CROOKED SPIRE COFFEE & ART HOUSE reviews
71My favourite Cafe in Midland. Different, quiet, pleasant staff, a good selection of food and great coffee.
Unusual arty serves good coffee and cakes large area with little pots and hobby type things for sale adjoins performing arts centre Midland
Brilliant coffee, food and atmosphere! Love this place, best thing is the custom breakfast menu and big servings.
Thanks team, I'll be back for sure.
Good service, welcoming staff beautiful surroundings, and great coffee.
What more could you ask for?
Awesome space and really friendly staff. Great coffee, food and delightful gifts and trinkets. Love this place!
Awesome customer service and loved the coffee. Thanks Mike, Varouna and the team at Crooked Spire.
Very nice ambience. Big cafe with lots of parking.
I did like the coffee however it's not yet a 5 starts for me.
I love it.its great and the food and coffee is amazing.its also nice to go because it feels nice to be there.
This is an interesting place.
It is a cafe with a variety of food and beverages. My mocha was delicious.
There are plants, crafts, books, mugs and other items for sale.
There are old leather/vinyl couches and stools with table and coffee tables of various heights.
The cafe has access to an arts area and a room for meetings etc.
When I was there, it was quiet and easy to hear your own conversation but spacious enough that other conversations were only a murmur.
Great coffee, rich aromas circling the air in this Classic Cafe that is full of nostalgia and ambience
Amazing customer service great for all culture respectfull of religion tht don't eat prok products?
Good coffee, food, service, location but it doesn't need me to recommend it given how popular it is. A slightly quirky place which adds to the attraction. The music could be a little quieter but its fine for the younger patrons.
You can buy takeaway or you can dine in, it has a good variety of food to choose from and it also has a good variety of gifts to choose from
Expected more to be honest.thought we'd have a look as our regular is Bolt and we have heard good things.but.coffee was milky.no punch.maybe a bad shot but on that id find it hard to go back.
A very spacious and comfortable space. The coffee was good but I didn't try the food. More than happy to visit again.
I ordered the veggie breakfast and it was awful. The toast was cut super thinly (0.5cm) and it was hard, more like eating crackers. Bake beans were from a can. Tomato was barely cooked through. Spinach was unevely cooked too with no flavour/ seasoning, felt like someone just put it in a microwave for a few seconds. Basically not something I would pay ~$17.50 for.
They have absolutely great coffee and great stuff to buy. Including some great ice pops for summer! But when I ordered my ice chocolate it took 20 minutes not because it was bussy, but because they forgot my order. So they had to ask me again what I ordered which was an ice chocolate which is simple and quick to make as I have made one myself. It then took less the a minute. They either need better communication or a better system because you shouldn't have to remind them what you ordered. Was distracting but the ice chocolate was delicious and they did apologise
Beautiful breakfast with hubby. Veggie breakfast for hubby and smashed avocado on GF bagel.delicious.bit busy but spare seats
Friendly service. A funky spot, unpretentious, with great coffee. Can get a little noisy when busy, but overall highly recommended.
Look, I WANT to rate this place higher, because I love the vibe and the difference they offer, but to be blunt the place was filthy. We moved from our first seating because the couch was covered in bits of food (recent and old) then settled on a large middle table that was dirty and sticky the whole length. Both of us had sticky forearms when we left from sitting at this table. When front of house is like this, you wonder about the back.
The staff are lovely but the muck was a real turnoff.
