Chinta cafe reviews
60 We've been on the hunt for the best Pina Colada and there is no doubt you will find it at Chinta, and it is the most delightful escape to the tropics. Served in a chilled, stylish glass, this concoction was a perfect blend of coconut cream, pineapple juice, and a hint of rum.
The first sip transported me to a sandy beach with the gentle rustle of palm leaves. The smooth and creamy texture of coconut cream complemented the tangy sweetness of fresh pineapple juice, creating a harmonious balance of flavors. The subtle kick of rum added a touch of sophistication without overpowering the tropical essence.
What stood out was the attention to detail—the drink wasn't overly sweet, allowing the natural flavors to shine through. The presentation, adorned with a pineapple wedge and a stylish umbrella, added to the overall experience.
Whether you're a cocktail enthusiast or just looking for a refreshing escape, the Pina Colada at [Restaurant Name] is a must-try. It's a liquid vacation that captures the essence of the tropics in every sip. Cheers to a truly blissful experience!
This place is just beautiful. I got a voucher for Christmas and we decided to try it out today. And I have to say.we will be back <3 the food was delicious, the atmosphere is so nice, busy restaurant but as each table has kind of a private spot, u feel like there is nobody around you. Amazing what can be created from a shed!
Once again, another relaxing girls catch up this morning. Being surrounded by the plants inside really brings an extra layer of peace to the atmosphere.
Breakfast was so good. We both had the Coconut Muesli. It was beautifully presented, full of yummy nuts and seeds, fresh passion fruit, strawberries and banana with yoghurt and shaved coconut. The fresh juice (I had Blush) was visually appealing and tasted great. My friend had a macchiato topped up which she said was good. I have visited before and never been disappointed with the quality of the food and drinks plus the lovely ambiance of the restaurant.
A wonderful place to come for breakfast to lunch.
We came here for brunch and really enjoyed the experience.
Service was fantastic, food had plenty of colour and a good mix of flavour.
Such a beautiful Cafe and gift shop. Best coffee and menu in Perth. Plus I always find adorable gifts and stunning items of clothing too. My favourite place ever!
I recently had high tea at Chinta for my friend’s baby shower. The place was beautiful, the food was delicious and the service was excellent.
Great brunch spot with meals to suit both western and eastern palates.
Highly recommend the nasi campur.
Very nice vibe. Love the vibe and greenery here. The food was tasty as well and the chai is one of the best I've had in Perth.
I got the vegetarian gado gado and the Chickpea and pumpkin salad. 2nd time here and I'd come again!
We had a beautiful breakfast and were well looked after by their wonderful staff. Our meals were plentiful including homemade baked beans and a delicious hash brown. Highly recommend and will eagerly return.
I am still giving 5 stars as the owner lady seems to be a very lovely person and the atmosphere and food are great! However, the waitress who worked this Friday morning (Asian one) is extremely unfriendly and rude! Didn't welcome us, made us change table twice and in the end told us we had ten minutes longer to stay even though there were two vacant neighbour tables next to us! No smile, no friendliness and no basic manners - she should definitely not work in customer service!
Poor service, unorganised and spoken to rudely by staff.
Made a booking for 8am to try and beat the Mothers Day rush. Waited 45 minutes and no sign of food and coffee. Upon asking the waitress it was clear our order had been forgotten and not put though, as I could see the waitress enter on the computer.she returned and we asked what had happened. She said she would check, and came back a few minutes later asking us to move tables as they had a Mother’s Day booking at 9.30am, which we did, but made it clear we had been waiting close to an hour. Another older lady came over to “apologise”. We expressed how disappointed we were and that had our order been put through we would have been and gone. To this she became defensive and orders get forgotten, to and that there is a large booking at 9.30am, she was rude and blunt and frankly I don’t think customers should be treated that way when they are the ones who have been inconvenienced. We are reasonable and polite people, you would think that they would try to not further inconvenience us and just quickly bring the forgotten order and allow us to finish our meal before the next booking. After waiting at our new table we both felt as though the way we had been spoken to was rude and unnecessary, in fact the complete opposite of how a conversation should go when a customer is politely unsatisfied. We decided to leave and not support a business where we had been “told off” for being unhappy that our order had been forgotten, we waited for an hour and then were moved tables. Poor poor service.
Breakfast was good. However, half the mushrooms were less cooked than others.
Service is nothing to write home about.
I was stunned that waiting staff who ‘circled’ our table, did not seem in a rush to clear the plates promptly!
Decor was great!
Chinta cafe is very popular and can get extremely busy at times. Also you may have to park your car a fair way away as there is not a lot of parking at busy times. Nice place to come for high tea or a casual coffee and cake. Prices are a bit on the high side compared to other cafes with similar quality. Service is prompt however service that I have had on occasions can be quite abrupt when they are busy. You can also wait a little while for service if busy. Otherwise great place to come to enjoy.
We had the most wonderful experience there, our lunch fabulous, tasty, presentation, friendly staff and wonderful decor. Will have to try the high tea too.
Great service, nice selection on the menu and delicious. Too full to try other items but will be back again to sample more.
Have visited Chinta only once, but will definitely return. It's an amazing cafe with an interesting decor. I had an excellent French toast, not crazy sweet, but just perfect, and coffee was great as well.
Only grief is that it can be hard to find a parking spot.
It’s a funky quirky cafe in North Perth, nice ambience. Soon as you entered the cafe, it feels like that you’re somewhere in a holiday getaway place like Bali. Feels very summery with the interiors and the greens surrounding.
The cafe offering fresh juices, smoothies and coffee. Great food, vegetarian friendly and vegan options. They do breakfast, lunch and high tea. It’s definitely a place to go.
The place was buzzing on a sat afternoon. We got there just after 2: 30pm for some ice coffee. They tasted pretty good. Indulgent, yet refreshing on a sunny Spring day. We sat out in the garden & it was really nice, relaxing, comfortable & shady. It was pretty busy & we had to wait for over 5 mins for a table & suddenly the manager/boss came to us & took us to our table. She did this in the middle of all her paper work. Now, that's what I call very good service. She was very friendly & knew how to treat customers. It's hard to find good service these days. I highly recommend this place & would definitely come again.
The service was great as per usual, the chai latte was great! Especially with the honey! My food was nice but the sauce was more sour than usual. It was still a tasty dish though! The place as always looks good and feels very inviting.
