Budget Car & Truck Rental Midvale

Hired a Van on 3rd July 21 from Midland Budget/Avis. Drove out and got as far as Great Eastern Highway Bypass and check engine light came on. Was advised to return the vehicle. No replacement was provided as evidently non available through the whole of Perth. Was advised a full refund would be provided and 2 weeks later have not seen the refund, nor have I had any response to my emails asking for the refund to be processed. Have since lodged a dispute with my bank so will have to wait another 10 days minimum to get my hard earned money back - NOT IMPRESSED! Really poor customer service - didn't even help me call another provider - luckily Hertz was able to assist.

Made an online reservation for 4 days to return the car at 10: 30 pm. They called me and asked me to return the car earlier at 3 pm citing it is unsafe to leave it outside after-hours. I oblige.
When I went to pick up the car I was told to return it a day earlier only then I can rent. I didn't agree. After lot of 'talking' finally got the car.
Asked to change the rate since I was returning it earlier and was told it will be adjusted when I bring back the car.
They charged me for until 10: 30 pm and was told that it's charged not hourly but daily rates.

Very pleasant people and good cars. One less star for not bothering to wash the car prior to us renting it. It was filthy!
