Clancy's Fish Pub reviews
63This is one of the worsts experiences I’ve had at any restaurant. Not only are the prices higher than the Empire State Building, I had to wait a whole century to get my food. I watched whole families sit down, order, receive their food, and leave before I even received a morsel of food (keep in mind I was on a table of 2 with my girlfriend). We had to ask the waiter 3 times where our food was and finally after 40 minutes, the food came. We expected some sort of apology but there was none. There was no ‘sorry for the wait’ or even any acknowledgement of how late the food came. We would have appreciated any sort of acknowledgement even if they didn’t mean it (Customer Service/10?). When we finally got our food, I thought I had accidentally ordered from the kids menu. The portion sizing of the fish and chips wasn’t even big enough to feed my 6 month old nephew and I paid $26 for it. Overall bad experience. Do not want to get scammed again.
I took my boys and we sat outside, in the cafe, sharing a family fish and chip plate (50). Not high end food but Is a great place to be on a balmy night. Service good and efficient
After a shaky seafood platter (gluten free) on a previous visit, the platter returned to form on the latest visit. Great news.
Mouth watering delicious food. Enjoyed the octopus grill n fish tacos. Perfectly cooked.well done to everyone rereception n service n amazing food.bursting with flavour. Great time out at a great place.
ALWAYS the friendliest staff, beautiful food, cold beer and prosecco and the most wonderful view. Can't recommend Clancy enough. My favourite beach Cafe in Perth.
I ordered fish&chips, salad and fried octopus. They were really delicious and all staffs were really kind!
Takeaway Snapper chips salad pack top quality. Mixed fruits juice excellent. Not cheap but worth it for quality.
The seafood specials are constantly amazing and thus difficult to choose from. There's a good selection of drinks, and meals to share as well. It's a bit pricey, but that's not surprising considering the location and the quality. The staff are friendly and helpful even when busy. Can't beat those views and a good hangout after the beach.
Been here a couple of times. Food/service is good, and it is pretty well priced considering the area/location.
Great setting, nice views, and big portions. When I first saw the prices I was concerned, but I was very happy when our food came out. I struggled to finish my portion of our shared dish, which was a shame because it tasted delicious.
I'd certainly recommend stopping by in a group and trying a few of the dishes:)
Good food. Had to listen to a 15min lecture from the waiter on why we should order at the table and not the bar though.
Great grub at a beachside place for the family which st ates 'sand an d thongs welcome'. Expensive but worth it
The place buzzes. We watched sunset from a table over the steps to the beach and got happy and efficient service.
Used to be better, seems like portions are shrinking and prices are going up. Still a great view though
Great venue, staff are a bit strange, but I think it's because they are backpackers:)
Great good and fantastic beer selection.
Looked up fish and chips this is what we found. Not what we expected. It was a good night, get there at 8pm after the dinner rush. All the food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Great location, with plenty of delicious food options. Kid and family friendly venue. Seafood Paella is a must! You won’t be disappointed!
Lovely live music. Lovely fresh food. Good selection of icy cold drinks. Recommend this place for an evening out.
You'll get the best view of Floreat Beach from your windows' table. The local fish and fish of the day are wonderful in taste. The service is helpful. Try their beer battered fish as their signature dish.
Great place to watch the sunset over a pint of little dove (my favourite by far). But they don’t serve it anymore
