Fantastic place to visit with the family, especially with overseas visitors. My only feedback would be that there are no water fountains or places to refill your water bottles. We took our own water bottles but didn't realise there wouldn't be a place to refill them.

Good diversity of wildlife across Australia represented here, well organised and plenty of tree cover. You can take photos with wombats and koalas which is great for kids and tourists. Would've been nice if some animals e.g. The camel could be within arms reach like the other farm animals

This place is amazing you can easily make a day out here, so many animal interactions also, the atmosphere is tranquil, will defenetly be returning in the near future.

Love the sheep sheering show. Friendly staff. I went on a weekday so it isn't so crowded. There's a magpie around the alpaca/ cow open area that will swoop on your head, so be careful.

Caversham Wildlife Park is a must-visit destination for animal lovers and anyone looking to experience the unique wildlife of Australia up close. My recent visit to this park left me thoroughly impressed and enchanted by the incredible diversity of creatures and the immersive experiences it offers.

One of the highlights of Caversham Wildlife Park is the chance to interact with the animals. From hand-feeding kangaroos to getting up close with cuddly koalas, the park provides a host of memorable encounters. I particularly enjoyed the kangaroo enclosure, where these gentle marsupials hop around freely, and you can feed and pet them. It's a unique opportunity to connect with Australia's iconic wildlife.

The park's bird aviaries are another delight. Walking through these lush enclosures, you can observe colorful parrots, cockatoos, and other native birds in their natural habitat. It's a photographer's dream, with countless opportunities for stunning shots.

Great if you want to see koalas and kangaroos, the cafe is simple and good at a fair price.

I'm from Indonesia and really enjoy the very neat and clean arrangement for all the animals there

The staff were so enthusiastic, and I was able to get up close and personal with the kangaroos and koalas and take photos with them. However, the venue closed at 4: 30 after an early break.

Very pleasant visit and saw lots of Koalas, Roos and birdlife. Allow 3 hours as there were plenty to see. The farm show was fabulous too.

Great day out for the whole family. The park was well kept and the staff we met were all so helpful and knowledgeable. We had a great experience here with our 3 year old. Hand feeding the kangaroos and meeting the koalas were definitely our highlights. My tip is take your picnic rug and enjoy a shady spot with your lunch.

My grandchildren loved this wildlife facility. It was such an easier, & cheaper place to take my grandchildren, than the Zoo. The Australian animals feature more prominently here that at the PerthZoo.
If, however, you are looking for the big animals from foreign destinations then the Zoo has the answer. For pre-school & primary school children Caversham is great for multiple visits.
Would really love them to offer an annual membership similar to Scitech. So we could go more often for shorter visits.
Am most impressed with Caversham & also with the demonstration of farm activities & education sessions.

What a wonderful place. Had an amazing time taking our daughter to see the animals. She loved it We got to meet the Wombat and have photos. My daughter even got to hold a snake for the first time as well which she wasn't too sure of. The farm show was also fantastic where they showed you how they herd and shear the sheep. We even got to see the Koalas and have photos with them. Next time we come to visit we will get there a little earlier as we did miss a bit but all in all a fantastic experience had by all Highly recommended

Our family had a great day at the wildlife park. Exhibits were good quality and you can see the animals are well cared for.
The scheduled events included photos with koalas, petting a wombat, watching a shearing demonstration and Tassie Devil feeding.
We stayed back and talked with the shearing staff afterwards, very friendly and knowledgeable.

I liked the park - but 4 stars as thought it was a bit pricey for families. Great interacting for kids with animals.

Very nice place to go to. Suggest to check for different feeding and show times prior going to not miss them. 100% worth the visit.

Great place to visit, you can meet wombats, koalas and so much more.
You can also sponsor an animal, as they only run on visitors and donations, I sponsored a wombat as a birthday present, then was able to meet her in person.
Lovely and informative staff.
Will be back.

Photo opportunities are good. Not really accessible on weekdays, need 1+ hour walking from the front gate one way. There's shuttles on weekend. Make sure you don't miss the last shuttle, and read where the shuttle stop. Better to use car if possible. Read the feeding show time line, it is only twice a day because of covid

The park itself is generally very good. Obviously focusing on Australian animals. It was a rather rainy day when we attended, so the walkways were a touch muddy but not dangerously slippery. Feeding the mob of kangaroos that inhabit the park is always a highlight for young and old alike and the fodder is included in the very reasonable admission price. The docents and keepers are a wonderfully helpful team, knowledgeable and are very keen to answer any and all questions.
However, it would be our advice to either bring your own lunch or eat at the cafeteria OUTSIDE the zoo. (Just across the parks grassed area). The quality and prices of the in-house cafe are extra-ordinary, but not in a good way. Sadly that was the only mar on an otherwise good day out.
