Ok food but really bad service. The lady who serves you never smiles and does not make you feel welcome. She was really rude to some customers in front of us but my initial reaction was those customers must have said something. The chairs are of very poor quality. All the furniture feels very dirty.
Not going back for food.

We had their combo rice and tandoori chicken basket. Their lamb korma was beautiful and delicious. They have a good selection of curry and bread. My personal fav is their tandoori chicken basket. Beautiful naan bread with moist chicken. Their price is affordable and service is friendly and quick.

We had a group of 10 for dinner at 7.00 pm and all enjoyed the food but were all taken aback when we were asked to leave at five past eight as soon as the bill was paid, as they wanted to clean up! This, even though closing time was advertised as 9.00 o'clock and it's not like there was a demand for tables as no one else was waiting to be served. Sadly, after a tasty meal, this poor display of etiquette left a bitter taste in the mouth!

Hi Owner of Curry Affair, thanks for your response to my above post. I do not see how there could have been a misunderstanding as your staff member clearly came to our table and requested that we leave as they wanted to clear up the tables, and she then walked away since there were in fact no dishes or plates left on the table at this time. There is obviously no need for us to leave in order for the plates to be collected as that happens without any obstruction to your staff all the way through our meal. Disapointing, and hope it does not happen again to spoil what was otherwise a good meal!

Ok food but bad service. The lady who servers you never smiles and does not make you feel welcome. (this is mentioned in numerous other reviews) The chairs are of very poor quality and are very wobbly. I could see that some of the chairs have had a very dodgy fix which indicates that the management already knew that the chairs were a safety issue.

Yesterday I had a meal here and the chair I was sitting on the leg snapped off and I feel on the floor and the pane of glass on the table nearly slid off the table onto me. (I am of slim build and not overweight)

As a result I injured my upper arm and shoulder which is making it difficult to do my job as I can not lift anything at the moment. The staff showed very little compassion for my welfare and I was not offered a complementary meal or even an apology.

Also the wall behind the counter has white marks where the paint is missing because the staff have been hitting the rice serving spoon on the wall to remove rice from the spoon. The front door near the handle has a filthy brown mark that has been there for over a year which would indicate that no Covid deep cleans have been conducted. I am sure the Health Department would be very interested to know this. I have attached photos to show that the door is filthy and extremely unhygienic.

I will be recommending to all my friends to avoid this OHS nightmare.

Such a humble little store with absolutely amazing food. Staff have always been so kind and generous. I've never been able to finish a meal.

Naan is freshly made to order, great selection of curries, and as mentioned before great portion sizes. We have only been twice and have already fallen in love with their food. If you like curry, put this one on the must visit list.

I am a big fan of curry but not chili.which is very conflicting but Curry Affair does a great Lamb Korma that is fantastic for people and children that cant deal with hot spice. Their curries are very authentic, slightly pricey but for the work that goes into these curries, I understand why. I can pay around $25 a get a couple of meals out of each curry. Big thumbs up from me!

Don't normally leave reviews but tonight was the final straw. We really like the food here which has kept us coming back for years, normally we get the meat combinations but over the years there has been less curry and more rice, 20% curry 80% rice. Tonight we tried something different and just bought one full dish of Potato Bhaji, got home and found a giant green elastic band in it! Sorry Curry Affair but it's going to take a lot for me to come back there.

2 bites and in the bin. Naan bread no flavor and over salty. Two mains were salty and like water and nothing like the meals you'd expect. Rice is dry and flavorless. Avoid this place at all costs. Clearly they have no idea what Indian food is.

The best tasting Indian north of the river (haven't tasted it south) small eatery but very friendly staff. Only thing to sook about is, too much rice! More rice than anything else.

Got free pappadums and the girl basically risked her life bolting out to our moving car to give us the salad we forgot so would give them a 11/10 for service but 5 stars will have to do.

Not a very pleasant meal. Lamb korma and butter chicken had no flavour and both sauces were very watery.

We've been coming here (Malaga) since 2012 and we think it's by far the best tasting / quality Indian cuisine you can get in Perth if not Australia. If there is any criticism it would be the unusual location and small dine-in restaurant size, but none of this takes away from the wonderful food and warm friendly service, we've never had a bad experience in our 9yrs of patronage. Highly recommended!

Went for the buffet but as a customer you cant access the food yourself. It was a little frustrating having to explain what amount of food I wanted from the server.

Got beef vindaloo from here on Wednesday and I'm sick as a dog today. Should have known there was a smell off the beef. They must have known it was off but used it anyway. Will never eat from here again. BEWARE.

Went 2 nights ago and ordered the butter chicken. The food was cold and tasted like it was old. I took a few bites and threw it out, wont be coming back.
