Corfield Fresh IGA reviews
33The 5 stars is for Shane one of the Managers. My wife went into the store tonight just to get us some chocolate. Saw a special on and proceeded to the checkout. Once there the products scanned at over double the price. She advised the clerk they were 2.50. He was on his own and after he looked around for any help my partner offered to get the ticket to show him the price. When she returned he went on to serve someone else. She waited again and when she produced the price tag he said no that offer is finished. The date said till the 4th. Today is the 4th! He refused to honour the price and said someone should have taken the price tag down. She left and came home upset. I called the store and spoke to Shane who expressed deep disappointed to hear what had happened and said the price should have been honoured. My wife went back and got her goodies. I know it's a sounds minor but 2.50 as opposed to over 5.00 each. That's a huge saving. We shop at our IGA almost daily and support local business. Thanks Shane for doing the right thing for your loyal customers. You still have some loyal customers in us.
Awesome community Store. The butcher is hands down the best for miles. Keep up supporting the local community guys, you are part of the fabric of change.
The reason I don’t shop at IGA Corfield is the garlic and chilli is sold in styrofoam containers, not loose, so they force you to buy a lot when you only need one or two. It’s a shame as I had to find somewhere else to shop.
Plenty of parking and easy entrance to the front doors. Staff seem friendly too. There is heaps of space to maneuver in store for wheelchairs. No public toilets.
There is a wide range of products. Good for those who like to shop one day to the next.
A convenient small supermarket to make purchases from while waiting for nearby take away food outlets. Spacious parking close to shop entrance and often has good specials.
Rarely does this store offer bargains (they are few and far between) and the regular produce is way overpriced. Good for an emergency shop only
Good staff, good variety and prices. The fresh fruit and vegetables produce is limited but good quality. I rated 4 star instead of 5 because the meat from the butcher is of a low quality.
Bought 5 items at the store. Got home, 3 of the items were out of code, mold on the cheese slices, bread out of code and mold on the Helga Wraps I bought. There response, 'oh I can't see anything here out of date'. Have been going there for years but recently this has happened on a few occasions so will not be back again. Avoid if you can, the quality control is non-existent.
All the staff are amazing, never had a problem here. Will continue to shop here for a very long time
Nice but small IGA.
I feel like it's always dark inside, but I do come often anyway, because it is convenient.
Not the fisrt preference to shop. Place is not appealing. But staffs are always nice and friendly. Pop in occationally for eggs, fruits, milk, and flowers.
Very limited variety, but good opening hours and very friendly staff. Would come again if I was desperate.
Dingy old iga that you only go to late at night or because it's closer than Coles and Woolworths, not a place for ya weekly shop, you may be asked for change or a smoke upon entry /exit
