For the price we paid, excellent. Large 3 bed apartment, older but in great condition, clean. After 4 days beach camping all we wanted was a shower and were able to check in a bit early even though room wasnt cleaned just to shower then went out and it was done. Great location will def stay again longer than 1 night

My husband and I booked to stay, very much so looking forward to our family trip. Covid hit and we went into a lock down here in the Perth and Peel region not knowing when we would be out or what kind of situation we were in for. We phoned Dolphin Lodge and explained our situation in the hopes of receiving our money back due to the unforeseen circumstance we were in. Management were rude and unhelpful and advised that no we could not have our money back and we would need to reschedule our stay, we did so and unfortunately the 2nd time we had the same issue! All we wanted was our money back due to the expensive price in which we paid. We have coped the worst kind of attitude throughout the entire experience, receiving rude voicemails etc. Extremely poor from a so called 4.5 star accommodation. Will never book to stay here again.

I stayed there for one night with a friend. Got a deal on booking.com. Amazing place! Very comfy bed and receptionist very friendly. Would go back there if I come back to Albany.

Our room was a TINY attic up a long flight of stairs. I had to move furniture to lay my suitcase down. Decor was clean but old fashioned. We arrived at 5.01 after a 4 1/2 hour trip. Reception was closed. We had to find our room. Our key was left hanging on the door. We paid $437 for each night we stayed. I was staggered as I was expecting much better. I’ve read previous comments and am confused as to why this place has so many good reviews. You can stay at Crown in Perth with breakfast included and valet parking for $434.00! Its interesting to see how negative reviews are received by management. Do we have another Basil Fawlty? !

Pleasantly surprised by the quality and spacious rooms for the price, totally can’t wait to go back.

I come to Albany fairly often and have stayed in many different places. Dolphin Lodge is now my accommodation of choice when I come to this wonderful town. Thanks David, the upgrade was totally unexpected and very much appreciated, see you again soon.

Stayed 3 nights for work. Lovely room, exceptionally clean and tidy with comfortable bed. Short walk to cafes, restaurants and beach. Will definitely come and stay again and next time bring my family.

So an update I've had my integrity questioned because it was booked in my partners name as I said the room was dirty and the decor dated I just called to prove my integrity and was greeted by rudeness maybe try taking the criticism and improve 350 dollars for a room that seemed like it was furnished from a charity shop stayed in Albany a number of times in beautiful rooms for much less with wonderful service

I highly recommend this place for small families, it's in a nice area, near the beach. Reasonable prices and friendly service.

Had to change this to a 1 star, why are you naming other guests on my rebiew. Rude.
If you look through your reviews you'll see that there are plenty of people complaining about the disgusting apartments close to the fish n chop shop. Maybe do something about it.

We had a great time staying at Dolphin Lodge over the weekend. Very helpful and accommodating staff. We really love the location that's super convenient, really close to town and also only a few minutes walk down to the beach! Nice room and very clean. Decent size too.

BEWARE, This place may scam you! When checking in I was informed the account was paid in full.the same was said upon departure. My fault for not asking for a receipt, but I wasn't offered one. I booked through a third party. After leaving there was an unauthorised charge on my credit card. I queried this and was informed the difference was the "Expedia" commission! This has never happened to me before and is bad business practice.

Pretty amazing. Value for money, extremely clean, relaxing, home away from home. I was a bit confused as to where the unit actually was on arrival; I just put it down to being tired from travelling. The traffic was a bit noisy until about 9pm, but it was a Saturday night.

A beautiful setting just a few metres from Middleton Beach. Well cleaned facilities. Home away from home.

Very nice, a cut above the quality of the usual room. Self contain apartment had everything you could need, and the jacuzzi was a nice bonus. The only minor issue was dead batteries in the remote control, but that I'm sure would have been resolved in an instant if I needed TV. Free wifi was more my style.

Great place to stay with family or friends.
Rooms are beautiful and beds are specially comfy. I strongly recommend place.

Really great accommodation, would definitely stay again. Easy check in and out. Appointed with all amenities you may need, full kitchen, really comfortable couch with a decent sized TV to chill out. There was parking available each time we came back from an outing. Great area, lovely to just drive around and look at the nice houses and views. Not too far from the centre of town, a quick 4-5 minute drive.
The only small issues I could point out would be that we were at the top of the stairs and unfortunately people felt the need to stomp up them (nothing really the owner could do about this) and one of the towels smelt a bit (not a big problem as we had a two bedroom so had extra towels to use). The bed was quite hard which I mentioned at check out and was told he would look into it. This would be something that would be hard to "get right" as everyone likes different things. I'm sure some people would prefer the firm mattress.
