Excellent service by Michelle; as I’m in a wheelchair and it’s difficult for my husband to manoeuvre me and our baggage, she went out of her way to bring the car to the terminal entrance for us.

Excellent customer service. Great vehicle. Added bonus.received a heavily reduced upgrade to a luxury vehicle at minimal cost! Very happy! Also, cheapest I've dealt with so far for debit card bond hold. Will be a returning customer!

If you want to be scammed out of your money this is the place for you! Lots of hidden charges that they intentionally forget to mention until the last moment. I ended up using Uber for my stay in Perth & saved around $400.

Really pleased with the brand new I30 I was lent recently when I hired a car for a week from Perth Airport. They took a hold on my debit card less then I expected and I'd already prepaid so it was easy peasy to pickup and drop off with no unexpected charges.

Arrived and waited half an hour and no answer, had to speak with other car sales to find out location

I can only comment on our personal experience using Budget, Perth Airport. We used Budget for 1 week in the lead up to Christmas, December 2017. Reserving the car online was straightforward and picking the car up at the airport was smooth and easy. There was a really friendly lady behind the counter that helped us finalise the booking. We payed for the Budget petrol tank refill, which I would highly recommend doing as you therefore don't have to worry about filling the tank up prior to returning the car, and the Budget price of petrol is cheaper than city prices. The walk from the terminal to the Budget car park was very short (5 mins). As we were on a budget, we booked the Toyota Corolla, a small and simple car which did the job. It was a new model, tidy and drove well - great mileage. Returning the car was quick and easy as well, and staff were pleasant. All in all, our experience was honestly fine. I'm deducting 1 star, because we were informed - at the desk on day 1 - that we could pay between $35-45 per day for the Reduction, to reduce the excess down from $4,500. We were going with Budget for a reason, we were on a strict budget! An excess of $4,500 is just ridiculous and asking drivers to pay even more to reduce this is unfair! Afterall, with the additional expense you may as well go with a premium rental service. We simply couldn't afford an additional ~$40 per day for a week's rental so we risked it. Going with a budget rental company, I would expect all the basics (insurance, excess reduction) to be included in the price, and instead not have any of the bells and whistles. I would have preferred to have an older, less-clean car than drive around on egg-shells all week because the $4,500 excess is constantly on my mind. All in all, we were fine and the service was great - but this excess/reduction is something I would say needs changing.

Currently have hire car, have been trying to call for 3 days to extend my booking. Can't be done through the call centre, but I can never get through to the 24hr Perth Airport direct number. I was going to do a large trip so wanted to increase my insurance to zero excess just in case. We get a lot of roos, pigs and assorted birds and mammals as well as the possibility of unsleaed roads or sections of roads. I was not able to do this as I wanted, and my trip for work had to proceed.
(My eyes wide for 11hrs, peeled for any sign of possible danger, no matter how miniscule or dangerous to avoid)
Additionally I just discovered as I returned from said 900km round trip, that one of the rear tyres has a massive chunk missing and is showing the white under the rubber. (Well worn, so had been there a while, I'd say kind of 5-10 thousand kms earlier)
I was driving at 110km/hr. If that had gone the car could have flipped, and here's betting if I hadnt died in the accident BUDGET would have tried to hit me up for the excess! My 2yr old son was in the car earlier in the week.
For shame!
It shouldn't be my job to inspect the tyres, I should be able to presume that the car is at least roadworthy. I'm happy to check for bumps and scratches, it's a hire car, but the tyres should be checked.
It's pretty scary stuff BUDGET. This is people's lives.

Budget service, premium price. Cost over $1000 for a hatchback for a week, without even a $0 excess. Pre-booked, but left standing in the sun waiting for them to clean the car for over an hour.

Wrong pick up instructions, rude staff at the counter sent me on my way to collect my car after putting a hefty hold on my debit card and turns out that i had paid for a budget car but was collecting an avis car would of been useful if he had told me.

All in all a bad experience even with drop off wouldnt use again and they wasnt even budget prices!

Overcharged on card and no response to enquiries or reason given. I have several rentals coming up so just lost that business and the sensible customers who read this will follow suit. Poor business practice if you ask me. Cheers

Showed up on time, no one around. Waited at the counter for 30 mins before anyone showed up. Rented cars all around the world. This was absolutely the most unprofessional handling I've seen. All other counters, thrifty, red spot, hertz, europcar are manned. My booking was with budget. No one at the budget counter and a sign says to go to neighbouring avis counter. No one there as well. Be warned, it's not worth any discount or deal. You don't wait 30 mins just for counter staff to appear.

Bought excess reduction with no accident and returned half a day earlier. Charge me fuel charges while I returned full tank and other unknown charges to my credit card without explanation. They don't check and confirm on the spot with you but bill you days after. Be warned.

The very low review ratings here is not of no reason. Budget and Avis are actually operated as one.
We made a reservation online and upon picking up at the airport counter, the manager talked us to buy excess reduction from $5000 to $550 by paying $25 per day and highlighted it on the agreement. Upon returning, we are charged $35 per day by adding various hidden charges (admin, premium location, registration, GST etc.)
We only found the fuel was about 90-95% full when driving away. We filled up to full tank before returning and yet I was told have been charged for refueling a week later no way to verify. Their judgement is “final”.
No respond after many attempts to seek for clarifications as all have been charged to my credit card.
While it is fair you need to pre-authorise them charging your credit card upon picking up your car. Dealing with such a dishonest company by allowing them to reach your pocket freely is very foolish.
The worst car renting experience ever. I’d give no star or negative. Budget/Avis no more.

Never again will I allow myself to be treated in such a manner. Absolutely Disgusting!
My advice for travellers to Perth who are in need of car rental, spend the extra $5 a day to use a reputable company. A company that takes pride in its customers.
Without mentioning names, these people have lost the basic skill of customer service.
Budget Wankers!

I had exceptional friendly service when I picked up and dropped off my car. They went above and beyond to make sure I was okay. I did call Budget to ask a question and the guy was exceptionally rude but he appeared to be offsite (1. Wasn't there when I arrived and 2. The way he referenced Perth). Thanks guys!
