Business Foundations

I learned a lot from Business foundations and I highly recommend their service for anyone willing to start a new business specially those who are qualified for NEIS.

Nicola was an excellent trainer, with a friendly supportive manner, providing clear and concise information, and a variety of professional resources. I hardly noticed it was an exclusively online course, as the other participants always had their videos on, giving it a definite classroom feel. Unlike some Zoom environments this one felt personal. Looking forward to continuing the Business Start Up process over the coming year.

During the Self-Employment Assistance Scheme, I received a wealth of information regarding starting a small business. I felt motivated and inspired by watching a number of videos on inspiring people in different areas of business development. Dianna's teaching style is dynamic, vibrant and focuses on being positive, whilst acknowledging the personal difficulties that participants may be feeling. Dianna inspired me to keep going and seek help in areas I need it. The teaching material was an effective mix of videos, handouts, in-class exercises and group discussions. We were also provided with very helpful information, agencies, to follow up after class. I felt inspired to empower myself and take charge of my own development.

Kim was a great lecturer and helped me to understand my business idea on a much more in depth level while making everything easy to understand. Great experience and would definitely recommend

I had no idea where to start with my business idea.but what I got from this course was a step by step plan to move forward and some great contacts and links to all the resources I need to be successful. The best part was our trainer who had a lot of practical business experience to pass on, very clear, supportive and great fun! Definitely up there with my top 5 best things I've ever done. Loved it!

I cannot recommend the NEIS program enough, it has given me a new confidence in building my business. What made it exceptional was the combination of how Dee and Phillipa delivered the program. Two very different type of facilitation styles that complimented each other, a no nonsense, professional and holistic approach to learning business. I enjoyed the face to face learning, a memorable experience with awesome participants.

I'm really happy with my experience with Nicola! The structure of learning was really great, and I enjoyed the group zoom calls more than I thought I would. Nicola was excellent with answering questions, and giving everyone the equal amount of assistance if they needed it. Creating a business plan became so much easier after having each section broken up over the course of a few weeks, and now I feel a lot more confident and relaxed with managing all my responsibilities for my business.
