Discovery Parks - Bunbury Foreshore reviews
73Guest constantly have bikes stolen when staying here and operators are not doing anything to stop it happening or to inform guests that they have a thief n their books. There would have been atleast 30 bikes stolen in 2023
Stay here every year. Sometimes twice a year. The location and facilities are top notch for families. And as a bonus it’s only a 2.5H drive from Perth.
Amazing accommodation. I was so impressed when I walked in. Everything you need is in the cabin. Full range of cookware, crockery and cutlery. Spacious and very clean. Check in was a breeze and staff were exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable.
Wonderful staff our car broke down we were stuck here for 4 weeks the staff did everything to accommodate us so we were able to stay in the one site for the entire time can not thank them enough
Had an ensuite powered caravan site. Beautifully kept & well equipped park. Great location & can walk to the beach, estuary & town centre
Great location. Walking distance to the main strip and even closer access to the beach. Surprised how clean and spacious, clean and modern our cabin was. Overall pretty decently priced for all the rooms and beds. Internal doors were a bit thin, but everything was otherwise good.
Lots of facilities for the kids too: - pool, tennis courts, giant jumping cushion.
Had a coffee van come in during one of our mornings there too.
Good clean rooms, parking is very tight and the park isn't very caravan friendly for a caravan park.
Have ensuite site. Nice and clean. Not impressed about being moved mid stay. So someone else could have their preferred site
Caravan stopover in Bunbury. Great facilities, very centrally located and on the waterside
Always awesome. We stay most school holidays either with our caravan or in a cabin. Friendly staff and great facilities. We always enjoy the kids activities in January. The water park.mangroves and jetty are our favourites.
We have always enjoyed staying at this park but this year we feel let down. The price has gone up but the park has gone down. The lawns around the site are brown and sandy, no one has been monitoring the pool or the noise after 10pm and so there has been so much anti social behaviour. A gripe we have always had with the park is the lights that stay on in each site that is meant to provide to security but shines in our vans all night so we have to shut the van up to get some sleep and thus provided a great opportunity for our belongings to be stolen while we slept. We’ve stayed in better maintained parks that cost half the price and if your going to pay these top prices you might as well stay in a quality park like Mandalay that provides for what it charges.
Great place, especially for kids.close to beach and town.
Booked to go again with grandchildren.
This place is a cracker 200 meter walk to a fantastic beach. 10 minutes into our favourite bar Mash Brewrey.
Amenities brand spanking new grounds are amazing around in ship wreck cove in the new caravan first trip out if this is what retirement is like sign me up baby
Nice location but a lot of people said they had stuff stolen. From guitars to camping chairs, we even had a bunch of food stolen from the kitchen fridge the night we put it in there. I would not recommend staying there unless they fix their security issues or you have good security yourself!
I left a day earlier as didn't feel safe. Lots of things stolen anyone can walk in and help themselves. Not even a courtesy call from the manager. Never staying there asain. Bunbury a lovely place my experience at Foreshore Park left a negative feeling.
Great park located in a most wonderful area with sea on one side and estuary on the other side, well layed out park and fercilitys.
Great park for families, have stayed multiple times but unfortunately not a very secure park. The general public use the facilities as they wish and items from neighbouring caravans were stolen. The park could definitely do with more staff presence. Still a nice little getaway
Poorly maintained park.
Toilets not cleaned on multiple nights.
Rubbish not removed from the kitchen for a number of days until complaints were made.
Toilets were out of service.
Shower heads were falling off.
Toilet paper was not topped up by the cleaners.
Bathrooms generally messy and unhygienic.
BBQs are portable units that had been removed and were not available for the first few days of our stay.
The park boasts about the newly installed water playground, but has forgotten to maintain the basics you're paying for in this type of place including a clean bathroom and kitchen.
Location a+. There is a definite lack of staff.cleaners signing off on roster but not actually doing any work over the weekends
Brand new section to the caravan park. Amenities are clean, and enough of everything provided. Camped on lawn close to amenities. Within walking distance from city centre for an evening out. Cinemas, skateboard park, Dolphin Discovery Centre within walking distance.
Not a huge fan of caravan parks but this one got top marks.
Bunbury is the 2nd largest city in WA with 80,000 population - definitely worth a visit.
