Rented a suzuki swift for about two weeks, kept it in good nick, return it, dont recieve my bond back and i didnt even get an email or anything as to explain why, also the instructions on pickup for this particular place where rubbish, confusing at best, on top of that their staff went home early the first time i rented a car and had to get it the next day.

Absolute thiefs, DO NOT TRUST, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Accidentally left some belongings in the car, no response to email or phone calls to collect or pick up. Very bad customer service.

Emailed the recommended email address and still no reply. Very very bad customer service. Wish I could zero stars, would not recommend.

Booking and pick up were trouble free. The vehicle was spotless. I needed to make a couple of changes due to flight changes and it was reasonably easy. Although they do need a 24hr hot line though.
I would definitely use them again.

Very happy with the service. I normally hire cars when in Perth but my wife did this time.
She had to rebook a later flight (4 day's later) due to covid lockdown in Perth.
We rang budget airport and explained issue and that car wasn't being used outside intial booking dates confirmed with photo of odometer.
The lady we dealt with AMAZING only booked for the original 4 day's.
Thankyou.my wife was so stressed.

Be Wary of Renting from Budget!
Our booking confirmation for collection & drop off at Budget Perth Airport itemised additional charges incorporated into the price, with the following notation: “The price also includes all costs you must pay, for example, administration fees, GST, Vehicle Registration Fee (VRF) and any location surcharges. ”
However after returning the car my credit card was charged additional fees: location fee for returning to Perth Airport (the location I collected the car from originally), 6.6L of fuel even though I filled the car before returning, plus an admin fee. Based on Hyundai's stated fuel consumption, this equates to 80km of driving.
At the time we returned the car the single staff member on site said they were too busy to check the car in & to leave the keys on the counter - I now realise this was a BIG MISTAKE!
I should not have trusted them & strongly urge others to consider other rental companies before booking with Budget.

I haven’t even picked up my car yet and am already infuriated with the ‘service’. Poor communication re booking & the call centre staff are clueless about basic requests/info. Lady on phone told me she’s got 400 other requests to attend to because she’s been on holiday, so can’t guarantee my query will even be seen by staff (even though I’ve pre-paid my $1800) - thanks.

It looks the business really doesn't care of their service. Be careful, they are the ones charge you more items eventually.

Terrible service, got downgraded to a sedan from an SUV, Which was booked online well in advance, was informed when I got there they had no SUV'S, So I had the choice of a sedan or hatch but would not be getting reimbursed in any way shape or form because "thats just how it is" and I'd already paid online. Rude and arrogant staff member. Was also informed I would be charged $6 a litre for fuel if the car wasn't completely refuelled at drop off.
Will never use again. Would rather walk

Dont hire, worst customer service i asked to rent a car and they said they would send me a reservation number but they didnt, my wife just delivered and i wanted to use there car but no they didnt send the reservation number and i am in dilemna right now.worst service ever could have gave - star for that guy who told me to reserve a car or give reservation number.

I had a confirmation of a price for 6 days at $119 but when I collected the car I was charged $467. That was over a month ago and I'm still trying to get it resolved.

The people at the Airport office don't answer the phone or emails and the customer service center is offshore and useless to deal with.

There are other rental places that maybe don't have birds but have good service and no hassles like these guys.

Totally abhorrent.go elsewhere

CONTEXT:
- Booked through Qantas
- Ages 21-24
- 16/2/20 Sunday 11am - Tuesday 4: 30am
- Served by Olivia

To be frank, was a bit nervous from the reviews.
Turned to be pleasantly surprised.

Pros:
- Olivia was very kind and helpful.
- Interaction was fast and efficient.
- Car was clean and had no issues.
- Car return (after hours) was same parking location at the same office (key drop box).

Cons:
- Not a whole lot of information proactively given. There is an extra cost incurred for ages 21-24 that was not mentioned at all in person but I did my online research so it was expected. Good practice to ask questions while you're there (Car return procedure? Car condition on return? , etc)

(As of writing this, yet to receive any unexpected/unreasonable costs other reviews have mentioned)

The staff member I dealt with was very rude and short.

My card wasn't scanned at rental causing me to have to come back for renewal.

Office unavailable at drop off. No receipt. No confirmation e-mail.

Not good service overall

I have been over charged, due to coming early to drop of the the swift i hired have been charged $65 for nothing and at first i was told it's a computer error and hour later i returned the car half hour later.
Worst service in perth airport.

Was disappointed that the car stereo didn't work the entire time. More disappointed that the customer service couldn't care less about it

Quite expensive and also pretend to upgrade you to a much nicer vehicle because the one you had booked in advance and agreed to was suddenly not available. Once vehicle was returned to them, man behind counter did not check vehicle or sign off.i did not receive my roughly $ 384 bond fee of some such back either after a few attempts at emailing and ringing the company over the month that follow the hire. The car i did use with them however was clean, tidy and really good in general so its not all bad for these chaps

DO NOT RENT THEIR CAR. We were given a smaller car, not as booked & can't fit our luggages.
We have got a shocked unknown charges to our credit card. Upon returning the car to Avis (same company) they have already checked and verify the car is in good condition.

Today I returned my hire car to the wrong terminal. The most amazing man Omad went out of his way to take me to the correct gate and returned my car. I have never been so grateful that he helped so much.

Spent most of my afternoon calling these guys just to be constantly put on hold,
Finally talk to someone only to be told I will get a call back. Only requested to extend my rental I would think a simple request. Expecting to be over changed for late return
