Colliers International / Cygnet West

I've been a tenant at 110 cambridge street west Leederville, which Colliers supposedly manage since October 2018. I have never experienced such poor response to problems such as lighting, hot water failure, false fire alarms in store rooms and now lifts which have stopped working completely for days.
I would have thought there would be people on call 24 hrs to fix these issues and sadly it seems not to be true. I would never buy into this complex which has so many good things to like about it under this management team.
Maybe the owner occuppiers are to blame as well as not sure who cares
about the urgency of these issues. If someone could only use the lifts because they were disabled, they would have been a prisoner in their own building.

I’ve been dealing Jayd Rich for the past 6months as a tenant and have been very impressed with her work ethic & support. She has always addressed raised issues in a timely and professional manner (even outside of normal working hours). I have never received support like this from previous property managers. I have recommend engaging Colliers to others solely on my experience to date with Jayd.

After recently selling my house and deciding to rent while looking for a new home, I was worried about the hassle of having a landlord again, however, I have been pleasantly surprised. Fay and Esther from Colliers have been excellent due to their professionalism and support. A great team! Thanks!

Initially my experience in the first year with Colliers International wasn't great, they kept on getting new property managers to replace previous ones. After one particularly bad inspection (who I suspect didn't even bother to take notes since I asked for evidence which he couldn't provide), Colliers finally found a great property manager named Sam Orely. In my years of renting Sam has provided the best level of service and care that I've seen from property managers. Unfortunately Sam left Colliers, but luckily her role was filled by Fay Saunders. Fay has also been super helpful and friendly and has continued to provide an excellent service. If Colliers Internation can bring in this calibre of talent and retain them they will continue to do well in the future.

Esther is prompt, easy going, and has quickly resolved all my queries and apartment work requests. It’s clear Colliers are a notch above the rest in the real estate game.

Colliers have been my property managers for about two and a half years, and their friendly, can-do attitude is eclipsed only by the utterly fantastic service they provide.

Alyce Sutton is our property manager and Alyce is so great to deal with always polite and straight to the point in getting things done, she always follows up with a phone call to see how everything is when a job is finished, great staff as well all great to deal with.

Poor service.the firm constantly flouts the Strata Titles Act, selectively, vexatiously, frivolously and unreasonably penalise home owners whom they dislike, and charge exorbitant fees that they are not entitled to charge

Been under their strata for a few years now and was good start with enough supports received but recently their communication seems to be different, feel little condescending and lack of respect. We pay for extremely expensive strata fees every 3 months and even they are charging us more and more, although I don't see any improvements at all and nothing feels like worth paying for.we have absolutely no choice but have to pay. Show more respect and don't be so rude. We don't work for you and have no idea how the things works. Please be kind to everyone who PAYING you.

The property management team is great, and efficient! Fay Saunders is super helpful and friendly! Esther is also friendly and nice. We are happy to have them as our property managers!:)

Useless agent ever.

We lived apartment through the Colliers for 3years.
There are some reasons why they are so worst company.

First of all
They couldn’t handle their payment system.
I never ever delay my payment, and I’ve got reminders many many times.
After they founded that first rent fee was cash (They didn’t believe me so that I had to show receipt of that), they stopped to send me without ANY OF APOLOGY.
During that time manager was changed 3times, I always contacted them when I got the reminder letter. Once I was so annoyed about this I had to come at there and explain. Because nobody contacts with me.

Secondly
When we moved out, the last manager Fay Sanders wrote about remote-control air conditioner was missing. And they charge $150.
The thing was my husband and I checked carefully and we had a picture.

But she didn’t even mention regarding this one at the final inspection. After when we get the bond disposal form, she already deducted money from bond fee and sent us of course without telling us.
Moreover it happened after 7weeks since we move that apartment.

So we give it up about that money.
I really wanted to report these situations to the consumer centre, but we were so sick of it. And it could take time more than that longer time. It was just waisted of time.
It was the worst moment living in Australia.
It was Terrible experience with paying $150.

So if you have chance to read this my bad experience consider about this agent.

Alyce Sutton is respected by Pauline and I as a conscientious Property Manager. Always pleasant and respectful and sees to priority jobs ASAP. We hope that she will continue being our property Manager we have never known better. Again on 22 January 2019 Since this post we have had another emergency and this was dealt with very efficiently by Alyce with grateful thanks after the air conditioner broke down.

Alyce Sutton is a very friendly and helpful property manager. She is always very prompt in responding to any difficulties and problems we have had.
She is pleasant and very approachable.

Truth be known, I wasn't always satisfied with the services provided by my previous property managers. The one and only reason I give it 4 stars is Sam Orley. What an absolute gem to deal with. There are many other clients who speak highly of her and she more than deserves it. Hard working, passionate about her job, doesn't mind going out of her way to help her clients. Top, top property manager and I can't recommend her enough.

As a tenant in a Main roads property for the past 12 years, I've seen many property managers come and go from different real estate companies. Without doubt, Alyce Sutton from Colliers is the best I have dealt with. She has delivered on every promise and responded with pragmatic solutions to ongoing problems in a timely manner. In fact, if it wasn't for Alyce, I would have moved out. Great work, please keep it up!
