I love going to training, capoeira is very important in my life. Not only we learn how to play capoeira but we also learn Brazilian culture and history. We play music, sing and build up genuine friendships. CDO Perth is an awesome group led by Ouriço who’s a fantastic teacher. Mariana is looking after us students very well and always make sure we are well and safe. If you want to feel part of a community while learning all of the above then join us, you defs won’t regret the experience! We love Capoeira! Lee and Macu are fantastic with the kids. The changes in Noah with his confidence and movement skills have been amazing! The constant giggles and enjoyment, not to mention a great work out, and learning about Brazilian music and culture is what Noah loves about Capoeira. Mariana and Lee, thank you for so warmly welcoming us into the Capoiera Community and for creating such a positive and happy place for the kids to learn Martial Arts/Music/Brazilian Culture.

Capoeira CDO Perth is a welcoming and inclusive place where the kids thrive in their lessons. The instructor has an amazing connection with the kids which allows them to learn in a fun, yet effective, environment. I found Capoeira to be a great mix of body movement, music and culture at all levels (the parents get roped in occasionally to participate). Not being Brazilian isn't a concern, we're Aussie through and through and my son loves learning the new Portuguese words.

Much, much more than a martial art form. My 10 year old son has participated in CDO Capoeira for 3 years now. He enjoys all aspects of this beautiful Brazilian physical, musical & cultural practice. Lee and Marianna have a special way with kids of all ages. They have boundless energy and enthusiasm. They show amazing care and respect for all our kids and it's clearly evident the kids hold them in equally high regard. I couldn't ask for better role models for my son. Dee J
