Brooklands Tavern reviews
67Lovely place for a family feed during the week. Weekends are very busy and if you have the patience sometimes to wait a bit, its worth the effort. Would visit again.
Food terrible and expensive. Beer sat at bar too long before delivering so flat. One rude waitress.
Drinks were alright but food menu was average and way overpriced. Only 3 lamb koftas with lots of salad to fill the plate. Won't be going there again.
The staff always go above and beyond for my family thank you guys for everything you do this place looks after everyone
Good place good food the bartender Renee darty little sing cleaning up tables serving non stop great vibe
Have been here a few times and always an amazing experience, food is always well presented and staff are amazing. Great venue highly recommended.
I ordered the Graziers rump.med.it came out so raw you couldn't cut it
Even the waitress agreed. Staff were nuce

The food was delicious and well presented but the service wasn't the best. I would recommend it for a family gathering or just a good night out.
Omg the service here is so bad! Lady at the reception said *can you wait 10-15 minutes while we clear and reset the tables? “With an attitude”
Me and my family says yeah sure
30 minutes goes by and still waiting….
Another women comes by and ask us if we’d like a table. Turns out the first women that *served us went home and just didn’t want to serve us. Not to mention we were the only people there to eat for lunch.
This is our 4th. Visit to the Brooklands everytime they have exceeded our expectations food is outstanding wonderful environment they even have outdoor area order from your table technology can't say enough about them.
So it's 20 stars from us 5 for each visit.
Pretty budget bar with a really old school pub vibe. I'm giving it 4 stars for two reasons.
1. It doesn't presend to be anything else. It's not masquerading as an upmarket venue and you get what you're given in an authentic way. The beer garden overlooks the carpark in the most 'south of the river' way imaginable, but for some reason I was fine with it.
2. The food is fantastic. I was shocked at how nice the food was based on the aesthetic of the venue. I had a beef brisket, and it was cooked almost perfectly. And it wasn't expensive at all.
I would certainly come back here.
Great food and such awesome service from the lady on the bar side (behind the bar.) Very friendly, I did let her know that she was lovely and that customer service can be hard to come by these days.
Access to the play equipment is a bit strange. Would be better if there was access from inside the pub as opposed to going around near the road.
Food was OK, staff were great though.
The worst customer service and food I've ever experienced. I came here for an 18th birthday lunch and the workers were extremely rude and had the care factor of 0 when we were upset with the quality/taste of the food.once we had complained our table was completely avoided and ignored even when asking for the food they forgot to bring out to us (and was CHARGED for). Half of our food was undercooked and we had to wait 40min for a glass of ginger beer and lemonade.all the workers looked like they hated their jobs and made the experience very uncomfortable for me, my family, and friends.if you're looking for a friendly and nice place to go for lunch/dinner, this is NOT a recommended place.we were all very disappointed. I also saw many tables trying to get the worker's attention (when they obviously weren't busy) and completely ignore them.step-up your game guys.
This is only restaurant/tavern that I have eaten at that consistently makes an effort for vegetarians/vegans. I regularly eat out and since becoming vegetarian I have felt punished by the hospitality industry. Here the food is always of a great standard and they actually know how to cook and provide a wide variety of veggies. My mother said that you can tell a good chef by they way they cook their vegetables-I now understand this statement and agree wholeheartedly. I come most Wednesdays just for their $17 eggplant Parmigiana-it’s parmy night and it’s not just for meat eaters.
My lamb shank was very good service not to bad sons Nuggets little over fried he didn't finish it
Great popular spot, food and service was exceptional and given how many people were there food was delivered in a timely manner, great job by kitchen staff
Love their pork belly!: D
The staff are friendly and professional. Definitely one of mine and my daughter's favourite place to eat and enjoy the company of our friends/family whilst the kids can have fun too.
Play area was loved by the kids, as well as the kids colouring packs we were given on arrival.
We had the platter for 2, but was mainly comprised of pre-made frozen items.
Very nice family Tavern. Has an awesome playground for kids and food isn't too expensive. Thanks again
