The only problem I had was asking for a takeaway cup for my sit down 3/4 full, $5.50 cup of coffee because the 97 year old lady I was with, wanted to leave for toilet time 10 minutes after we arrived, The not so nice Indian lady that served us said "that will be 20 cents for a paper cup. I was in shock, and I had no cash because I pay everything by card. She let me rummage around in my bag for 2 long minutes then said " next time you come back remember take away cups are 20 cents ok don't forget" umm lady I'M NEVER GOING BACK that was weird

This place is a little hidden gem! Love the food, the staff are all so lovely and accommodating! Food is delicious

Today I came in and bought chai latte the waiter came to me with my chai latte order but there was mosquitoes on top of flying everywhere around cafe which made my stomach sick just by looking at it but I still took one sip of it and it was so tasteless and no sugar at all. It took so much long just to give me back my change how ridiculous

Mediocre service. Bland chai latte Lack of professionalism altogether right from the owner to the staffs, no greetings, no follow up’s. This review is not to upset you guys but to say you can do better. At least put up a smile on your face to greet your patrons please, and have some sort of uniform to show your professionalism. Get some more good staff only one old staff running around the whole restaurant.

I have eaten just about every meal on this menu. They used to cook at quiz night at the golf club and always enjoyed my meal and it’s the same as the cafe.

My wife and l went for lunch and received really top class food with friendly service and welcoming smiles.
We also took food away for dinner and it also did not disappoint us.
This is a great place and bookings recommended and we are looking forward to our next visit.

Seafood chowder was great, a little watery, but the taste was sublime. Wife had the mushroom seafood risotto. She loved it!

I was on a tight time for lunch so wanted something quick but tasty. I asked for a toasted cheese and tomato sandwich which was not on the menu and I was told that they had no bread to make a sandwich to order. That was disappointing given that there is a supermarket and a baker in the shopping centre. My friends, who had more time, ordered items from the menu, such as risotto and were pleased with their food so I have given 4 stars based on their recommendation. The owners are very hospitable and the Cafe is clean and tidy.

Mushroom Risotto is delicious. All have the same. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Only criticism could have been more generous with the chips.

My coffee was too strong, upon asking too adjust it they bought hot milk and sugar too my table, 5 stars right there! Big breakfast was presented perfectly although not massive, was good value and perfect scrambled eggs, crispy bacon with the best 'flame kissed' mushrooms i've had.

Lovely place to enjoy really tasty food. Service was attentive and unassuming. Well worth a visit, it's my son's favourite dining venue.

Nice coffee and quiet little shop, I love the indoor plants.however, recently my partner and 3year old daughter went in store while I had a nail appointment. As they had purchased a roll from the bakery for my baby beforehand, the female owner told them to wait outside for the coffee! And that they could not be seated.in my opinion, this was an extreme request for paying, regular customers.not to mention that on this particular day, the weather was a thunderstorm!

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS IMPECCABLE
the owners are very hands on and caring, there are awards around the place and it is not hard to see why! The coffee is strong and made with love as well as skill, the food is that good I believe Gordon Ramsey himself wouldn’t be disappointed.

The place is so good even Mark McGowen eats here.

Three of us had lunch, every meal was a different choice, and all of them were lovely and enjoyable, the owners and staff were very attentive and helpful,

Wow this couple who operate the cage are truly amazing. They have customer service in their souls. The seafood chowder is to die for- amazing. The iced coffee is the best as it’s an old fashioned true iced coffee - no too sweet. Do yourself a favour and check them out! The only negative is that Rana barracks for Collingwood - no one is perfect

The food at Charthouse was amazing! The best fish I’ve had for years and the owners are wonderful. Definitely a hidden gem.

This is a great cafe with friendly service; And really good coffee!
Green outlook and indoor and outdoor areas are spacious. Easy access for people with canes, walkers & wheelchairs.
We enjoyed the meal tremendously; the Buddha bowl was delicious. Avocado & toast really tasty. Butter Chicken Curry so tasty & filling.
Highly recommend this hidden treasure. Go there!

If ya catch Mr outside hes very nice. But watch the Mrs very angry ant.and the poor waitress Melissa.
