Dôme Café - Bunbury Waterfront reviews
59If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Every time we have been to the Dome in Bunbury we walk away very happy. Nice full tummy because of there big serves, it is always busy but wow the staff is amazing. It seems to handle whatever is thrown at it. Our family were there on Monday to celebrate our sons birthday. The quality of the food is amazing and while you sit at the table enjoying every bite you are looking out accross the water. So many views. I would recommend anyone who is In Bunbury to go to the Dome for a pleasant experience.
Can not cook poached eggs. Paid $20 for two poached eggs, asked for eggs to be soft yolk, git served rock hard yolk. Told waitress, nothing happened told another, still nothing. 3rd time I've tried poach eggs here and all three times hard eggs.
Went in for lunch today. The food was served cold in the middle and my partners sandwich was tough/stale.definitely wasn’t worth the $80…Service was amazing though
Friendly staff, service good and food nice. Always go to a Dome Cafe in towns that have them. Would recommend this to all.
Like the dome and love the new location.
Will go in the evening when the weather improves.a bevvy and meal on the beach sounds lovely!
Big breakfast had perfectly cooked, bacon egg, sausage, mushrooms, hash brown, tomato and toast.
Great location on Koombana Bay. The “new” location and bigger venue give it a much nicer vibe. Menu hasn’t seemed to change in over ten years, and while the food is decent, nothing to rave home about.
Nice place with a great view. Have been a few times now for breakfast. Staff are very friendly and the food and coffee is great. Would visit again.
The best part is location; stunning views! One can still enjoy the surroundings whilst sitting inside. Food and drinks are like every other Dome. It's all ok but nothing special. Great for a quick coffee or relaxed lunch with kids.
This is a great venue with a gorgeous view and friendly staff. That's the best i can say though. I had their "special" potato rosti with poached eggs, bacon and wilted spinach. Sadly it was appalling and I only ate it because it cost me $20. The rosti was an insipid colour, luke warm and tasteless, eggs were okay, one soft and one hard so maybe they were covering their bases, spinach was cold! Won't be eating there again! Shame because the view is great and good staff. Coffee was good.
It's a nice location, and staff were friendly and efficient, but maybe that's where it ends. On Monday 30th May The food, in particular my wife's salmon, avocado and egg on toast, was quite small. She felt the salmon was one of the thinnest slices ever and the eggs must have come from baby chickens. My chicken caesar wrap was tasty, but at roughly $16 an interesting side of potato crisps gave them the option to upsell to chips for an extra $4.
Pleasantly surprised to see the new restaurant keeps with the Dome theme. Roomier than the old premises, with great food and fast service.
Cosy ambiente on a rainy day, close to the ocean with a great view! Food was rather bland and average, nothing special. Avo mash lacked the lemon juice and seasoning, fritter stack had a "pancake feel" with added flour. Great coffee!
I was very impressed with the service it so quick and the staff were friendly and the place very clean and I would recommend anyone to go there if you want good service
Service was slow, they were under staffed, said if they new we were coming they'd have put more staff on, we had notified them that we would be there
Paid 30 for wrap and a drink take away. The girl dropped my food and didn’t offer to replace it, just took it behind kitchen and gave it to me a minute later then walked away. Didn’t get my money back or a new wrap. Wasted 30 on nothing. Never going back.
Food was sensational
Pork sliders
Chicken parmi
Finished with cappucino
Nice staff
Good view of the bay
Things change and so has Dome, new place and now great coffee. A young lady named Dan made us the best coffee I have had in a long time, firstly it was "Hot" never ever managed to get a hot coffee at Bunbury Dome. Secondly Dan made a great tasting coffee, you could smell the rich aroma even before you tried it. Finally Dome have a real barista working at there, one who makes a coffee that the customer asks for, "Hot and Strong". Well done Dan.
Food and front area was fine but rest of the place was filthy. Time to clean mould off ceilings and dust near fans in bathrooms.
Ordered meal which was supposed to include poached eggs, came hard boiled first time so returned. Waited patiently for over 15 minutes to get served the same meal with eggs hard boiled again. Was no shortage of staff on hand or overly busy either. Asked for a refund and was informed it could only be cash only and not returned to same method of payment. Very disappointed in the service and quality of somewhere we used to consider a regular.
