Caversham Wildlife Park reviews
51Beautiful park. Lots of places to play with your family. The wildlife park is really good. Staffs are very friendly and helpful and happy. Really recommended!
Excellent place to see the wild life of Australia. You can walk around the kangaroos and meet the koalas and opossum. In front of the Enter there are a lot of places for relaxing and to have a picnic. Barbeque costs 1 AUD.
Much better than expected. The good attractions are great, some of the others are a little boring. Animal shows were very good and keepers are very helpful. Great for small kids
Caversham Wildlife Park is located in Whiteman Park Perth WA. As there's lots to see and do it's recommended allow 3 hours. You can meet the Koalas and Kangaroos. In the Australian Homestead Arena you can meet a Wombat and a variety of other Australian animals for great photo ops. There is also the Farm show, see sheep dogs in action, sheep shearing demo and to crack a stock-whip. Worth a visit.
Best way to experience Australian wildlife up close! Loved the access and my young son was thrilled to pet his first koala! Will definitely take my partner from the Phillipines there when she comes next year!
A great place to see kangaroos, wallabies and host of other animals up close. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. The park is well organised and sign-posted. A great way to spend a few hours.
My husband and I had a wonderful day visiting Caversham Wildlife Park. As you will see from some of the photos prested it is well worth every penny we spent. To mingle with the kangaroo's and enjoy a relaxing walk throughout the park has also had an affect on us. Staff are friendly and informative. Included in the entry charge are several shows in which your children can partake in. Learning about sheep rounding, cattle dogs used for rounding up sheep. Seeing how a sheep is shaun and learning about the wool itself is educational for all family members. Whip cracking another item of interest.
Seeing a snake drinking water for the very first time is something I won't forget.
Bit pricey these days but they have really made the place nice and huge- there is lots to see. I say this place is better than the Perth Zoo. You can go into an enclosure and pet goats and also into an area where you can pet and feed kangaroos which is pretty great.
Caversham is a great place for families to spend almost half a day visiting major Australian wild life including Kangaroos, Koalas, Snakes, etc. Farm show was also a cool experience.
Great place to have some up close experience and photo taking with certain wildlife animals and reptiles.ample place for parking. Liked the shows as well.
Loved the shows (they are not keeper talks). Very hands-on with some audience participation. Great system for meeting the koalas, wombats, snake, owls, parrots, bettong. Kids (and adults) can hand feed the kangaroos as much as they like! Treelined walkways are great for keeping it cool.
