I ordered the Nourish Bowl (VGO- vegan option written next to it)
When I ordered it I asked for the vegan option and she asked me to tell her what ingredient I don’t “like” to have in my bowl. So I told her, no eggs, no haloumi… and she asked me if the butter on the bread was ok.
I just told her to tell the chef I would like it vegan and they would know about my dietary request. She told me no they would not know.
I was really sceptical and just told her that a chef should know the basics about diets and allergies.
Anyways.
I asked her to add some vegetables as the bowl would just have quinoa, cherry tomatoes and kale on it (for $19 bucks a bit pricey) but she told me that anything I add would cost extra. Even that we removed already dairy and egg from the dish and end up adding avocado and mushrooms what cost me an extra $10 bucks for a stupid bowl.
Super disappointing and I can’t imagine as an owner of a cafe/restaurant having not that knowledge and just ripping people off. The portion was tiny and not satisfying for $29 at the end.
I just couldn’t believe that no one had an idea even that vegan option was available.
The venue was so cute but that was the last time I went there.

Food was great, enjoyed our chilli scrambled eggs and big brekkie. Staff were warm and friendly, will be going back again to try some other items on the menu.

Food seemed average and prices are normal for 2022. Does need improvement on general service as a whole.
Ordered hot drinks at the same time ordering food. For some reason, mains were served first and didn’t receive our first hot drink until half of our food eaten. The second hot drink pot of tea didn’t arrive until I had nearly finished my main. Would I return, maybe, unsure.

Went this morning for a coffee. Good coffee! The place is very cool and so clean! The atmosphere was so nice and their service was great too!

Quality long black. No batch on offer but enjoyed the Margaret River Coffee roasters on offer attentive staff and food was good too

The owners really know how to provide something unique here. The restaurant is filled with gorgeous metal works and the theme of Blacksmiths is definitely not just a name.

There is also a play area for the kids out on the back patio.

The food was extraordinary and the drinks were amazing. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting a great breakfast with the family.

Cant complaints! The place has casual ductwork pipe industrial interior design character.not comfortable to seat to, but you'll survive specially when the yummmy foods are served.
I'm a mocca addict, so far this place made the best mocca among beaufort st strip rest and maybe city of perth cafès (haven't try them all, but mostly.). Lovely staffs, quick responds, fair price. Love it. Recommended!

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit for Sunday lunch. Lots of space, fast friendly service and great food. The cold brew coffee is 100% recommended for a hot day, it came served in a chilled glass with water frozen inside on one side. Very refreshing and speaks well to the level of attention of something as simple as a cold coffee.

One of my favourite cafe's in the Highgate/Mt Lawley area. The food and coffee's are amazing. The staff are really nice and the atmosphere is great. Their seasonal menu's really makes things exciting, gives you a reason to come back to try new dishes.

We ordered Scrambled Eggs on Toast, Waffles and Squid Salad.

All of it tasted pretty good

First time here and was pleasantly surprised. From the front it is very deceiving and you think its going to be small inside but totally opposite. Huge inside and goes right back to an open air outdoor alfresco dining. Menu is reasonably small with not much under $20 food wise but substantial serves.

Excellent spot for a family gathering on a Sunday morning. Tasty food and lots of options. The girls are so patient with lots of kids about too. Nice spot.

The coffee and food was amazing, and the staff were friendly. Has a cute play area in the back dining space to distract the kids whilst the mums can catch up.

Great service, location and menu options! Breakfast was delicious but their iced lattes could have been stronger.

From the 3rd party booking experience, which they failed to call an confirm with me as part of their own policy it was already a shamble from the moment we entered the door, no friendly ambience from staff and funny enough no booking? I had a screaming baby dying for a feed in my arms an 16 family members standing around gawking at me like I hadn't organised it properly and no tables can be moved, no sorry you can't sit there, all the suggestions I was making even the manager was rude an very un-accommodating. If it weren't for my baby we would have walked out, obviously didn't want my business it's not like we spent $20.total bill was I bit over $350. Very disappointing, food was nice, came out in not bad time but staff need more training.won't be recommending or going back.

Came here the day after getting ice cream from the Kuld Creamery pop-up store next door to check it out. The food was delicious and well presented! I had the Truffle Mushrooms and my partner had the Pulled Pork Benedict. Also a very cute and rustic place, a great "vibe" as they call it.

Our first visit here today. Food was great, well priced and the staff were exceptional. Will definitely be back.

Owner is incredibly rude! Not at all accommodating for people with allergies. She would rather you not eat than to help. Coffee is average too. Ok sandpit outside but why include a tap for children to play with? Definitely won’t be back.

Eg.the owner refused to ask her kitchen staff to wash their hands before handling toast.
