Cohunu Koala Park reviews
66Really enjoyed the day well priced but felt very sorry for the dingoes there enclosure was badly neglected and cockatoos need more toys there cages were to small the park is a little run down and it showed in some of the animals enclosures staff very friendly hope they receive more funds to build this park back up
Although we didn't have much time there, we enjoyed it very much! The parrots there were so talkative and friendly. They couldn't stop talking to us "Hello! " "Hello, darling! " so that we enjoyed chatting with them. The other animals there were also very friendly even the ostriches! I'm sure you can enjoy the stay especially with your kids.
Depressing place. Old, small, looks deserted, little plants. Shame.it has potential.better to go to the zoo. Cost a bit more but what an easthetic difference and experience.we wont be back.
Only place to see close up Koalas in Perth. For extra payment you can hold and bleed a Koala too.
Also most other Australian wildlife can be seen close up. Kangaroos, wallabies, dingo, echidna, pelicans, geese, emu and ostrich, ponnies, alpaca and lots of native birds, peacock, parrots, some even talk.
A good place to bring visitors from overseas.
It's a beautiful park, lots of animals to see kangaroo, echidna, emu, parrots etc. Its a family and children park. My 5 years old son had a good time. He loves the mini train as well. Some statue like humty dumty and dinosaur. A talking parrots which I love it. And the donkey very friendly. Diffinetly I will recommend this park.
Lots of fun. Definitely worth a visit. The interaction with the animals is great. The cockatoos have quaint english accents. Hilarious could of spent all day with them, and of course there's the giant quokka.
Its good for children to experience various animals.and we can possibly touch them.all they are not in the cage.interesting~
but a lot of poo (trap) on the way to next place.
I actually steped on poo.it was weird.and
if you bring the pram.its better to wash off the pram wheels later on.its a real wildlife experience.but
you can take pics with very cute koala.
Actually not bad.
The animals there are really nice and so are the staff this is also the only place you can cuddle a koala but you have to be 140 cm tall its a real shame that there going out of business but I would definitely recommend it
Koalas were very active and cuddley! $30 for a photo session and can hug and touch koalas. Cockatoos were cute and would say hello for food too. Just the other enclosures like llama and donkey were dirty and full of dunk and flies. Overall it was nice.
Funtastic place with almost all Australian animals in one place with possibility of holding koala and take many memorable pictures
Fun times for families and friends.many varieties animal and good events. Recommended to bring own food and do picnic with families. Parking is limited especially during school holiday or high season. Better to come early and parking fee is reasonable.
I have been many times to Cohunu with my family. Its my 8 year old sons favourite place we've been going since he was 6 months old!
Everytime we visit theres something new to see this time we saw salt water crocodiles cool.train ride is fun is not over priced awesome family fun. The cockatoos are a hoot!
Nice place to visit, you can see Koala and Kangaroos, you can touch them and play with them too, and many other birds, you can take photos with Koala, but if you decide to carry and take proper photos you have to pay 30 AUD
Lovely little place with lots of free roaming animals. Plenty to see here and great for kids - many animals are farmyard types such as ponies, donkeys and pigs, but there's also dingoes, kangaroos and crocodiles (don't worry these are in an enclosure!). Koalas are fun to hold and the staff are very knowledgeable. Free for under 5 year olds. Great place to visit for a couple of hours!
Allow more time than you think. Plenty to see and do. They di not have food for sale so pack a lunch.
Icecream and refreshments available.
Have Sunscreen. And have fun.
Great value and take the train ride.
It’s a small park. Quite a distance from city center. There’s afew koalas there. Paid to cuddle one. Was a very good experience:) Small little animals here and there. Not much crowd. Would be nice if there’s a little cafe in the park:)
Amazing place in Perth for wildlife lovers. You can cuddle up a koala for 20$. It’s worth every penny to hold such amazing rare animals. There are several kangaroos hopping across the park. Must visit for any tourist visitor to Perth!
Only the kangaroos were cool the park were bigger before and is in a bad condition most of the birds are locked up and are ill better visit the Whiteman Park
A nice visit today. Main highlights for my 2 girls 5 and 15 were the roaming animals and feeding them. We all loved the train ride, so cool. Downers for me were the unkempt toilet facilities. Swing a cob web broom around to clear the webs please. Sad to see the place looking so tired and dated however I will return regardless. Thankyou
So many animals at such a low entry fee! Really affordable and there’s also the chance of holding a koala for an extra cost, which is a once in a lifetime experience. Also the train that took you all around the park and the dinosaur statues kept the kids entertained
