Deep Water Point Reserve reviews
48Very nice, very busy. The food came out quite quickly considering how busy they were. The staff were friendly and helpful. Considering how busy they were, the place was clean and tidy.
I did not know this park existed. Very well maintained visually, right beside the Swan River. Easy access. Public toilets although I did not go there. A nice place for a walk with views to opposite side of the river. Lots of children happily playing and walking under appropriate supervision. I could see a very interesting building hiding behind trees on opposite side of the river. Was told it was Aquinas College. The architecture caught my interest. Be free, enjoy this destination.
A great place to spend the afternoon paddleboarding or just watching the sunset. If you are lucky sometimes dolphins can be spotted in the river. I love to walk or ride around the 6km loop formed by the path crossing Canning Bridge and Mt Henry Bridge. Also checkout the hidden Art Gallery underneath Canning Bridge
Very beautiful location. Great to walk along or have picnics there.
Magic views. Years ago I used to water ski here.
This is the best and biggest Dome Cafe in Perth. Great for everything and All ages including little toddlers.
Dome being there has improved this place and made it a convenient spot for many who go for walks to have a coffee stop or a meal. And it's a beautiful place for families to have picnics and where you can launch your boat.
Lots of space inside or out overlooking the river. Can always find a quite spot somewhere to read the paper whilst you wait for the friendly staff to deliver your order. A favourite of mine to meet friends and teach Italian conversation.
Super busy in school hold. Parking and coffee shop chaotic. Beautiful spot if you can get parking and don't have to wait to 30 mins for a cuppa!
Fantastic location, just a pity the place is always crowded, i was on crutches and had to stand around until a table became available. Needs to be some order for table queuing- first come first served controls.
On busy days there are only limited car parking spaces due to sharing with boat-ramp users.
Deepwater Point Reserve is such a beautiful place. A wonderful place to enjoy a picnic close to the river and to soak in the scenery. Fabulous.
A nice place to sit and enjoy the swan river. Beautiful shady trees. Good facilities. Beware of the bull ants though. Parking can be a bit tricky at times.
Popular and well-kept riverside park with a small playground and cafe. Apparently this is one of the only sections of the Swan River that allow full speed water-based vehicles, so there are many Seadoos and ski boats zooming up and down the water.
Beautiful. Publicholidays need to provide extra parking like other venues. Open up grass areas with good planning and supervision. Visited here on the 1st and 26th. Janu jan. Januar
As to be expected for somewhere popular with jetskiiers it's a bit noisy and smells of exhaust fumes. Not much in way of playground for kids. Think there used to be one but maybe got removed when the cafe turned into a Dome. All of this is assuming you can park your car. Which is near impossible. And they even have parking inspectors patrolling on Sundays for anyone not sticking to the rules. I suspect all the parking gets filled early in the day.
Nice for a walk along the shore though.
The place itself is nice, perfect for swimming and boating activities or just to have a BBQ/picnic, plus it's topped off with a Dome Restaurant. The only drawback is that there's about 50 car parking bays and maybe 35 car/boat trailer bays and of course half of Perth want to go there on the weekend, so you end up doing laps waiting for a bay to become available or try to park ½ a kilometre away.
Went for dinner with friends. Sat outside overlooking the river as the sun went down. The food was pretty good and there were a couple of nice wines on offer.
The highlight was having one of the best wait staff I have experienced in a long. Would definitely recommend for a casual meal out.
Glorious walk with the sun reflecting off the water. Bosts bobbing about. Schools practising rowing. Watching the train in the distance. What more could we ask for on covid world.
Nice park and area for a day by the water, severely let down by abysmal parking on a nice day, there are a fair few bays but they full up way too fast and you need to park far away.
My dog Bento loves this place, the first time he went here he ran past us when we went to pick him up. I think he didn't want to come home.
They offer services of washing him and clipping him which is handy.
We do not experience any guilt leaving him here, he gets to socialise with dogs and swim in a pond, he is always so tired when he comes home.
It really is his retreat.
Feel water point reserve is a beautiful place to spend with family with dome a few steps away a playground for kids and a BBQ area a family fun and friendly reserve against the river for an amazing view
