Coles Inglewood reviews
53 I’m so disappointed with the new self service checkouts for large trolley fulls. The week before Xmas and they only have one check out operater serving people with full trolleys. The rest of us had to use the hideous new checkouts. There is nothing more exhausting then shopping and then having to unpack and, scan and repack you’re own full trolley. A multiple billion dollar company can’t afford staff, what a joke and this is not where customer service should go. Don’t be so cheap and don’t pretend it’s to keep your prices low.
A poor older lady behind me was so upset and nervous that she had to scan her entire trolley. I felt her pain the poor thing- absolutely ridiculous there is no service. I’m 40 and didn’t like it along with the 70 year old next to me. The line for the one and only checkout operater was too long but if I bother going next time I’m lining up for service
Easy access to the shop. Ample open air parking.
Bakery is scattered with some of it in the rear corner diagonal to the entrance. Must be a bolt on where no space was available. Getting back on Beaufort street south bound is a minor hassel. Just needs patience. Prefer to go here or Maylands than any other coles shops.
Great selection of groceries, excellent Deli section and a lot more Inglewood Coles offers a top shopping experience. However the carpark need work, some drivers seem to ignore the large arrow on the ramp. Others will pullout of their spot with no consideration to on coming vehicles or pedestrians.
Great supermarket with an excellent deli counter. Always good service and great staff.
Still the best one around here.
This is our go to Coles, they are always well stocked, friendly staff clean and great produce
To Ella who usually is staffed on the self-serve checkout bit at the front - I hope you know your kindness and warmth for customers and your excellent customer service does not go unnoticed! You always contribute to a pleasant grocery shopping experience with your welcoming presence and big smile. Keep killing it!
Steve is my favourite Pharmacist! His advice is always helpful, always look out for Steve! Confident with all his advice, great Asset to Amcal Chemist
My pass on my phone wasn't working. I said I would drive home and get my physical card or go the atm and a young boy staff member basically said I wouldn't come back because I don't have money for my groceries and I do this all the time he shouted at me in front of customers. So I came back within 5mins with $500 cash and gave him my idea of what is acceptable to say and what is not
The staffs are always friendly and helpful, always plenty of stocks, sometimes if not on the shelves, always in the storeroom, just ask the staffs
Great selection of groceries, excellent Deli section and a lot more Inglewood Coles offers a top shopping experience.
My favourite shopping stop. Has everything I need. Convenient. Friendly staff. Lots of fresh produce. I have never had to return anything because of poor product.
The coles brands are very tasty. Coles is my preference store. Luv ya Coles
Love the shop and what not, but farrck moii! The manager needs to open the person operated tills! It's 6pm at night and I'm making dinner along with half of perth. No one wants to fudge around with bagging struggles on the self serve. Cmon. Other than that 4/5 star:)
This shop is nice, and have so many great products but need more cashiers on the tellers. Also they need to be more friendly when we buy so many things and don't screw their faces, some of them anyways.
Great selection of fresh and frozen vegetables and friendly helpful staff. Basics such as milk, toilet paper and processed meats in good supply.
Appalling service.
Refused assistance with a charity fundraiser after I had waited 2 weeks for them to respond to my form that I was asked to complete (understandable given Covid etc.) BUT then when we ordered the bread for the sausage sizzle (paying full price for it) they didn’t have stock, so they substituted with cheaper stock which was on promotional price at the time - BUT REFUSED TO HONOUR THE PROMO PRICE because it’s a ‘substitution’.
I wouldn’t be so disappointed if it wasnt for a charity fundraiser event.
This used to be my favourite Coles supermarket even before the ‘upgrade’ due to its being a stand alone store. Unfortunately it has declined customer service wise. They really push self checkout in that store, but I stopped using it because it was just too hard; their security checks are so dumb, offensive and obvious, it was just easier to go through with a cashier. However, you will be penalized for your choice and be made to wait AGES as they have very few staff on checkouts.
Also, from experience, staff are either snarky and rude, or just weird and robotic. Not pleasant. How did corporate manage to screw up what was the neighbourhood fave. Dumb.
I went to Coles in Inglewood for the first time yesterday, and I am so jealous.
Why do Inglewood get a bit of Coles than us in Maylands?
This store is such a better layout, it has more options in the deli and it has a real butcher, it has a bakery……. It even has human beings a check out for when you have a whole trolley…. AND you can freshly squeeze your own orange juice….
I am going to drive further to go to this Coles from now on.
Maylands needs a serious revamp if this is now your standard.
Disappointed with the customer service, a item was a certain amount but there was a promotion sticker I the door at a cheaper price, I asked the staff and was just told sorry that promotion has ended
Yeah it's a good Coles. Pretty chill. Easy to find products. Only problem is commonly homeless loitering in the entrance way begging for money. Otherwise good
Asked at bakery to slice my loaf. Was appalled to see her take bread with bare hands. Both she and supervisor said that is Coles standard. Why? I can't wash my loaf like I can the meat, veg, fruit.etc.if Brumbys can use a plastic bag to handle, so can Coles. Won't buy any bread from Coles in future.
