Coles Kalamunda reviews
39 This shop has improved immensely.
Good stock levels, I find I am shopping more often here.
More staff around also.
Prices are. Competitive
Much the same as High Wycombe Coles except High Wycombe has an average of 4 staffed checkouts and Kalamunda averages 2. Even today, post Christmas, High Wycombe had 5 staffed checkouts.
I provide a one star rating because the system does not permit a lower rating.
Coles has been cashing in on PR releases promoting their social care image by declaring an hour of early opening to assist seniors.
I attempted to shop at Coles Kalamunda at 10: 00 am today (Sunday 21 March).
The store was closed and an employee advised (through the roller doors) that the store would not open until the normal time of 11: 00 am.
Discussion with others revealed Coles had not opened for the "seniors hour" yesterday either.
To say I was not happy is an understatement.
I have exercised social responsibility by not shopping unnecesarily.
Today was my weekly shop.
Coles failure to open as promulgated led me to shop at Woolworths Lesmurdie.
$213.00 later I departed with my needs catered for.
For other shoppers please do not be duped.
This corporation makes money on their public profile.
They promulgate a warm fuzzy policy then gain increased sales regardless of fulfilling their commitment.
Why should I return to shop at Coles?
It is about time the big players were held to account.
It was crazy! There was a full rush this morning over hand sanitizer and toilet paper! I wouldn't blame the staff but there were just about 100 customers️
Tidy clean good staff. Well stocked. Well lit. They need to improve varieties like choice of flour with tartaric acid for self raising flour.
Lovely staff. Fresh produce. Can get what I need every time I go in the store. The only thing I sometimes can't get is the garnia hair colour 10.
Personally I don't enjoy shopping at Coles because I find that the fluoro lights and low ceilings make it feel very tight.
It's a nice big supermarket with los and lots of choice food to select and fill your shopping trolly with.
Friday afternoon and people queuing at the 2 full checkouts and the 2 fast checkouts (for 12 items or less). Queues at the self service checkouts too. As Friday afternoon is generally busy, more full service checkouts should be open.
Adam who is one of the Trolley men from Coles Kalamunda does a truly outstanding job! Adam is smiling hail, rain or shine. Nothing is too much trouble for him. Adam loves his job and we can all take a leaf out of his book in regard to work ethic and having joy in our workplace. Adam makes sunshine wherever he goes. I am recomnending him for a customer service award and bonus!
I typically come here after 6pm due to working - the nightfill staff and their manager Nathan are super helpful. I never leave without anything missing on my list. I always have a pleasant experience visiting the store.
Descriminates against students entering store. Not a happy parent and you’ve lost our business,
Good range but the fruit and veg get tired quickly when you get home, better off buying from fresh food vendors
Lots of shoppers, lots of the Christmas things I wish to purchase had gone, run out ofittle shoppers I am still one short, with the help of 2 different staff members I found the dijon mustard and wescobee apple cider vinegar with honey bottom shelf pushed back it could not be seen.
I think our local product need to be displayed front and centre. A shortage of cashiers, 2, for very large trolley loads, many customers waiting not happy.
If coles want more opening hour they need to employ more staff.
Good quick shop. But not the item I wanted. Jasol cleaner. They use it but don't sell it to public.
As far as main chain supermarkets go. Coles Kalamunda is certainly one of the better ones out there. 9/10 times I can find what I need, they have a good range, friendly staff, and lets be fair John. I've never seen them with less than 3 checkouts open.
Coles have a great range to choose from in the Kalamunda Central store with basically whatever you require.
Probably the worst Coles in Australia. Constantly running out of produce, one cashier open and all self checkouts closed during the closing time rush and a general run down dirty feel. Complete incompetence by management.
Walking distance for me.therefore always shop there. Reasonably stocked and I always find what I need. Fresh produce not always the best.however I go to the Farmers Markets on a Sunday. Friendly and helpful.
