63Had the souffle pancakes for brunch, presented nicely and tasted amazing, friendly service. Have also been here for dinner and also had a really good experience
Super friendly staff, nice chill vibes. Was very busy but we were served fast and had our coffees brought out straight away, which made up for the wait for food. The souffle pancakes were amazing! The BV breakfast was decent.
The cocktails are fabulous! Loved the birria birria and the cauliflower wings. Friendly and attentive service. Looking forward to returning.:)
Friendly staff. Tried their jalapeno poppers, crispy and definitely has a kick. Their smokey beef brisket is amazing, tender and flavorful, good pickles, nice fluffy and toasted buns.
Wow this place is lovely! Was just walking down Albany HWY this morning and noticing very little cafes/restaurants open (WA) and stumbled into a big breakfast here with an OJ!
Everything was delicious! Restaurant is beautiful and quaint and the waiter extremely friendly and attentive
Definitely recommend this place
The cocktails ans food here are to die for. We have been several times now and cannot get sick of this place. Fabulous service with great wait staff
Really slow brunch service, then waited an hour for the food which was bland and under cooked. Very disappointing. Won’t be back!
Celebrated a special day with a bottomless High Tea at Decanter in Victoria Park. Food was delicious. Wines were amazing. Staff were friendly and attentive. Nothing to fault. Will have to return to order of usual menu
Good kind of simply yet good tasty food, although my partner hate so much the burger because sloppy however just him! That's how burgers looks like when it comes like a tower! But credit to the burger bun the texture not mushy like other places this is because the baked in house. My prawn chile very good I wish the price slightly lower for $22 entree n 5 prawn 2 sliced bread is a bit expensive. I will go again for the breakfast or lunch.
Went for the first time today for lunch, food was great, clean and friendly atmosphere and the staff were so nice! Definitely coming back.
Absolutely unreal pancakes, probably the best pancakes I've had, and I've had pancakes in Amsterdam! Hardest part is getting a table without a booking, just because they are so busy!
Was really looking forward to dropping into decanter as this place has been a favourite of ours. Really disappointed. Wee did not have booking sowe sat at a random table with high stools the table was vey woobly table. Menu was so small was very hatd to read in dim lighting. It apears there has been some changes
We ordered pork belly bites and fries
Pork belly taste was ok but presentation was not nice. Usually come sout all in one line this time they were randomly placed. Fries came out with gravy which we did not order. On menu we realised after there was fries with gravy $12 or fries with ketchep $8 not part of old menu.waitress didnt ask but gave us the more expensive. The gravy was smokey and horrible. Fries had changed and were in a tiny basket with no salt. Not enough for 2 people. We asked for salt as there was nothing on our table. The salt shaker let out 1 grain at a time. Would sadly no longer reccomed this restaurant and it was a favourite for a number of years
DOG FRIENDLY (some seats outside).
I've been for brunch and dinner and enjoyed brunch more.
The pancakes were great as a shared meal with something savoury. Had the birria birria but it was very oily and not too flavourful so I'd try something different next time.
Went for dinner as well, they only had limited amounts of the smoked meats. I was able to order the spare ribs but they were extremely fatty and I couldn't finish them. The top part looked and tasted very burnt.
The others had burgers and they looked good although extremely meaty - which I'm sure some people would really like.
Dinner on Saturday night is really busy and it took about an hour to get our orders. They had a few great non-alcoholic options.
Really tasty food, accidentally ordered the wrong eggs Benny so will need to come back to order the right ones! Everything was very tasty and staff are friendly too. Only negative is that there was not a lot of kids food options, ideally my little one would of just wanted eggs on toast or toastie, and the cocktail we had was tasty but a little too strong. But definitely a place I will be coming back to!
Had a Bloody Mary and the Avocado and Mushroom dish with some added smoked salmon. Both items were very good however my dish came a little while before my partners (who had a caesar salad with grilled chicken, which was quite light on the lettuce compared to many CS's I've ordered) and we weren't given any cutlery. The woman that seated us was lacking in warmth a bit as she served us however when our dishes were cleared the lady who saw to us was very pleasant and chatty. Overall a good dining experience and the Bloody Mary was very impressive.
The souffle pancakes were perfect. I've never had pavlova on pancakes but it was delicious pav. Also the venue is gorgeous and the waiter was lovely and attentive. Definitely will be going back again:)
Been wanting to go to this restaurant for a while now but what a downer it was. First ones to get a table at 5pm and ordered starters and the main course. Note on the website when booking says 90 mins limit to eat so ok that should be enough time for meals with desert which we were especially looking forward to. Hadn't even finished the starters when the main came out so felt we were being rushed so they could get the table for more customers. In the end didn't feel like having the desert and left restaurant after only 45 mins. Food was ok but there are plenty of restaurants out there that won't rush you through your meal. Won't be back
Visited Friday the 13th at 5pm
Really nice vibe, slightly expensive but food tastes amazing, birra birra is something everyone should try
I hate to only give 3 stars as my previous visits have been amazing, albeit two years ago. A date night for two with a reservation and we were seated at a tall bar table which was more suited to having just a drink and not a meal sampling a bit of everything. Literally so close to the next table we were worried we would elbow the patrons behind us! Staff lovely, cocktail delicious and Mac n cheese on point. Brisket sadly had a diesel infused kind of taste to it not sure why or how but really really awful left after 30 mins very disappointing.
Amazing food and service. Definitely recommend making a booking as the place tends to get booked out during peak times. We walked in during an odd time (change over between lunch and dinner menus and were offered a table but with limited menu options). Worked out great for us as it was nice and quiet but this is something to look out for:)
