Clancy's Fish Pub reviews
63A great night spent with friends heading back to South Africa spoilt by a young unpleasant waitress. Party of 7 adults and two children. We're leaving the venue and four of us exit, leaving three adults and two children to follow. The four of us are chased by this waitress, asking if we're going to pay. Em, most of us are still inside, ready to pay. Totally unacceptable and we're waiting for an apology from this waitress
Beautiful spot, good drinks, but food choice is really limited and if you don't like seafood it obviously isn't the spot for you. I know it is a 'fish bar' but it wouldn't be the worst idea to have a few basic alternatives. Even just a weeknight special of a burger/ parmi/ pizza/ steak sandwich/ some kind of salad would be really great. Even a fish burger would be great. The other Clancy's have all these food options and this one really lacks in comparison. Beautiful views and spot mind you. Great for a drink, just wouldn't bother to stay for the food.
"Taste of the Sea"
Great food! Good atmosphere, and the sunset. What more could you want?
Will be back.
Excellent food. Prices good. Only issue was not been able to pay when you order. Had to be a trust system at end of meal and we had a group of 30+.
Fantastic location. Staff are good.
But $16 for a gin & tonic is highway robbery.
Ordered a seafood platter for $95, enough for 2 people. Really fresh seafood, very delicious and had a table with sunset view. Staff were super easygoing too! Would definitely come back again!
Lovely food, great view, great prices, but unfortunately its sort of poorly maintained. The toilets weren’t clean and there was a spider factory above us for some reason. Right above where we were eating. Not very pleasant. If your not an arachnophobe you might not mind but still…
Elite tier food. Good salads chips and classic by the ocean foods. Little on the pricier side but fair due to gorgeous location. Would come again. Clean public toilet available. No gluten free options. Few vegetarian options.
Not greatly impressed, coffee was not hot, me and my partner ordered our breakfasts together, I received mine 15 minutes earlier, than his
Clancy's fish pub was great, food and drinks were delicious but I was disappointed at the people I saw in these photos
Even on a busy weekend the food always comes out quicker than expected and they have a decent range of beers on tap
The stuff is pretty friendly the food is great the view from the restaurant to the spectacular beach
Sat at the outside bar for a drink and nibbles while the kids were on the playground, then went next door to the indoor restaurant for dinner. The atmosphere was fantastic, the food was amazing and a great range on the wine list. Will definitely go again
Clancys has long been our family's go-to spot at the beach in Perth. The meals have always been solid; well cooked with strong flavours, at a price that is OK for the fantastic location. Yesterday however we ate the squid salad and their standard fish & chips and everything was unseasoned, no sauce, no dressing and completely tasteless. I really, really hope this was a one-off and we were just unlucky to choose a day when the main chef had the day off.
Band was playing. Loads of people. Barbecue, picnics on the grass, great family atmosphere. Clean wide beaches. Volleyball courts on the beach. Can't comment on the food. Just had fish and chips on the grass.
Yummy fried mice for me, healthy omega 3 in fish for my son. Unique place for families with fantastic views on the ocean!
Had a wonderful time, shared some amazing food with delicious cocktails. Beautiful view and the cherry on the top is the lovely friendly service by the French waiter.
Sounds like we've found our weekend HQ!
Thank you!
We have been local regulars for a long time but our last three visits, it is clear that they are understaffed and not the same care given to the food as they have previously. Our last visit on Sunday night had us waiting over 20 minutes for drink orders and long food waits - not ideal with young children. Unfortunately this has become the new normal at Clancy's and along with other local families, we will be looking elsewhere for a new local.
We went on a Monday
We ordered Marinara, grilled barramundi, seafood platter, hot chocolate and softdrink haha. I am very much satisfied on taste, the delivery and the place. The staff are excellent too.
The food was very mediocre. This was the first time I had been there and my friend recommended the food as they had been a few years back. However it is safe to say that it certainly has changed.we ordered shark Bay prawns and well cook and tasty good flavour, we got 3 for $20 so a bit pricy. We also ordered fish tacos, sound and looked great but lacked any flavour it was the most bland boring tacos ever. The fish was no existence no flavour, the chard corn was out of the tin! 1 main 1 starter bucket of fries and three drinks cost $100 so disappointing.
