Blacksmith Perth reviews
75Lovely breaky and perfect play area for the kids. Also very accommodating as we have kids with dairy and soy intolerances.
I used to love this place but things went a bit down hill, then when I started coming back, I ordered breaky and my poached eggs were hard and I politely asked for a replacement egg (just one, even though both were unacceptable). Waited 20mins. It never came.so we left. I think I'm done now.
Super lovely atmosphere, toddler friendly, very welcoming staff and delicious food, thank you!
Interesting coffee food location down Beaufort st, towards the city. Coffee was good and strong and the chocolate muffin was warm and scrumptious.
The decor, like the establishment, is very eclectic, but makes for good table talk.
There is place for the kids to play out the back. Parking in the area was very easy this Saturday morning.
Fastest coffees in the west - sat down after ordering and the drinks promptly followed!
Interesting menu with plenty of unique choices. Great atmosphere for kids!
Brunch - Group of 4
Food could be improved. A little bit understaffed for a Sunday. Food and drinks were coming out one by one.
Very family friendly. There's a sandpit area for the kids to play and a very spacious seating area inside and outside.
Group of 6. Great food, friendly young staff and we thought the meal size was very generous. The best crunch chicken on mine.
Yummy brunch. Inside was warm, but the back courtyard looked great. Food was super yummy, but for the price if felt like it was just a little small. One staff member was a little to busy on their phone to take our order, but it eventually happened. Overall, worth a try.
Delicious breakfast, excellent service, great decor. Overall an enjoyable dining experience.
Waited over 40 mins for a tiny $26 burnt burger and chips with only four others in the Cafe
I took my family there for brunch and was so very impressed. Even though they had a lot of people in, the young lady serving was friendly, attentive and always had a smile. The kitchen was under the pump but the food was spot on for each and everyone of us, highly recommended the KFC. The lady making the coffees knows how to make a great coffee. The chef even came out to apologise for the wait, which was not even a concern to us, we were happy to chill and relax. I’d highly recommend Blacksmith to anyone looking for good and very creative dishes, a great location and very good staff. Look forward to our next visit
I visited here, for breakfast, with my family, including two small children under 4 years old.
Inside was pleasant, calm, and air-conditioned.
Outside was ideal for children and parents. The children enjoyed playing in the sandpit and were safely enclosed.
Parents can supervise but are also able to eat while the children are happily occupied.
The food was good.
I'd definitely recommend a visit.
Really poor customer service today when we’d walked such a long way to get there. My toddler was in the pram excited for the sandpit, I had a baby in a carrier and it had been a long day. My friend had a small dog in her bag and we were not allowed to sit outside. We understand sitting inside poses heath risks but as an owner of a coffee shop myself this would never be an issue for a dog to be in a bag and outside of the building. Really poor, left with a very upset toddler as if promised him cake and a play and a very long walk home. Then staff were clearly also not wanting to take any more kitchen orders even though it was 2: 00 and they close at 3: 00. We actually didn’t want anything from the kitchen, just a smoothie and a piece of cake. I came
Here earlier in the week and also had poor customer service but thought this was a one off. We were also charged the price of a tea for a hot water and a bit of honey on it. You can buy a pot from the supermarket for less. Not good
There are many things I love about this place; food, the kids play area, the fact that the restroom actually has a nappy change table and the just the general vibe of the place is excellent. But I wanna give a major shoutout to Amy. I visited early this morning and not only did she greet my boys and myself so warmly, she was really prompt with service (the moment we were done eating and my husband stepped away to the restroom, she politely asked if she could clear our dishes) and she was so thorough in cleaning. She sprayed and wiped down every kids chair AND the other chairs at all the tables. Simply wow. Amy, thank you for being such a gem!
Definitely not coming back and not recommended to anyone. Overpriced, food ordered were average not worth the drive too.
$8 for one piece of plain pancake with nothing else. $3 for one piece of hash brown. Ordered steak sandwich $25 was supposed to come with waffle fries but got normal fries instead and when we asked the person who tool the order said "oh they didn't tell you? We are out of the waffle fries" well he is the one who took the order and forgot to tell us.
Ordered a long macchiato with oat milk and it was bitter and burnt.
Very disappointed.
Ordered the breakfast platter for $27. The sausage was completely raw inside, then I kidly asked for it to be cooked properly, however, the waitress insisted that it was cooked! I showed it to her and finally she took it to the kitchen for it to be cooked. 20 mins later the chef brought the sausage, however it was still raw in the middle. Not to mention how bad the rest of the breakfast components were! The bread is served without butter or at least butter on the side. Certainly for that price you can get a much more decent breakfast anywhere! Service is not brilliant either. On the positive side the place is very convenient with kids as it has a sandpit.
First time going in after driving past for a long time not know what it was … it’s was a cafe!
Good coffee and muffins, really nice atmosphere wish I had time for proper food will be coming again
I loved this place for its decor and its food both being a little quirky but very taste full. The seats are beautiful but extremely uncomfortable. If you have a chance, sit on a sofa at the booths. The service was attentive, and made for a great place to add to my coffee map.
We have been here many times for breakfast, brunch and coffee stop. Nice food and service. This place is kids friendly providing Indoor and outdoor sitting area and spacious nappy change table in the toilet.
The outdoor space has a small sandpit and playroom with roof cover so the kids still can enjoy the space on a raining day.
Good environment and place for kids to play. Good is above the average and the regular coffee is a little bit smaller than other shops. But everything is good to try. The service is quick and polite
