Dôme Café - Bunbury Forum reviews
53 Ordered smash avo and coffee. Ordering food from any dome is usually pretty standard, same quality everywhere. Except today.
Smashed avo looked sad. Not enough avo, salmon was half brown, eggs are obviously not free range and the amount for the price is insane! $22.95 for one smashed avo that doesn’t even touch the sides, the empty half of the plate should at-least be filled with salad.spent $65 for 3 smashed avo’s (pretty much just 3 pieces of flavoured bread.) DISAPPOINTED
Loved Dome, went for lunch for my birthday, staff were fantastic, food was well presented and was delicious. Highly recommend and definitely go again.
I ordered bacon and eggs with a side of hash browns. The hash browns were still frozen in the middle so the dish was taken back. Some time later the plate came back but now the eggs, bacon and toast were stone cold. I asked for a refund as it was already two fails. Not a great experience.
Absolutely cosy place in a busy mall, their shakes are delicious so does the iced tea but meals are bit expensive
Ordered bacon toast, side of baked beans and mug of flat white. Coffee strong and bitter bacon luke warm but nice and plenty of it nice they had hp sauce. One butter pack for toast not enough baked beans straight from tin would have expected home made for price.
Average
Stopped in for a quick bite to eat, but was left very disappointed. I highly recommend you take the time to go to the dome on the waterfront instead. I ordered a burger which came with a grand total of 7 chips and an unwashed glass with a lipstick smudge. Needless to say, I drank straight from the bottle instead. $30 for a burger with hardly any chips and an unwashed glass for my drink was very disappointing.
My Husband and I Went to the Dome for breakfast Scrambled eggs were overcooked and crumbling and served cold and toast burnt couldnt eat it really dissapointing won't be back left a note for chef on plate and told the waitress but no reply or refund offered
Average coffee, tastes burnt, meal portions are pretty small. $25 for a fisherman's "basket". Tables needed to be wiped down and cleaned between customers.
Attended this venue today for lunch. My husband ordered 2 coffees with skim milk, and salt and pepper squid with a serve of chips to share with me. Coffees arrived within 5 minutes. Food did not arrive at all. After almost 25 minutes, my husband queried our order and was told that they had no squid left. No-one had approached us to say that the squid was unavailable. He said ok, we'll have prawns instead and asked to speak to the manager. I guess it was the shift manager that came to the table, and we complained about the service and the luke warm coffees that had been supplied half an hour before. He asked who had served us and my husband indicated the cashier. He said that she would have told him it was a 20 minute wait. She had not (? We would have gone elsewhere had we known, and they did not have what we ordered anyway). Upshot was that we received the prawns and chips, and our cold coffees were removed but they declined to replace them, and said it was not possible. However, he gave us a $20 voucher to spend at any Dome. Weird. Would have been a nice gesture to offer us fresh coffee with our food - which we had paid for. Dome is out $20 and we got no coffee with our food.prawns were nice though!
Nice upstairs area, quiet and spacious.
Squid in squid salad was cold in the middle and possibly undercooked, 'hot sides' were also cold. Friendly and good service.
Good coffee, but you will be very disappointed with the eggs on toast. Take into account they charge $4 for and extra egg, you get 2 eggs and 1 piece of toast for $14 making it a $6 piece of toast and being as hungry when you finished as when you started.
We had to wait a while, but they were run of their feet but that was ok, none of the staff were standing around doing nothing.well done guys.
Absolute garbage …. $60 for two meals, I could count the chips I received with my burger on my fingers and toes. And my partners glass was disgusting, it literally still had someone’s lipstick on it…. Pick your game up Dome
I used to not be a big fan of Dôme but this morning I decided to have their Cuppa and Sandwiches for Morning Tea. This Dôme is probably the best one in Bunbury since the Koombana Bay one rather busy and difficult to navigate.
The Sandwiches I had were delicious but rather tall. My auntie who had ordered for my family requested that they not have Mayo in them but all of them had it. It was her problem though and I’m glad they had it since it would’ve probably been a little bland.
I was planning on ordering the Tea for Two but the lady at the cashier recommended that we order two single tea pots as the tea for two could only fit one and a half cups for each person. Turns out from my experience the tea for one had enough milk and water for 3 full tea cups for myself. Delicious cup of tea and pardon the soppy stuff but the tea felt like the chick who was the barista put a little love into it (probably just me though because in my opinion, she was quite cute)
I would definitely recommend going to the Dôme for any and maybe even every occasion since the menus are as thick as The Great Gatsby (in the best way possible).
I have also considered looking for a job there:/
Dome always give their customers quality and value for money, their staff always polite and clear in their communication with customer. I believe they stand alone, they have made their mark. Thank you for being here. Regards peter
As always excellent service and all Dome establishments you know what you can expect in quality and range of menu
Egg on toast - where could they go wrong? One, yes one piece of toast, barely toasted. 2 poached eggs - cold upon arrival and slimy. Butter sachets liquified. Tea came way too early. Dreadful. Won’t be going back. Overpriced. Dirty tables and chairs. Yuck.
What great service we got from Sophie at the Dome in Bunbury Forum. This kind of service definitely deserves recognition. She made sure we got our Avocado Stack exactly the way we wanted. Awesome service - Thanks Sophie!
Really nice meal. Made a minor mistake with our order but were quick to correct it. Great service and friendly staff
I must say 20 mins to get coffee an hour for meal 15 mins for a scoop ice cream is a fail in my Beek. Food average to say the least. I need to be honest. Coffee quality was good.
