Discovery Parks - Bunbury Foreshore reviews
73Just stayed last night 8/7/22 @ Discovery Park in a cabin. The place good and clean, the cabin is new and look immaculate, but the only think I don’t like is one of the tin fly in the cabin itself is not securely nail. It’s too noise and we couldn’t sleep much I will include a photo or video so you will find it out. And I hope that’s the only cabin is got a problem. In that place.
Beautiful spacious clean cabin (sleeps 6), everything we needed was there. TV in living room and main bedroom. It was new and they hadn't had wifi installed yet. Very comfortable, great place to retreat and rest after our busy schedule in Bunbury.
Great location. More expensive than similar caravan parks (I assume because of popularity and location). Clean and well maintained
Nice well kept powered site with ground mesh on site. Has a swimming pool onsite, bouncy pillow and skate track for kids so bring your scooters. Shower /toilet room could do with a bit more lights. Tent sites were along the main road and can get quite a lot of traffic noise when trying to sleep. Location is very good as it is just across the road from beach and a short walk from the city center.
Great place to stay. It is clean, tidy, well looked after, great location, close to town, good service amd a walking distance to Taffy's lolly shop.
Great family experience. Location is great. Can walk or bike ride into Bunbury. Short walk to Dome cafe and more. Beach front full of wonderful swings, bike, skate track.
Overlooking the water from some chalets. So much for children & adults to do at the
Koombana Caravan/chalet park.
Very clean & secure.
A few things could be improved on:
Sunday night we decided to have a bbq near the camp kitchen.
One bbq was out of gas and the other one was so slow, we finished cooking in the chalet. Very disappointed.
Early morning walks observed 4, /5 sprinklers not working or working incorrectly. Whether bore or main water it's a terrible waste of water. However the grounds are kept beautiful.
Hired tantum bike for the afternoon. Very big and old fashioned but we coped we this. However the best was broken which made me keep slipping forward which put strain on the chain which kept coming off.
Very disappointed. Upon returning the bike and explaining to staff what happened, I believe I should gave been refunded my money. Only had it for an hour and some of that was spent putting the chain on.
Overall the holiday was wonderful and can highly recommend
Koombana Caravan Park/Chalets for a holiday.
Awesome Park, clean and green, only complaint pricing is way, way over the top $55 for unpowered tent site on grass for one person, one night.most caravan parks I go to cost $25 to $35 per night
Booked 2 nights in a challet, very clean, had every thing we needed lots for kids to do and play on, pool etc
Staff friendly and helpful, met a permanent resident who had Christmas displays and lights everywhere,
Just a great experience all round
Good park and to be fair the noise policy is 10pm however it was 10;30 however the person that claimed to be assistant manager was very rude towards us it would’ve been fine if she was polite in the way she asked us to quiet down but instead she started yelling At us
Quality park in a great location near the beach and town. Good sites. Quiet. Pool. Friendly staff.
Shamefully small sandy tent sites. We paid $53 a night with neighbours tents literally touching on both sides. If you can't do it right, just don't offer it!
A beautifully run caravan park, very neat and tidy, great amenities, has a pool, extra large bouncy pillow, and a scooter track, right near the beach and close to city center.
We really liked this park. It's set out very well, there's loads of space. The sites are level & spacious, there's lots of shaded grassy areas to play ball or frisbee, a tennis court, pump track, pool, games room, jumping pillow. Plenty of BBQS spread out, convenient camp-kitchen, and spotless amenities. And the staff are so friendly! Plus the beach is just across the road with another playground and cafe.
Nice Park. Have visited numerous times with our van. Fees had risen by $18 per night since our last visit in May. Very disappointed.
Great value. Clean with all one needs. Some with decent views. Pool and playground.
Walking distance to pubs and restaurants. Perhaps a little far for walking back with groceries.
Staff is helpful and go the extra mile to assist with enquiries. The accommodation is clean and gardens are well kept. We stay at Discovery Foreshore twice and both experiences were a pleasant one. The ensuite for powered sites are clean and spacious.
We are a family of 5 and both toddlers and teenagers had a good time. Even thou there isn't a playground on site there are two options near by, one on the beach and the other near the boat ramp direction. The fact it is a close walk to town appealed to my older son. I would gladly recommend it to friends and family.
Good morning all. For a quick getaway try Bunbury Foreshore Caravan Park. The stes are perfect and the chaplets are just right.
Wonderful vidy weekend for 2 or a family getaway. We loved it and we will be back. Just perfect for our little home away from home.
Thankyou Bunbury Foreshore Caravan Park.
Also the ladies in the office were wonderful and helpful.
Many thanks definitely will be back and have told our friends about this hidden gem.
Absolutely beautiful park all amenities are great great location freindly service, dog friendly
We had a powered ensuite site easy drive thru site only negative thing I can say is it's a little pricey other than that definitely recommended
Ok but Maintenance needs more attention otherwise comfortable and adequate but overpriced sites.
Been to this place a few times and stayed in chalets, this time took the caravan, booked with ensuite luckily.stormed all weekend!
