Dôme Café - Applecross

Lovely setting by the river, quick service - even with a full cafe on a public holiday, great coffee and fresh large serving of cake.

Dome cafes are my second home. I'm always at one when I'm out and about. The Applecross is a favourite as its relatively small. I like it's cosy feeling. Their coffees and hot chocolates arr yum and they have a great selection of food and deserts available. Theres enough parking nearby for the number of tables inside. The staff are friendly and always greet you with a smile.

Dome Applecross is such a friendly place. The owners take a personal interest in serving customers. Coffee is good too.

Always good coffee. I've been to a lot of speciality coffee shops and they can be good (or bad) but you can never go wrong with a dome cuppa. Owners are always kind and friendly and know my order:)

We have been using the dome Applecross for many years and have never had a problem, very clean good food and the coffee is always great.and the owners are really lovely and friendly people.tables cleaned and sanitized after the previous customers go, very well run
only problem sometimes is that people with laptops sit at a table for 4 and hog that area for their own personal use, suggestion switch wi/fi off and on and they will soon go elsewhere,

I had vegetarian big breakfast.
I had poached eggs, baked beans, grilled tomato, mushrooms, spinach, wholemeal toast and a cappuccino.
I couldn't quite finish.
I felt great all day with plenty of energy and didn't feel the need to eat again until 5.00pm.
Do yourself a favour. Have a vegetarian big breakfast once a month.
You will be alert, balanced in your mind and have more get up and go than what you thought.

Always get great food and coffee when we come. Love the poached eggs - they come out perfect every time. Coffee is always good. Service is excellent. We will be back again.

We are frequent Domers and always get a veggie big breakfast with eggs replaced with avocado. The food at this Dome is always fresh, hot and good portions unlike others we have been to.
We always make an effort to come here even though we live 20 mins away because it's the best Dome around.
Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.

Nice and welcoming. Run by a lovely wife and husband team. Following correct covid protocols. Plus importantly the coffee is nice

Really friendly, helpful staff; nothing was too much for them.

And the food was, well, dome food. If you love it (and i certainly don't mind it), then this is the place for you.

My kids love pasta on kids menu. It is surprisingly each of them can finish pasta without any fuss and even asked for more!

Take away pie salad and chips.sooo good. And the service from lady was lovely.
It's nice to still walk into places where the staff talk and ask how you are.not just grunt.

The Risely street Dome is so great. The staff are so friendly! Had my usual waffles that make me sugar high and a vanilla thickshake. Great start to the day!

The staff listen and the coffee is better than the machine-made coffee at home. If you are into SCAA cupping scores then you might give this place a miss but let's face it - what Dome represents is a decent, reliable, portion-controlled product and not an epicurean experience.

The main reason I am giving this Dome 5-stars is on account of the excellent staff. Not all Dome franchisees are as blessed with great staff.

We have been coming here for many months we are cappuccino fans and the coffee rates very highly.we have always had friendly service from efficient staff. Good is good and the lime brulee slice excellent.

The usual food and drink offerings but what makes this place special is the chef. The food is really well cooked and presented.

Good vegetarian/vehan breakfast and they served good wholemeal toast. They were so accommodating, they swopped the eggs for avocado.

The food is great, but the service leaves something to be desired the wait staffs bedside manner is lacking and I had to wait 45 minutes for a BLT out of peek time which I normally wouldn't mind if you didn't have to pay for parking

I've been to better Dome Cafés. The lady finished emptying a bin and then came and served me without washing her hands. In today's climate that really put me off! Coffee was good, but ANZAC biscuit was stale.
