Dôme Café - Byford reviews
36Absolutely lovely staff! So wonderful and kind to deal with. We had a wonderful time here on a Tuesday evening for dinner and coffee the place is stunning and kept so clean. The area is lovely too with plenty of parjubg available. We will definitely be coming back for future catchups and the food was great. Highly recommend.
I like they are open at 6. The place is nice and bog. The service is great. 5 stars for the dome.
Good to see this in byford
This is definitely one of the better Dome settings with good customer service and nice food quality.
Good service great design here lots of different spots to sit inside and outside. Easy parking.
A glass of Rose was not available because the tap was broken the night before. So I settled for a white wine. The waitress brought a WARM bottle and asked if she could add some ice. Where was the manager.if there was one.if there was.he or she wasn.t doing the job.surely part of the job is to make sure advertised drinks are chilled well in advance ready for purchase. The food left a lot to be desired. I don.t think I would be going back there anytime soon
Gorgeous interiors, disagree with previous reviewer - the club atmosphere here is far superior to other Domes with the fireplaces, furnishings and different corners to explore and choose your seat from.
Highly recommend this as a pit stop on a long drive for something fancy at cafe prices.
Lift access to second floor. Friendly staff, they manage to keep track of orders when busy and in a huge building.
Like the coffee, the blueberry cheesecake is excellent, the pastries etc. Good. I just wish they offered more variety in cake flavours- doesn't seem to change.
Very impressed, nice new building, friendly staff, good quick service, quality food and a full cup of coffee.
It is new and therefore clean and neat.l have not had a meal there yet so cannot comment about their menu.
Huge let down quantity of food is not consistent, useing less and less to save them money. NOT WORTH IT
Very disappointed this time at dome we go there regular coffee was lovely smallest piece of carrot cake ever
Dome is great but this particular building is probably the most impressive one I’ve seen - with its lovely internal and external balconies, cute fireplace library, conference room, museum including the history of Byford, and lovely garden surrounding the small creek running through the location. The owners have done a great job.
We had to clear our own table of dirty plates even though 3 members of staff walked past us, my meal was fine but my husbands bacon with his big breakfast was cremated and disintegrated as soon as he pushed his fork into it, the decor was nice.
This is, I'm sure, the largest building housing a Dome cafe I've visited. It's a magnificent modern building of exposed brick and zinc dipped beams. At the back (away from the S. W. Highway) there's a beautiful deck, shaded by the building in the morning, partially by trees in the afternoon. But somehow the "Club" atmosphere engendered by wood paneling and the leather seating in other Domes is lost here. Atmosphere aside, the coffee and meal service was good.
A beautiful new double story Dome building surrounded by some of the existing natural trees growing on the previous site. Many indoor and outdoor choices of seating, easy access from the carpark including wheelchair needs. The coffee and food is great and served by friendly staff. A bit hard to see but just off South West Highway opposite to the Bendigo bank corner turn off.
Decided to give the new local Byford Dome a try this morning as we normally go to Armadale Dome, and were majorly disappointed with the over 45 minutes wait time for our Coffee and Food.
Beautiful cafe in an awesome setting, however having trainee baristas on a Sunday morning & not the required number of staff to service a cafe of this size is amateurish management.
The food & coffee were good though so that’s a positive.
