43Professional, courteous great service love it, thanks Cheela team, see you again next year
Great must stop for coffee etc if your travelling from anywhere near Tom Price towards Exmouth or Coral bay, or reverse.
A great place to spend a few nights and explore the Pilbara. So great easy 4x4 tracks and interesting locations throughout the station
Such a great destination stay. Staff are incredibly friendly, approachable and helpful. The facilities are amazing and well looked after, making the stay that much more comfortable. You are given a brilliant map which details the station and some awesome sites to visit near by. Would highly recommend.
Very nice little oasis to stop over and stretch legs, the staff are amazing and such a well looked after place.
Great adventure through their gorge and their staff were lovely. Enjoyed our meal at the restaurant, very delicious.
Great place to stay in the outback. Fantastic campsites with amenities and a cafe. Staff are fantastic and their camp host Morris, is a delight. Had a 2 course meal at the Cafe and it was gourmet, very good. Also stayed at Woongarra Pool. This is a remote campsite on the property.stunning.
Highly recommend.
Loved it. Had a wilderness site at Woongarra Pool for 3 nights right beside the pool. Scenery amazing, wildlife, especially birds. Flocks of finches & spinifex pigeons plus others would come to drink. Also saw Rock Wallabies in the evening. Would reccommend climbing the peak nearest campsite 53 (ours), the best one, for amazing 360 views.
Great location with plenty of activities, including the many walks and drives on the property. Great cafe and evening meals which are popular with booking recommend.
Cheela Plains Station is a green oasis in the Pilbara and a break from the dusty surrounds. A warm hello from staff and grassed sites circle creating a nice community and opportunity to get to know others if thats your thing.
We took the chance to grab gate keys and explore the park as well as have lunch at the cafe.
What an amazing place to park up for a break. Great coffee and carrot cake, places to trek and people to meet. Love the lizards wandering around minding their own business.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, from the moment we checked in, to the chef-cooked 2-course dinner and the impressive range of decommissioned mining trucks retired on-site. Th facilities and amenities were great too.
Traveling from Broome to Perth this place is a MUST! A gem in the middle of nowhere. A chef from Estonia created an awesome dinner. Lovely place, nice fireplace for the evening and powered campground for RVs. Wow, looking forward to come back.
Great little stop over with few accommodation options. Excellent friendly staff. Dinner was amazing
Definitely stop there again
Had high hopes for this station stay but unfortunately due to heavy rainfall we were unable to make it (2 nights booked). Called as soon as we got signal to advise the station we couldn’t get through and spoke to a lady who confirmed a refund would be organised. Then billed us for an outstanding amount…clarified this was an error to then only refunding us 25% of our original booking amount…fair enough - company policy but educate your staff to communicate this clearly to paying customers and not promising a full refund. Then asked us to provide evidence of flooding…like MainRoads WA is not a clear enough directive to warrant a refund? Will take our business elsewhere next time as $25 ‘admin fee’ is unfair. It’s the principal that matters in situations like these. The other campsites/stations issued a refund straight away, no dramas and no administration fees due to flooding being a natural occurrence and unpredictable. We are not ones to complain however, given this was our honeymoon trip which we had spent a lot of time and money planning for, we were extremely disappointed.
Great place to stop on the way to Karajini. Lovely to sit on the lawn under the trees watching the bungarra chase grasshoppers. Climb to the top of the hill to watch the sun rise and set. Eat at the Cafe or sit by the fire. Just superb.
Great stopover between Exmouth & Karijini, tents were very clean & comfortable for a night stay. We had Burger dinner which was amazing too. Sunset & Sunrise are worth the little hike. Staff were very friendly and happy to help with anything that we needed as a group. Highly recommended.
Love what they have done to the place. Table service at dinner time. Meet alot of people from travellers to people working in the area. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. This will definitely be a place I need to go to when I go on holidays
Facilities clean and tidy. Squeezed in like sardines around a small patch of grass. 3 to 4m between campers. Would be great if there was a bit more privacy.
Beautiful place to stay! Very clean and tidy. The station hosts are accommodating and friendly. Suzie was awesome!
Great places to visit around the stay
