Caltex Overlander Roadhouse reviews
58Excellent food.we'll be back for sure! Real Coffee, good service.clean and tidy. We use to always stop at Billabong however we have been converted to stopping at Overlander now due to many things being better! Try it.im sure you will agree!
Great place for a short stop or overnighter. Faculties are good for a roadhouse and for is excellent. We stayed overnight and it was very quiet and safe. Water is bore water and non-potable
Stayed 1 night on my way south. Room was cheap, clean, adequate. With tv, bathroom, fridge, no issues there. Only issue being no mobile coverage or internet. I had a signal but clearly not Telsta. Only place I stayed on my trip from Darwin to Perth where I had no cover.
Love this place. Always loved stopping here as a kid and still love it. The lady was so chill as our mental kids tore up the place.
Best Roadhouse we visited (of many) between Perth to Broome and back.
Super friendly, helpful staff. Make great coffee. And yes, the sausage rolls were delicious. Very clean facilities.
Adding you as a stop on the next trip north.
Excellent rooms, very clean and tidy. Best burgers we have had. We will always stop here for feed and stay. Thank you.
Great stop for coming or going in either direction. Lots to see as it's not just a servo. Souvenirs clothing postcards fuel and food.
Yes they have toilets too.
Staff are very friendly.
See you out on the road. Happy Travellers.
Stopped over on the way back to Perth
Nice and clean.they have everthing you need
Snacks, grocery goods, meds etc.
This is an excellent place to stay, especially if you are heading to Coral Bay / Exmouth / Shark Bay from Perth.
We stayed in the heat of the year, arriving on a scorching 52 degree day (as we were told by the staff working there).
We were received in a friendly and welcoming manner; all staff made sure our stay was as comfortable as it could have been.
Initially, we were worried about the heat (still well above 40 degrees at 6: 30-7pm), but the air conditioning worked wonders for our room, and our stay was comfortable and refreshing.
The room was very clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable enough.
Way better than Billabong - would highly recommend staying here over anywhere else nearby.
We stayed at the back here free camping whilst we travelled to Denham and Steep Point. We felt safe leaving our caravan here for 2 nights, every night we were here there was approx another 5-7 caravans around. There is access to a toilet which is at the roadhouse and only open when the roadhouse is. The toilets were so clean and the coffee here was superb! Good fuel prices also.

Loved this stop, the rooms are exceptional and the food is well priced. The staff are lovely and accommodate you when they can. My new NW stopover.
Surprisingly great cold food selection with some healthy options. Also got a great stubby holder.
Gets busy and fuel price is expensive up that way.
Roadhouse very well managed,
Food always fresh and rooms were well presented and clean.highly recommend…
Chicken rice paper rolls were at least 2 days old. Lettuce was brown and slimy. Rice paper was like cardboard. Gross.
Staff that treat customers with great attitude goes along way. The young lady behind the counter was extremley friendly. Something that is missing from a lot of the east coast of Australia. Great to get some fair dinkum hospitality!
The shop is really well stocked and spotlessly clean. Lots of healthy food options, groceries and useful things such as usb, car chargers, souvenirs etc.
There are also powered and unpowered sites behind roadhouse with loads of space. No water but power is available as well as hot showers and laundry. Large clean and modern amenities block.
Another big bonus i thought, was really really good tasting coffee! One of the best we've had in a long time.
Definitely worth the stop!
It's ok for an overnight stay, 8 powered and 10 non powered sites, diesel not to bad on price, good selection of food to choose from, staff are helpful.
Great stop before heading to steep point/monkey mia. They stock a lot of basic supplies, hot food, fuel, and camping out the back.
Great all-round stop.

Great overnight accommodation in the self contained ensuite rooms.
Russell is the man. Friendly and helpful.
Descent bed, good shower and pretty clean.
Russ is so busy he hasn't got the time to put a new light globe out the front of the room so bring a torch.
Good coffee too!
