Dan Murphy's South Fremantle

Been a customer here for years but won't be spending any more money here after our run-in with the rent a cop guard Muhammad. Guy demanded my wife (35) show her passport which she didn't have and proceeded to treat us like common crims and force us out the store. Used to work security myself for years and have never seen such behaviour. Won't be coming back again and have lost our business for good

Prices not what they used to be at Dan's.always used them but will start to look around for some deals on line.

Unbelievably useless service. Ordered delivery because I didn’t have time to head in store (the entire point of delivery) - then spent hours trying to get hold of a person to find out what happened when it didn’t show up within the timeframe I paid extra to ensure. 4 hours later was finally told that ‘it is at the discretion of the store’ to get in touch with updates on delivery. What was the plan? You just keep my money and never deliver what I paid for? Very frustrating and won’t be back!

Very friendly and helpful knowledgeable staff. Very large selection to choose from and every beverage you can possibly think of for any occasions. Highly recommend this place for your next gathering

The security guard taking his jobway to seriously, waste of everyone's time and loosing your business money. Wednesday 26 Jan 2022. Regular customer won't be coming back here.

Bought something yesterday, the lady said that the first and second transaction didnt get through so need to do the third one n it finally got through. To find out all of those three transactions were actually got through (called my bank to confirmed this). When there today to get their assistance for refunds. The manager came to me (named Allison), the most rude person I've ever met at dan murphy. And when i said i was disappointed, she told me "well if that u wanted to behave". What the? Thx Allison for the worst costumer service!

It was a busy morning in this place. There were lots of customers searching for the right spirit for the spirit of Christmas. I could hear laughter and cheerful chatting, smiling faces but hidden under the masks. Lots of varieties of items were sorted and arranged by types for easy identification. Helpful and friendly staff. Ho Ho Ho. Merry Christmas mate! Cheers! (2021-12)

Dan Murphy's Fremantle is one of our favourite go ‍️ to liquor outlets, staff are cheerful happy and always will to help. This attribute will definitely assist with purchasing of supplies.

To the tall guy glasses at the front door/“manager”. If you’re having a bad day better take day off. Extremely rude and racist. Please do yourself a favour and get yourself a job where you don’t have to interact with people. Never coming back!

Don't catch the manager on a bad day, was in a good mood then went out with a ruined day.

Other wise beers were good can't go wrong with the selection.

Have been coming to this place for over 5 years now and the one time my fiance forgets her ID she wasn't served. Me as her 37 year old partner offered to get it as I had my ID and we were denied service. 5 years as regulars and the server had served us both before. Taking my business elsewhere

Great store, very helpful team, have to try one of their tasting soon!
There is a rack of older vintages, found a few wonderful bargains there.
Worth driving out of your way to come to this store.

Good store, good choice. Unfortunately I avoid it now, because the contact registration (the SafeWA QR code) is completely ignored by most people entering the store. It's the responsibility of the store to register its customers.

Appauling customer service, even for WA stndards. Visit any other Dan Murphy's store and the staff are friendly, attentive and helpful, not at this place. I think management might have to inform some of the staff that without the customers they won't have a job. It's not play time, it's work!

Need help with the perfect wine for any occasion. Ask for (French Patrick.) such a gem.just a wine experience talking to him.a fountaine of knowledge oui oui.

As I waited at the counter ready to pay for my bottles of wine I had to wait for the two staff members to finish their personal conversation, after a minute or so the young behind the counter decided to do her job, what she was being paid for. No wonder people prefer to shop online these days.

I cannot speak highly enough of this store. I have been a customer for many years since they opened, and have noticed in the last year that the customer focus has crept in. Every time I visit, without exception, the staff are exceptionally helpful, interested, and knowledgeable. Malisa, their Wine Merchant, is outstanding in the time that she spends, ensuring I get the right wine every time. She listens, and delivers every time with her vast knowledge and outstanding attitude. And when I go through the checkout, I am always greeted with a cheery greeting and a smile.even the occasional compliment.:) These people really know how to treat their customers.

I pruchased a bottle of Australian Rye Malt Whiskey for a friends birthday. They were on the shelf with aa price tag of around $54 or so. Not just one on the shelf but several were there. I bought some other items and paid at the checkout. Staff were friendy - no problems there.
A couple of days later (after sharing some of the whiskey) I took a look at the receipt (should have done this in store!) and was shocked to see the whiskey was actually $120 a bottle!
I called Dan Murphys to expalin but was told there is nothing they can do about it as it had been opened. All this bcause is the shef labelling being incorrect. I always look at the whiskey and check the price tag on the shelf that lines up with the product. I seems this time they had the wrong label in line with this whiskey.
Not too keen on spending another dollar in this shop again.

Dan's always has a great selection and didn't disappoint when we were looking for a certain cider.
The staff are always pleasant and willing to help.

Every drink, wine or spirit you are looking for.if it is not here.probably is not in Perth. Staff is very helpful and polite and tries its best to satisfy your queries.
