Core Cider reviews
73 We went as part of a large group and all ate the two course set menu ($45p.p). Everyone was happy with their meals, the crispy skin salmon and Panna cotta were my choices and were excellent.
The service and atmosphere was very good, the staff were polite and helpful.
I tried all their ciders and liked the berry and seasonal the best. Will definitely return to this beautiful little cidery! Worth a visit.
Wow. Beautiful place with amazing view, great play area for kids. All good but.you can only order a drink.no food as kichen is overload. Has been told that need to come back after 10 min to order. Lined up and been asked to wait another 10 min. I am so sorry u definitely can do better.
This is a very good place for families and friends! Live music, great food, decent wines. There is a playground for children.
Still Great, no suprise their still pulling out all the stops to create a great experience loving the new solar shades can't wait till can get up there next for a ice cold traditional cider
We visited Core Cidery on Easter Sunday afternoon. The venue is lovely. Great for families. The singer was brilliant. The apple cider was nice. The outdoor area food is not good. The $25 chicken and bacon (wouldn't have known by looking at it) was diabolical. The worst pizza ever. Coles frozen pizza is better. Such a shame as the venue has so much potential.
Went to Core today for lunch. We were told they only had a set menu so we were not going to stay but we were told we could order a main for $25 or entree for $15 so we decided to order 4 mains. When we paid they charged us $35 each. Not happy as we wouldn't have stayed if we knew it was $35.
Nice place and I enjoyed the afternoon in the sun. The cider is good but commercial, but I might be spoilt as I am from Somerset England
Stopped this afternoon with the wifey. Given a great table upstairs. Drinks came promptly. Waited approx 30 min. No one came to take a food order. Paid and left. Complained to the cashier who apologised. Very dissapointed. Left hungary.
I dined at Core Cider's tasting house. The view of the farm and meadow was amazing, complementing the natural, open air seating set in a cozy wood and glass house.
The menu was unfortunately much smaller than I thought, offering only 2 mains. I did not know that the real restaurant needed a booking.
I was then shocked to find that my food's portion was very very small. I understand that this is a tasting house, but I left hungry.
However, the food was heavenly. Even with the high prices, I highly recommend the food here. Especially the encore apple juice, which is very affordable at $7.50 per bottle.
Core Cider is hands down the best in the Hills. Staff are so friendly and so many areas to sit, eat, chill or dine. Absolutely obsessed with their ginger cider & the views speak for themself, rolling orchards and so much shade to have a picnic. Family friendly venue with a kids playground and old farm tractor to play on also my kids got to go on the Apple express tour around the orchid to go Apple picking which they absolutely loved! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend! 5 STARS!
Not much choice for food outside, but absolutley great cider,
Had the tasting paddle and then a couple of the ginger ciders
Nice place. Foods good. Cider is good. Only thing is the amount of plastic they use. Everything comes in a non reusable form “bio” or not it’s still not reusable. Cutlery, cups, food trays, all go to the bin. Please buy a dishwasher:)
Has been one of my favourite wedding venues to play at for the last 7 years, great friendly staff and wow can the turn up the design with the right help
Nice cider, cocktails are not that great. Food is OK. Would definitely recommend for cider lovers and if just wanting to have cider in a peaceful location. The view and area is beautiful.
Lovely surroundings and the live music was pretty good. However, the queue just to get a drink and then the queue again for the ice cream. That was pretty bad.
15 minutes at the bar then another 15 waiting in the queue for ice-cream for the children.
Had lunch there Sunday 26 May, and even though they were very busy with a wedding-day promo, the service in the restaurant was still great, and the food excellent. Staff are very welcoming, and oh so slick! And if you like ginger beer, try their "Rusty" beer, but be careful, its 8%!
Had a lovely day outside in the garden, all the staff were friendly and helpful. The pizzas were great and the whole atmosphere of the place and the views are amazing. Looking forward to spending another day there. Thank you Core Cider.
Great Welcoming staff and a great outlook from their restaurant.beautiful food and well priced. Great car park and easy access.
A true gem in the hills. One of the premier Cider houses in Perth. Awesome grounds that are suitable for families to have picnics, or for a romantic date for two. With two bars, a restaurant and a small cafe you can order from they cater for all visitors. The cider flavours and varieties are amazing and delicious
Lanii and the team were great during our wedding on April 12th 2019. All our guests commented on how great the food was on the night and myself and the new wife were very happy with the set up and running of it all. Lanii was awesome during the lead up to the wedding and was always happy to change whatever she could to accommodate us.
