Dôme Café - Port Coogee

I’ve never met rude hospo waitresses but today I did. Food was a bit off, like it was ordered as a takeaway uber food and it was assembled like one. Plus I had to wait 23 minutes for it, I could’ve made one myself at home.

Great location.
Counter service for Ordering very slow, although was with a smile.
The table service very sloppy, with both drinks - a coffee & a berry shake - both spilt and messy; no napkins provided to clear up the obvious spillage!
Disappointing service, however that didn’t stop my partner & me enjoying ourselves, and the location.
Work on the 'Service' Team Coogee!

Poor service waited 45 minutes for 2 hot chocolates and a plate of scones very disappointed won't be returning

Outlook over marina is gr8
Better than 5 years ago when it seemed trashed

31/07/2021 Got told the kitchen shuts at 4 and they wouldn’t serve us food, came back a week later at 315 and they said the kitchen shuts at 4 and wouldn’t serve us any food.

The meal was sub par. They made the avocado bacon stack but forgot the bacon so chucked it on the side.
You know when you look forward to a nice lazy breakfast so you pay someone to make it for you, but you could of just done that at home.this.
The oat milk chai was actually really good.

The people who work ther they are very nice

How long does it take to complete kitchen maintenance? The kitchen has been closed after 4.00pm at Coogee Dome for the past 2 visits. Today it closed at 2.00pm obviously it's open before, they just don't cook after.

The view is probably the only nice thing about this dome. Waited 1 1/2 has for a cold, dry meal with missing items. You can see the staff are run off their feet. This place is purely busy due to their location and insta worth

Beautiful views but unfortunately the food left a lot to be desired. I ordered a BLT. Bacon was hardly cooked and was cold. Hot chips on the side were just warm.

Friendly, efficient service, perfect spot for brekkie/coffee/bite outside whilst enjoying the great views over the marina

I like this Dome. It has a great posi looking over the marina. Even on a wet stormy day like today. It was nice to chill inside and have a nice eggs hollidaise and a cappuccino.

Great food and drink situated in a great little spot overlooking Port coogee mariner. Menu is a bit pricey but the food more than made up for it.

The food is consistently average and the wait times are way longer than needed. The saving grace is the view.

Honestly have to say that the cashier took several attempts at understanding the order (2 coffee's one large and xtra hot), only stamped our card once and after waiting for slightly longer than we would have thought it would take to make 2 coffee's the wait person jiggled the large mug as they were putting the coffee down on the table and spilled the coffee into the saucer. Not done deliberately but a very meek, oh sorry.
Love The Dome but can be a bit hit and miss at times.

We ordered our meals, my cousin ordered hers before my sister and I. Ours arrived first and so we ate, thinking my cousins food would come a few minutes later. We ended up finishing our meals and hers hadn't come yet. I stopped a waitress to ask her what was going on. So she went to check, she never came back to inform us as to what was going on. She carried on working, we had to stop her again and ask her. She said, "oh! That's right, I was supposed to tell you, there was no food ordered". Poor customer service.

Food was tasty, well presented. Staff did their best. However, the floors are dirty. Dust and dirt in all the skirting boards. Child's high chair, dirty with food particles stuck all over it. The brass "DOME" nameplate needs cleaning and polishing.

Lovely location. However disappointed that no muffins available at 9am, and croissant came without preserves. Had to request.

Slow service, lack of consistency, ordere came out in dribs and drabs, staf were incompetent in their role.
