Charthouse Cafe

Service was excellent! We ordered the Charthouse Big Breakfast and Charthouse Big Vege Breakfast.
Great size portions and everything tasted good. The poached eggs were a little over cooked with no runny yolk and we were served normal toast not sourdough as stated on the menu

First time trying the dinner tonight, we occasionally do breakfast or lunch (which are awesome) but finally did dinner. I feel cheated we haven't done it sooner! We ordered the onion bhajis for entrees (6 with a garnish salad) and Charthouse Butter Chicken and the Lamb Shanks. The onion bhajis were full of flavour, the salad garnish fresh with a smattering of pickled vegies. The mains were AMAZING! Such an original take on butter chicken, never tasted anything like it. Hubby loved his fall off the bone shank. Can't believe this quality of food is in WAIKIKI! Do yourselves a favour and book in for dinner!

Chef Rana is able to take the ordinary, add his spin on it and the food is so delicious. His shepherd pie. Mmmmmm.
Sue is your friendly host. Well done. We have been back many times and are working our way through the menu. Have never had a disappointing meal.

Visited this cafe tonight not knowing what to expect.
Premises are small and comfortable and we were politely met by the owner.
My wife had the beef cheeks and I had the prawns with lime and chilli.
Wow! What a surprise by the quality of the food.
Both meals were cooked and presented beautifully and the flavours were outstanding.
Really enjoyed our meals and the prices were reasonable.
We will be returning for sure.

The coffee is really nice! It has even some art on top what you don’t see often anymore. It shows the personal care of the owners. The breakdast itself was great! My big breakfast was BIG!

Second visit to this fantastic Cafe in as many weeks, this time with two guests, both finicky eaters.
We were greeted, as usual by Sue, Rana busy cooking. A new addition to the staff was Toni, who was absolutely terrific, catering to our every whim.
As it turned out, after a feed of garlic bread, each of us had the seafood chowder. In reality, the reason we came to the Cafe today was to show our friends how good was this seafood chowder! Enough for a full meal, this cream based chowder was full of fish, prawns, squid, mussels and sundry other things. Our guests have not stopped raving about the meal, and the attention paid to us by the staff. We will all be back as soon as possible (quicker now that we have seen the evening menu)
The only down side to a fantastic lunch was Rana, ex chef for the NZ All Blacks, being unsure if he would barrack for Australia in the upcoming rugby test. He'll learn!

Best coffee around, hidden gem, very friendly service. They even do a bicycle design on the coffee.

Kids not welcome, apparently the condiments on the table cannot be touched.food average, expensive for what you get, recommend you go to dome for a better experience.

I’m originally from Sydney and this is my first time travelling to Perth.
Greeted with a lovely lady at the front counter who made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Also made the most delicious coffee (mocha).
Also the Chef is amazing, can really see they care about us having a good experience within their services.
The ‘ Butter Chicken’ was amazing. The portion of the serving was just enough for me to eat it all up.
110% be coming back to try out more of their dishes.

Wow is my main word for this place! Absolutely delicious food, I had the vegetarian breakfast bruschetta with an iced coffee, great portioning, great flavours and great range. Will definitely eat here again

We love to go here for lunch. My friend has coeliac and they are great at catering for her dietary needs. Lovely staff

Thanks to Rana and Su for the beautiful meal and service ten of us were given yesterday to celebrate my birthday a week ago. Couldn't make it on the actual day. Had a very enjoyable time as always. This place is truly worth the journey from Pinjarra.

Another thoroughly enjoyable experience, which confirms why Charterhouse Cafe is the winner of the Travellers' Choice award. Not just satisfied to enjoy a lovely lunch we tooks home a 'take away' of their famous chowder for our evening meal.another good decision. Friendly staff. Meals were delicious and could be altered such as keto options with scrambled eggs and bacon minus the toast. Coffee great too. Recommend Dog friendly too
