entrees and mains on our table within 15 mins at the most. Good portions & prices. Food was excellently presented and tasted great

Nice humble simple rooms, good quality and very clean, nothing over the top. Everything you need for a chill out stay is included, along with really nice beds and bedding!

We just had breakfast here with 5 people. The prices were fair and the food came so quickly. We had a complicated order and everything was perfect. The food was delicious. My father is the definition of a manic baby boomer who complains about everything, and he said it was the best breakfast he has had in 20 years since leaving the UK. Not an easy feat to achieve. Will be back when in town

Had a wonderful experience with my partner. The food and accommodation was above expectations but the staff were exceptional!

We had dinner at this hotel it was very nice, the venue was clean and the staff were very pleasant. Lots of parking but the drinks were a bit pricey.

Rooms were good

Wifi connection was not stable. Personally suggest should provide microwave and they should include pizza in the menu

Great Pub TAB with good restaurant and menu selection. Rooms dated but very clean and with comfortable beds. Budget priced and will stay again.

We travel for work and have seen a lot of country pubs. This one is probably the best. Excellent rooms and exceptional food!

Been multiple times and keep coming back whenever we can! Big meal sizes and consistantly delicious food each time. Service and time is quick in busy times. Always friendly and helpful service too.

Clean and quiet but bathroom a little dated. However, the meals were delicious and generous. Lots of locals dining there and we can see why. Very friendly staff.

Great service, lovely staff, brilliant menu options, best steak and peppercorn sauce tasted in a while!

Waited over an hour and half for take away. Rice was cold and lamb was only half a container, for $30 you would expect a full serve!
$20 for a special fried rice with dried chicken and 2 prawns!
Staff member who took my call twice was not very helpful.
Last time we ordered 6 months ago, the chips were missing and the chicken parmigiana was burnt i called in relation to the missing chips, I was met with a too bad so sad attitude and no compensation or apology was offered!
$50 for 2 dishes that didn't even feed 2 of us! Not value for money!
